Slow shipping. billed me for Priority mail and did parcel post instead on two seperate orders. Still waiting about a month for something their webpage said was instock. Will not buy from them again. Prices for Alaska shipping were very high.

Do not trust this website -- they don't indicate when items are not in stock. If you're lucky, you'll receive your order on time. If not, it can take weeks as they order from the manufacturer, without even updating you about the situation. I ordered two items with expedited delivery, and promptly received a confirmation email saying that my order was "Processing." I heard nothing further from them for a week. I got nervous when the package still hadn't arrived, so I went back to their site and checked my order status and finally found out what was going on. When I spoke to an employee about this on the phone, she said their website simply "is not capable" of tracking inventory -- apparently they have no plan to fix this, in spite of all the complaints about it here and on their Facebook page.

This company is terrible..... STAY AWAY and buyer beware.
It seems they are nothing more than a storefront with no inventory and nothing but form letters for replies to inquiries. They don't advise you items are on backorder and then when you call them to find out where your order is they give you the runaround and a date the items will ship...... lets just say 17 days later still have not heard from them and item still has not shipped. |

After check-out I had a message that read Express Check-Out Failed in red letters. I waited three days and never recieved any confirmation upon which time I reordered. I did recieve confimation this time but to tell me the item was not in stock, although the site said it was, and that it would ship directly from the manufacturer. I then get home two weeks later to find two pairs of boots sitting on my doorstep. I called customer service to see about a refund and was told that I could send them back for refund but I have to pay for the shipping cost. The customer service rep. that I spoke with was a joke. She wouldn't stop talking long enough to listen to what I was saying. She kept telling me that I recieved a confirmation for each order even though I told her at least four times that I only recieved one confirmation for one order. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

Over 30 days and no word from these jokers yet!!!! Unbelievably slow for online retailer in the internet age!!!
Slow to respond to emails, slow to ship, they sell you stuff that they do not have in stock, and do not answer the phones. This was the first and last order I will ever place with them as I am number 15 in line on hold for their customer service. This takes a bad shopping experience and makes it worse. UPDATE 12/6: They finally answered the phone after sitting on hold over 30 minutes. When I gave order number they told me they thought it shipped, could not find it in the back, and no tracking number. Told them if product did not show up by 12/7 that i would just be charging back the order on my credit card while i still can. Not much of any kind of retailer much less an internet retailer. SECOND UPDATE: Finally got someone, they refunded my money and told me they would send me the product free. That was a week ago and still nothing. At least I got my money back! Dont trust these guys, dont waste your time, money, or effort. |

The website looks very nice, but that superficial appearance is as far as the quality goes. They don't seem to stock all that they sell and will delete out of stock items from an order without any notification causing additional shipping costs to get the item from a vendor that actually stocks what they sell. I regret giving workingperson.com a chance. It was a mistake that won't be repeated.

Customer support does nothing. they lost a return i made. said they would issue a gift card. when i try to use it, it comes up wrong or expired " talked to them about it, very nice folks, they issue a new card # and the same thing happens, its like a cruel joke, be very careful about what you buy from these folks. if you need to return it, its like HELL.

I spent much time looking for a very specific jacket and Working Person's Store finally had it listed as "In Stock". After taking my money for both the jacket and shipping & handling I was promised on-time arrival. After a few emails back and forth I was informed that the jacket is actually out-of-stock and cannot be delivered until August 5th. I've yet to receive my money back.

My orders have been received as expected- since 2003. I have been shopping online with WorkingPerson.com for years and have never had a problem that was not addressed quickly. They have always come through for me. The customer service department can get difficult to get through to around Christmas, but otherwise I have had a minimal hold time and everyone has been focused on taking care of me. Their returns process is very easy and fair and their prices and price matching policy is among the best I have seen. The site has always been accurate. I would highly recommend WorkingPerson.com. (I do wish they would start carrying Berne apparel.)

I've been shopping for boots online as far back as I could remember, been through major popular sites such as Zappos.com, ShoeBuy.com, PapaShoe.com, Wolverine.com and Shopzilla.com. I could say that although Workingperson.com provides a comparative good package of services and a decent stock, they do not really stand out to me overall as the strongest. Boots that I want are occasionally out of stock and deliveries are less reliable.

I ordered from WorkingPerson.com and paid with PayPal. The web site said the shoes were in stock. I heard nothing from them. After two weeks and no shoes, I called. They claimed they had sent two emails to me. They are correct. One was saying that the email address given by PayPal was incorrect and use a different address. I used the other address and got no reply. A week later, I sent another email and got no reply. When I finally called, they said the shoes were out of stock and would been in the next week. Nothing yet. I tried the online assistance, but every time it said the operator was busy. After trying several times, I left a message asking them to call me. As of this writing I have not received a call. I won't ever buy from them again. I can't even get my order number. I would much rather pay a little more and have good customer service.

On December 9th,2007 I ordered some Carhartt overalls for my husband and received them within 3 weeks. However, I also ordered Carhartt winter coveralls at the same time, and they went on back order..again...and again.. and again. January 25th,2008 came and still no coveralls.I called them and once again they said they are on back order..now till February. I thought their price for the coveralls was good but it wasn't worth waiting till the end of winter for them. He won't need them in the spring so I canceled my order.
I was never notified at anytime they were on back order until I complained. I had to call them every time to inquire why they had once more not been shipped. They sent me a $10 coupon for my trouble.I guess they want me to sit around for months and wait for another order. No thanks. They will not get any future business from me! |

After approximately 20 days from placing my order I called to check status and was told the item was on backorder. It would have been nice to know that sooner. I then changed my order to something in stock and was given the same price as previous order with "upgraded" shipping. Well, after not hearing from you guys again I call back to get "I'll have to check with shipping". Needless to say I cancelled my order. Now I only hope I get my refund back. THE WORST online experience I have had by far and I will tell anyone interested in this company to steer clear.
