Bad company, does not stand behind their product

I purchased online a trimline telephone, when I received the product it did not work. I called 101 phones and ask for a replacement and was told that as soon as I shipped the broken phone bacf at my expense they would send me another, at that point I ask for a refund. The phone was shipped back at a cost of $8.80 and today I received a refund of $18.99, I paid 29.99 for the phone. Needless to say I am not a happy camper and would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Was calling on behalf of a terminally ill neighbor.  Phones ordered would not accomodate medical equipment.  Once rep understood I was asking for restocking fee to be reversed I was transferred, 3 times to be exact.  Each time put on eternal hold with the last being hung up on.  Asking for restocking fees for a mistake made by someone who is not 100% is not unreasonable.  I even inquired about a different phone that would have everything needed.  We weren't trying to get out of buying a phone.

I work for the largest telecommunications company in the world and if I or any of my coworkers treated a customer like I was we would have been reprimanded.

Frustrating

I ordered a phone from these people and it turned out to be a piece of junk!  When I called them to return the phone they said they would refund all my purchase price but when I checked my credit card, they had held back 15%.  I called them again and they said they would refund the balance so I am still waiting!

Don't buy from these people...a real hassle.  They do have a customer service you can call...if you can understand them through the foreign accents...

Customer service stinks!

Special phone ordered for Grandmother so she can hear it ring- arrived and was broken.  NO paperwork included with shipping.  WARNING you are talking to people in India for support.  Support had me try a bunch of things with the phone before finally aggreeing that the phone is broken.  STILL waiting for them to send an email with the return shipping info/label more then 24 hours after talking to support (why was this not in the box to begin with?)
My next move is to call credit card company and dispute charge.
NOT happy at all!

Ordered two phones from this merchant. Recieved two cheaply made and defective phones. Returned them and asked for a full refund as the quality was poor. They still charged 30% restocking fee.

I ordered a Plantronics Bluetooth Headset from these people.  It was supposed to be new and include a manual.  It was NOT new and no manual was included.  When I called to find out about the manual, "Peggy" put me on hold for 20 minutes then gave me a phone number for the manufacturer.  When I questioned why they advertised a manual when they weren't providing one, "Peggy" hung up on me.

Do not buy refurbished phones from 101phones!  Their return policy will not allow refunds.  The phone does not work and they want me to pay to send it back so they can look at it and decide if they will send a replacement.  Don't be fooled by buySAFE.  It only guarantees their shabby return policy, not satisfaction with the product.  I went to hhgregg and bought a brand new phone for half the price.  Granted, it does not work with my system, but it works!!  I should have done that in the first place and saved much aggravation and money.

purchased a "NEW - bulk packaged" jawbone Era bluetooth headset that was mailed in a grey small mailing bag with  no padding or protection, the headset and charger was enclosed in a cheap sandwich bag missing the ear buds and over the ear hoop and was previously used heavily.Called and told to returned for replacement. Replacement was missing ear buds and over ear hoop. shipped in a sandwich bag with no protection for the headset (70.00 item).Talked to upper level mgr and told - ship it back and we will replace it . . does not come with earbuds or hoops so there will be none in the package.Asked mgr to explain "NEW - bulk packaged", told that it was bulk packaged and there was no box but "new". I asked how the last one was used yet sold as new and she had no answer other than to offer a 4.00 shipping credit to return for refund.I would call this place horribly over rated and not up front in their advertising. No amount of discount is going to offset false advertising or bad customer service.

Ordered Blueant Q2 headsets advertised as "Brand New". Received the merchandise in small, wrinkled, plastic bags with no instructions and no extra earbuds.  If you order this product directly from the manufacturer you receive a whole set of additional earbuds.  So basically I saved $20 on these so called "Brand New" ear pieces that I'm going to have to spend anyway to order the necessary earbuds that I need to make it work.  What a joke!

I ordered a phone for my mother-in-law who has low vision needs.  I found the perfect phone and their price was lower then other sites I searched.  The phone came in a timely fashion but it was the wrong phone.  After long waits to speak with someone I was told they would get back to me.  Since I am planning to visit my mil in a few days I really needed to get it today.  A form was sent to me via e-mail.  I was expecting a phone call telling me they would expediate the correct order.  I followed up with another phone call and was then told that I would need to send back the phone I received and then order a new one with expedited delivery charges all at my expense.  I was told I could talk to a supervisor tomorrow, but there was nothing they could do....I would recommend that you stay far away from this on-line store.

I ordered the Plantronics Voyager 855 bluetooth stereo headset from these guys.  They shipped me the headset without the stereo attachment for my other ear!  I called customer service and went through the trouble of returning the original shipment for an exchange.  Two weeks later I hadn't received the new headset, so I called in to find there was a back order that would take another three weeks.  They said I could cancel the order for a full refund (taking the loss on shipping to return the incomplete part).  I accepted, only to find out on my credit card statement that they only gave me a partial refund.  Now 101Phones has cost me hours of my time as well as money.  I do not recommend this company!

My experience with 101Phones.com is what I hope for with any transaction. A good product at a good price with friendly and competent representatives, and prompt shipping. I order my Uniden Phone on the weekend and it was delivered on Tuesday after the weekend. My order was not only shipped quickly but was professionally packaged also! Tracking number was provided and it was easy to track for delivery. One of the items was left out, and they rapidly, resolved the problem with just one email. As a result, I have a professional quality Phone delivered by this great group of professionals at 101Phones.com.

Bought a Bluant Q2 device. It was shipped as promissed. problem was it was suppossed to be new. It arrived in a plastic pouch NOT the Blueant box/ packaging and just one ear piece.
When you try call 101 phones and go to the correct department(customer service) as prompted. OK waited 11.25 minutes no help. Then recalled and went to sales, AMAZING they answered within 5 seconds. Rude gentleman told me I had reached sales and i need to go to the correct department. Tried to explain to him they do not answer.

Finally after calling a third time and waiting another 12 minutes I spoke with a customer service rep, who told me she does not know how it is supposed to be shipped as it comes direct from the manufacturer. Was told to return it at MY EXPENSE to 101 phones NOT to the manufacturer. So I am assuming when i return it they will tell me it was not returned as original as there is not in original packaging.

How would they know as it was (as I was told) not shipped by them.

GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE WHO BUYS FROM 101 PHONES ONLINE AND HAS AN ISSUE.

Ordered $702.57 of equipment for a hospice patient and the equipment never came.  The company claimed that the credit card was never charged and they cancelled the order. American Express shows the charge being made. Calls to customer service were unsuccessful due to calls being routed to somewhere in India. Now they can not even pull up our order at all and told me that it was not in their system. Now dealing with Americn Express to get the money back.

I purchased a Blueant Q2 bluetooth headset from them and when it arrived it did not have the directions or a quick start guide, and it only had one ear gel, not the six different sizes it was supposed to come with. When I called 101phones customer support they said it only comes with one because it was bulk pakaged. I explaned to them that bulk packaged means it dosen't come in a box, NOT that it dosen't come with the accessorys it is supposed to. They offered no explanation or help to get the ear gels. There customer service is horrible and there website is misleading. I will never buy from them again or recommend them to any one else.

Horrible. I ordered a bluetooth device for my phone, transaction was smooth, received the device in a reasonable amount of time. They obviously grabbed the device and its parts out of a bag of a thousand because they were all thrown in a clear plastic bag, including device, charger, and rubber earpiece. The problem was, the rubber earpiece was not made for this phone, it was round, generic, and does not fit in ones ear. Looking at the images online of this device it was clear they just threw any old rubber ear piece into the bag and then shipped it.

I sent an email asking for the correct earpiece, no response. I called three separate times, and in all three instances when I reached a rep I was told by him "I am currently finishing another call can I place you on hold for a while", yes, "a while". Why was I taken away from the queue with their wonderful hold music to be put on a "beep beep" hold? I waited 15 minutes each time and never got to speak to a person again. 

Terrible customer service, buyers beware.

Falls advertisment.  Item described as brand new, but recieved item two weeks later in a zip lock bag with a charger.  Call to complain, and was told just return the item, and could not get them to pay for shipping.  I want to complain to the better business burea for falls adervertisment.

101 phones will not stand behind their products.  I recently purchased 3 headsets from them.  One was dead and all three were missing parts. When I called about this I received a canned response of "We are not responsible for what is included in our refurbish items".  No attempt was made to resolve the issue.  I then asked about returning the items and they said no problem they would take of that.  They took care of it by taking 24% off the my refund.  When I called to get a better understanding of this charge I received the same lack of customer support.  When I asked to speak with a manager or the owner they did not know how to get a hold of them.  I have purchased from this company for over four years and never will again.  Customer service is not a part of their business model.

The product was delivered in the time specified and was exactly as described. In fact, I would have to say the quality was much better than I expected given the very reasonable price. On 6/13 I  placed an order for a new phone but received what was obviously a used one.  There was actually a packing receipt from the previous buyer in the box with the phone, and the phone numbers that had been entered into the memory were still there.  When I called and talked to the manager, I was told that I would need to pay to ship the phone back to them.  I don't get it.  Why should I have to pay for their mistake?

Bought Panasonic phone - I had a good transaction with 101Phones.com. Order was processed and delivered within a reasonable time. They sent an order confirmation via email and soon after I received tracking information. I have dealt with other companies that make promises and don't stand up to them and this isn't one of them. This is the worst "store" I have ever done business with.  I received one used item that was unuseable and even though I said NOT to send another, they did it anyway and it was just like the first one.
They then charged me freight both ways even on the unauthorized shipment. Then they charged me a restocking fee for the unauthorized shipment.  I had to call back nine times to get a surly supervisor who refused to give me the name of the owner.  You have to be crazy to read this and then go and buy from this sleazy outfit.
