Terrible, Horrible,

Terrible experience. I ordered an item which was supposed to be delivered in time for Christmas. Well after not hearing from anyone at deluxe.com for a few days, I decided to call and check on the status of my order. I was told that they saw my order in the system but there were no notes or ETA etc. Then was told they'd call me back in an hour. After a few hours, I received a call from a deluxe.com rep who then told me the item I ordered was out of stock in the color I ordered and wouldn't be available until mid January. However, they'd be happy to give me a different color. As a side note, out of all the colors this item was available in, at this time of course this item was available in only 1 color. Anyway, I don't want another color and now am in a jam as Christmas is around the corner. I will NEVER order from deluxe EVER again.

Twenty-two days later, and I am still awaiting the single box of checks I ordered from Deluxe.com. My need for checks is not great, so I generally go a couple of years between reorders. This is significant, because I never remember that Deluxe has ALWAYS taken forever to fulfill my orders. The company representatives I contacted tell me my order shipped on 7/23...over two weeks ago. I am having trouble imagining that even the CHEAPEST shipping rate could take that long to get a small package from NJ (their fulfillment headquarters) to my home in PA. And this is for a customer for whom they already HAD all my bank account information. Maybe NEXT time I'll smarten up and order somewhere else.

I ordered checks from Deluxe Online on Oct 19, 2009. One of the attractions of going this route (rather then reorder through the bank) was that the Deluxe website indicated orders online were processed about 3 days faster.Well, it's now 17

I currently work customer service for a bank, although I have no problem placing check orders for customers, Deluxe.com has been great for my customers as well as myself. If you have access to the web placing an order with Deluxe.com is easier than by phone or mail. My order was out to me quicker than usual and choosing what I wanted was much easier. Again, working for a bank, the customers don't have the option to view a catalog without going into the branch. Deluxe.com allows customers to make a selection that they are happy with!

I thought I had waited until the last minute to order new checks since I had just placed the last stack of checks into my wallet. Turns out that by using www.deluxe.com I got my checks in the mail before I even wrote a check in my last stack!
