Terrible- They were out of stock and said they would issue a refund on my order. No refund. Called and they argued that they HAD already issued refund. Had to take it to PayPal resolution center. Still awaiting refund 2 weeks later.

Light was shipped damaged. replacement part sent 2 weeks later. did not fix the problem. I made contact again. Was told I would receive a complete replacement and shipping labels to return the damaged item and replacement part. Waited 3 weeks...nothing. I made contact again...told I would get the entire light replaced...heard nothing. I made contact again and asked for full refund and shipping labels again. Have been dealing with this for 7 weeks. 2 people I have spoken to are polite and say all the right things. they have been trained in their phone manners, however there isn't any follow through. And bottom line is: I have no light and am out $150.00.

I am still waiting on a replacement chandelier, as the first was damaged in shipping process due to poor packaging. It took 12 days for the first chandelier to come, and it is over a week now since the problem was reported and they have yet to ship a replacement. SHOP ELSEWHERE !!!!
Dimensions on their website is not accurate either... |

I had a truly horrific experience with 1stop lighting and I do NOT recommend shopping here. they are dishonest and deceiving. They made no attempt to correct their mistake and was almost relieved when I cancelled the order.

Bought a $400 lamp that promised 3 day shipping or they would give me a $100 credit. I waited 2 weeks then called and was told the lamp was another 3 weeks away. I figured for $100 I could wait. The lamp showed up 4 weeks later. When I called about the credit I was promised I was told that I was not eligible since the lamp was on backorder. Where did that come from!! Of course it was on backorder. That is what late shipment means!!!!
This site is nothing but a scam. Just awful. And they are dumb people to deal with. Buy anywhere else. Anywhere!! 100% SCAM. |

Puechased 2 Besa light fixtures and they were defective. Did not discover the defect until after their 21 day policy due to construction. They claim a defect is not covered under warranty and will do nothing.

I have now placed over 10 orders with 1stoplighting. While they have not been 100% perfect on every order, they have followed through on the two issues I have had until they were resolved. If you have a problem and the first agent does not resolve it, try calling back. Alternatively ask for Geoff Dawe. He is the Operations Manager and will spend the time and energy to address and correct your issues.
You do have to call back a second tiem to get refunds applied. HINT: Use paypal and you can see the credit post while you are on the phone with them. Always call them first and confirm your items are in-stock. Their prices are the best. They offer and promptly pay credits on many styles when you post a review. They also promptly process and pay the late delivery gurantees without hassle or excuses. Over all they get 4.5 stars! |

I ordered a light fixture, only to find out that the light would be back ordered for over 2 months. I had to call in order to cancel (not allowed to cancel using the website or e-mail), and was on hold forever. The website should account for items that are not in stock - very irritating shopping experience.

This company does not stand behind the products (Besa Lighting) they sell. Three of the six pendant light shades I bought from them were defective. They refuse to replace the shades, they inform me I have to "purchase" them.

I purchased an open box ceiling fan in addition to a few additional brand new items. The ceiling fan was in perfect condition in spite of being open box. All the items arrived quickly in excellent condition. Being a Canadian customer the fact that I can still qualify for free shipping and incur no add'l taxes/duty or markup for Cdn customers is unique among any vendor not just lighting stores. This fact alone will keep me coming back as a customer and recommending 1stoplighting to my friends. I extensively research to find the best prices online, 1stoplighting was among the price leaders for many of the items I researched, throwing in free shipping and cdn duty free put them over the top.

Everything arrived in perfect condition and sooner than I expected. My only disappointment was with an email enquiry before purchasing, I asked if I needed 2 canopies for the pendants I was told no, I received the order and now it is obivious that I do need the canopies. I now have to place another order and it will not meet the free shipping limit.

Easy to buy via the website. Difficult to obtain tracking information. They confirmed tracking number two hours after it was delivered. There was a one day holiday between the day I ordered and a week later. Can't fault them too much--it showed up pretty quickly. Overall, a fine transaction with free shipping, no tax, exactly what I wanted, and prompt delivery. I'd trust these guys again and recommend them highly.

I ordered a product from them. They shipped the wrong product. They say they will not accept the return without an RGA number. I have contacted them 4 times over 2 weeks for an RGA number, and each time they say they will call back tomorrow, since they need to ask the manufacturer for one. I told them I would just send the order back to them at 1StopLighting, since that's who charged my credit card. Their response was that if I did that, I probably wouldn't receive my refund since they might lose the package!!

The online store was great. 1Stop had the best price to offer. The ceiling fan arrived to the house in excellent condition.
As a side note, 1Stop emailed me to state that the ceiling fan would not be delivered by the designated time. Therefore, the company voluntarily discounted the ceiling fan's price. In fact, the fan still arrived on time. I can't complain about that! |

I ordered a chandelier from One Stop Lighting on 4-3-07. My credit card was charged on that date and I was told that the chandelier would be shipped on 5-14-2007. On 4-20-07, 17 days later, I was told that the chandelier was not available. I called the manufacturer directly and was informed that the merchandise was scheduled for shipment on the promised date of 5-14-07. One Stop Lighting refused to sell the merchandise to me for the advertised price that they charged to my credit card and cancelled my order. I am referring them to the BBB and the attorney general of California for false advertisement and failure to fulfill their contractual agreement.

I tried to order a glass shade for a lamp, and the shade from Cal BO-783 looked like it would work. I wrote to ask the dimensions and got a reply very quickly. I was excited because I had been searching for this item for a long time, and the measurements matched my lamp. I ordered it, and waited for availability to be checked, then got a shipping date. Two days later, I got a phone call to say that the item is discontinued and out of stock (so WHY did the tracking system say 'AVAILABLE, will be shipped on --'?)
