Musician's Friend

Songbook was supposed to be for guitar. Contained melody only. I called, Said they COULD NOT take it back.Therefore I can NO LONGER purchase songbooks from Musicians friend. Songbook was not as advertised. They've cut their nose off for a $12 songbook. I've spent a lot of money with them and had planned to spend a lot more. Instead I'll take my songbook purchases elsewhere.

I found accordion straps on Musician's Friend Website. The price was the best I could fine online on those particular straps. There was one other website with the same price, but Musician's Friend did not charge shipping, and the other site's shipping charge was very high.
I received the straps within a couple of days, and I'm really happy with them. I also received emails tracking the order, so I knew exactly when it was ready to be delivered. This is the fastest shipping I've had from various merchants I've purchased from online.
I also had a question about the product, and the guy I spoke to actually knew about the product and gave me a real answer - not like some merchants who outsource customer service to people who have no idea about the products being sold and just read from a description.

Musician's Friend website recommended the adapter for their electric keyboard we bought from them, but when we bought an adapter from them and received it, we discovered it was the wrong adapter. When we tried immediately returning it with its original packaging, they only gave us $4.95 back out of a $11.90 purchase. So, I don't recommend doing business with this company. You're at risk of buying the wrong product and then getting screwed out of getting a full refund. I will not being buying from this online company again. I'll go to Amazon to purchase items like these.

they need to add to the discription of size to the mechandise these i thought it would be bigger and better sound quality it is not what i expected in the amp i am disatisied in the amp and will shop around more next time i go to order for my hubsband. Cindy Hughes

Despite calling ahead of time to verify the Boss Phase Shifter (Phaser) was in-stock, after ordering it online I received a "back order" statement. Then, the sales associates didn't have an answer for why I was first told it was in-stock--highly unprofessional. I still don't have it.

Snafu in shipping with no one being home when delivery should have occurred. I was traveling to fla for a gig on Key Biscayne and missed a phone call on Dec 27.. I didn't return until 12/31. I phoned customer service and was led to believe there was a debit card problem. The call was dropped. I phoned back later and heard everything was O.K.. In my spam box, 1/4/13 I received an intent to deliver notice citing the last week in December and to use a postal receipt to pick up the order. The confusing part is that the postal location of the parcel is Los Angeles. I am in Asheville N.C.. I am about to call customer service 1/5/13 to atempt to rectify the situation. My frustrtion is great. My future business depends on the outcome of the call.

Musician's Friend used to be a top notch company. Now, not so much. The price match guarantee is pretty much B.S. Just a scam to get you to the site. They only price match when it is convenient for them. I like new gear but you are almost forced now to shop used items locally. Almost every time there is a great deal the item is out of stock or some other issue. It's a shame all the items I've bought through MF and MF on eBay. I have sent many people over the years to MF. What a let down this company has become. Customer service will give you the runaround and not work with you to make things right.

I bought this guitar because of the special sale on them...I have wanted one for years, especially the TV Yellow, and it arrived with the packing box very damaged, but the guitar perfect. It is a great player, and I have already posted pics of it on a guitar forum and others there say they are impressed by how good it looks. I have a lot of guitars, playing since about 1962, and this is a very very good player...and the P90's are GREAT!

Having never purchased a ukulele before, I was looking for an overview on the instrument - its history, best woods for sound, best strings to use, etc - "in general". Some of the product descriptions were very short and not very descriptive, however, others did have decent info and those are ones I purchased.
