I ordered their branded Windows 7 and was very pleased.  It installed easily on a barebones PC. Activation was simple and received the Windows Genuine seal.  I needed to change from 32 bit to 64 bit software and the help I received was quick and better than I could have hoped for.  My experience far exceeded my expectations and was better than I have ever received from any online company.

i ordere 2 of the windows 7 pro oem rebranded cd's and the keys were blocked by microsoft and upon calling the automated system to unblock the keys, I was told that the cd keys were not legitimate keys.  FRAUD ALERT.  I ordered a server 2008 cd as well and thank god that did not post for whatever reason.  I contacted DiscountMountainSoftware.com and they said to call microsoft and tell them that it was a cd from a friend and try to unblock the key that way.  FAIL.........FRAUD ALERT.  You have been warned.  I cant believe companies like this are allowed to get away with this type of illegal activity.

I was a little nurvous reading a couple of the reviews and especially given how much lower their prices were, but no worries here.  I ordered Office for Mac 2011 Student and Home Edition. It came in just a few days and was in its shrinked wrap box.  No problem installing using the product code on the box.  I am glad I was not guided by the negative review.

I wonder how many of the previous reviews are employees or friends of the company.  MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS QUITE DIFFERENT.  I paid $80 for a bargain of a Windows 7 upgrade 32 bit for a Gateway Laptop.  The software arrived and the install disks were for an HP computer with a note inside explaining not to worry that the install would work (CLUE #1).  After installing I had problems with the wireless driver not being recognized and I would have to restart the computer.  Then on several occassions on start up I would receive an error message that read that I had a counterfeit copy of the Windows software.

The folks at DiscountMountainSoftware were most pleasing to deal with. Even though I live In Wyoming and the item shipped from Denver, I received the product within three days. I saved $15.00 off of the product and they shipped the item for free...which is somthing you cannot beat. I would not hesitate whatsoever to use DiscountMountainSoftware again. Discount Mountain Software is a new company, but an up and coming one. I found them when I was searching for the cheapest place to buy a Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade disc and was amazed at how they beat Amazon's price by a good 15%. Despite my limited knowledge on the company I decided to make the purchase. It turned out to be a great decision. They offer free standard shipping and overall low prices. My package came within two business days, with the standard shipping. The packaging was legitimate and the product was as well, it worked just as described and there was never anything fishy about the transaction. With the low prices and quick and cheap shipping I will definitely return to this website for my future software and computer needs. I would recommend this site to anyone looking to buy software related products and I was obviously very satisfied with my purchase! Choose this company before everyone else finds out about them!

What a pleasant experience!  I placed my order on Friday and it was delivered to Brooklyn on Monday.  The description was accurate, the price was low and the software was genuine, not some cheap copy with a bogus key.  I would happily deal with Discount Mountain Software again and wish that all on-line purchases were so straightforward.

Bought Adobe Illustrator CS4 in September, 2009. I was a little skeptical at first, because the price seemed too low and I had not heard of this company. The recent reviews convinced me to give them a try. I am so glad I did. They delivered with no problems and shipping using regular USPS was very fast (3 days). This company has earned my trust and I am about to make another purchase from them very soon (Adobe InDesign).

I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first. Their prices seemed too low to be legitimate. I saved over $1000 on Adobe CS4 Web Premium (full retail, non-academic version). The packaging and serial key were authentic, and all is well. I will definitely use them again.

PS: They are based out of Colorado, have a physical address in the U.S., and actually answer the phone when you call. No overseas, out-sourced B.S. And they were super nice on the phone.

Small shop.  You call on the phone, they answer.   I love companies like this.  The internet has enabled the little bookstore on the corner to have national reach - and if you're smart and can avoid "the Amazon" and find these little gems, you'll be immensely rewarded with better customer service.

Bought an academic version of the software I needed (part time student), had it overnighted when JourneyEd was out of stock.

Minor issue of shipping the wrong version, but they made good and immediately sent the right one, overnighted, no hassle.

I really wanted the right software the first time, but that's partially on me for not planning ahead better.
