The customer service is horrible. Calls are not returned. Emails are vague or no reply at all. Avoid at all costs.

The stove was shipped out ad we received it in a week in perfect condition.  We installed it in a little kitchenette and checked to see if it turned on and it did.  We haven't cooked with it yet, still waiting for the countertop to be installed.  I was very happy with my experience with Rainbow Appliance.

Three weeks after the order was placed I received an email (not a phone call) stating they no longer had my order in stock and gave me the choice of either cancelling the order (clearly their choice) or taking a different color.  I chose a different color since I really needed the item.  The trucking company (two weeks later) gave my wife a hassle over where they would handle it to (the driveway) and hassled her on her request to inspect it before accepting (his exact words was "we never do that", when in fact the reciever always inspects before delivery).  Given the delays and shipping hassels, I don't ever expect to order from Rainbow again.

Very low price. Saved over $1000 compared to the local big box. They delivered in a reasonable time as promised with a reasonable shipping fee. There shipping company was polite on the phone setting up a time for delivery.  It was delivered with no damage.

Purchased a GE Cafe range. Spoke to the customer service rep in placing this order after reviewing online. Wanted to understand the shipping/delivery process as we live out of state. The range was delivered on time without mishap or delay. Rainbow and the carrier both provided details as to status of order and delivery times. The driver even went out of his way to assist me in getting the range in the house.

I really lucked out with Rainbow Appliance.  I chose them because they had the best price for the Avanti refrigerator that we wanted.  What I got was incredible service.  The refrigerator arrived very quickly over the holidays surpassing my expectations.  There were no dings or marks on the appliance as it had been packaged beautifully.  I am very satified and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Quick and easy transaction. These guys offer great pricing, great service, and prompt shipping.  The appliances (a dual-fuel range and a microwave-hood combination) arrived within two weeks of my ordering them, and were delivered to my front door.  Installation would've been a breeze if I hadn't had to re-locate my gas jet (but that's hardly Rainbow Appliance's fault).  I'd order from these guys again in a New Jersey minute!

I ordered a refrigirator and stove from Rainbow. It cost $500 less than the on sale items at big box stores.  I had a renovation in progress and was able to delay the delivery date 3 times without any problems.  When I was ready they gave me a 2 hour window, showed up on time, gave me a call before coming in, and delivered the appliances into my kitchen after removing the boxes.  No damage was done to the cabinets even though the space was tight.  The appliances were brand new, very well packaged and work beautifully.  Customer service and delivery was better than my past experience with Best Buy.  No complaints, and I love the price paid.

I ordered a washer and dryer on November 20th and was told the item would ship out within a day or two.  On December 5th, I still yet to get a straight answer on when my item will be delivered.  Everyday, I call the store only to have someone tell me how the appliances are on the truck and ready to be delivered.  The shipping company has no record of my order at all.  Finally, after much fighting with the store, my order was delivered and installed (for free) on December 6th.  I still do not understand why they were not honest from the beginning.  You don't tell someone something is in stock and will ship out in a day or two when it actually is backordered and won't be delivered for 3 weeks.  I appreciated the free installation, which I would have happily paid for, although they told me it was not even available in my area....just more lies.

Best price we found for this all-in-one kitchen unit.  Shipping was TERRIBLE. Arrived in a tractor-trailer rig too big for access to our residential street.  Had to accept delivery in a parking lot & put in our pickup truck.  No practical way to unwrap the unit before accepting delivery.  After unloading at our house, removed from box & inspected.  Had minor dents, one in left side & one in right side.  Fortunately, the unit was installed in recess area originally intended for a closet, so the dents are not visible.

Recommend you determine accessability to your property by a tractor-trailer rig BEFORE ordering.  Don't order from this company if you have an access problem.

Rainbow Appliance exceeded my expectations! I ordered an Electrolux double wall oven on Sunday, October 21, 2012 and it was delivered to Minnesota - 8 days later on Monday, October 29th. R & L Freight was also amazing, friendly and courteous! Rainbow appliance saved me over $800 on this oven!!! For the price that I was paying, I honestly was expecting less than perfection when it came to service & delivery, however it couldn't have been more perfect. I would definitely recommend Rainbow Appliance - they truly delivered!

Great people to deal with. Service, price, and delivery were everything you expect from a retailer.  Several emails sent concerning delivery were answered promptly.  Price was the best I've found. Manufacturers try to control priced through what they call "Minimum Advertised Price". Search hard enough and you'll find an honest retailer like Rainbow Appliance.

  Completely satisfactory (so far, of course the store can't be responsible for Danby).  Agents answered all my questions, emailed me when item was to be shipped, invoice, tracking #, everything.  Trucking company was very cooperative, delivered at my convenience & on time.

I ordered a refrigerator from Rainbow Appliance.  Ordering was very easy and quick, delivery was on time and shipped very quickly.  The refrigerator, a small Danby refrigerator with no freezer, arrived in perfect shape and is just what I wanted.  I am very happy with this company and would buy from them again and I would recommend them highly.

I ordered a Weber Genesis Grill from Rainbow Appliance and placed the order  by phone because I had some questions.  The representative was polite and very helpful.  I placed my order and received my grill in less than a week!  The price was less than other Weber dealers and my grill arrived in perfect condition.  It did take about 4 hours to totally assemble the grill but that was something that I knew I would have to do.  Grill is great!  Shopping with Rainbow Appliance was great!  Price was great!  Would I recommend Rainbow Appliance to others?  YES !

Rainbow Appliance had very good prices, a good selection and very low shipping charges.  You should be aware, however, that the freight outfit that Rainbow uses does not deliver to every locale in the USA. Rainbow customer service folks were very helpful in negotiating a "meeting" between me and the delivery truck (we met in a parking lot about two hours from my home where the refrigerator was transferred from their truck to my pickup). This took some additional time and trouble, but still cheaper than any other deal I could find and worth it to me.  The refrigerator was in perfect condition and the deal was just as described on Rainbow's WEB site.
Bottom Line: I'm a happy customer.

The range I ordered was "stainless steel look," and the picture on their site looked closed to stainless steel. The actual range is green. It looks nothing like stainless (not even "faux stainless"). The range was delivered to my door - but not inside, I had to bring it in myself. It was also delivered on a wooden pallet, which the delivery man informed me was now mine. What use do I have for a large wooden pallet? The shipment arrived in a timely manner, however, so at least I didn't have to wait...

I've ordered three appliances for my kitchen under remodeling.  Due to availability and pricing I ended up ordering each from a different online merchant.  What difference service each has provided:

1. Rainbow Appliance delivered the dishwasher about 10 days after the order.
2. The cooktop from another merchant should be delivered today - about 17 days after the order.
3. Order for the oven was canceled becuase the merchant had sold the "last" one to someone else - I got the notice 12 days after the order and only after I'd inquired.

Thus I am really satisfied with Rainbow's service and will definitely buy from them again.

Now I believe all those negative reviews we read about Rainbow Appliance!! Spoke with their rep and got a "special promotion" discount on the Weber grill I wanted. Same day, I ordered on their web site which showed item was available. That night, got an email requesting I call back because of "a problem with order." Called them next morning and was told "it has been discontinued." No substitute item offered. No apology. No nothing from them! At my request, they sent an email showing the order was cancelled. However, my credit card reports the charge was posted. I'll have to wait a week to see if the charge is refunded. What a hassle. And, I still don't have a grill.

Rainbow is Great!  I google searched the best price on a Weber S-310. Rainbow came up with a great price on last year's model.  They were sold out on that one so they upgraded me to the current model for no charge!!  Customer service was very helpful in providing info when I wanted to arrange for a specific shipping time.  5 stars!

We ordered a Weber Genesis Grill from Rainbow Appliance. They were the most competive price that we found. They also offered free shipping which made it even more attractive. They corresponded with us several times to let us know when it was shipped, when it would be delivered, etc. Shipping was very quick. Ordered on May 21st from New Jersey, delivered May 29th in Missouri. It would of been quicker if it had not been for the Memorial Day holiday.  It arrived strapped to a pallet and in great shape.
Two hours later, I was grilling.
I can't say enough about how great, and responsive Rainbow Appliance was.
I highly recommend them as a company to do business with. I think you would be completely satisfied, we were.
