Horrible online shopping experience. Customer service is terrible. Would give 0 star if I can. I bought a Walmart.com gift card in 12/2012. I use it to buy a SKYPE $25.00 e-gift card. They cancelled my online order (address and name matches the order) said my order didn't pass security check. Multiple email to Walmart.com customer service got the robo email reply which absolutely has no explaination on why my order is cancelled. Calling customer service two weeks later said they are still investigating. I would never buy another Walmart.com gift card. I should post all their response and you can decide whether it is worth the trouble. If it is not walmart.com, I would think the company scam my gift card money. I still can't spend my gift card money because my gift card is blocked (check balance in their site shows my balance is correct).

As usual, Goliath has the upper hand. Ordered some DVD's express mail--paid an extra $10 for the speedy delivery. Walmart never bothered to contact me to let me know that the order would probably take up to 10 days. I only found out when I checked to see if it would arrive today (as "guaranteed") It gave me an option to cancel order. After fighting for an hour to talk to a customer rep, she said there was no guarantee I could cancel the order! I said, "You will confirm I ordered it to be delivered today?" "Yes". "You confirm I have the option to cancel?" "Yes but I can't guarantee it will be cancelled." I told her that I was going to cancel it on my credit card. She said, "You do what you have to do." How nice that she cares....! It is very typical that Walmart has an easy way of ordering but it takes an act of Congress to cancel or get help. Walmart has done a great job in eliminating small town, Main Street America. Now that this company is in the driver's seat and on a huge corporate level, good luck everybody!

My husband and I made an order on walmart.com for personalized christmas gifts. After misleading information on walmart.com, we found out, after our order was finalized, that our items were not going to be here before christmas eve. AFter very lenghty phone calls (multiple) with customer service, we found Deon! He was amazing! He made sure we had our presents before christmas eve, and even gave us a compensation with the total price! Its not very often you come across a customer service rep that is respectful, kind, funny, and willing to help. Thanks to Deon, our family members will be opening their gifts christmas morning! Merry Christmas, Deon! Thank you very much!

Walmart would not offer me a replacement because the color of the item I ordered was not available when the item I wanted was still available in a different color. The customer service is horrible. I had the worst experence on an online order thru Walmart.com I never used their web sit before and will never again. I tried ordering two items because of what they advertise on the web. My order was canceled four times on their end for unknown reasons. They claim that I had credit card issues. Not true. I called my credit card companys, yes I say companys because I tried two different credit cards. Both card companys authorized payments and charge me but Walmart.com canceled all four of my orders. I thought something might have been wrong on my end, not the case. What I did find was that they had stated there products with wrong information and maybe I think in addition they under price the items and Walmart.com and tried to pass it off on to me. One of the items was advertise as a 9.7" tablet. After further investigating with other companys I discovered why I couldn't find it anywhere else. Because it was actually a 7" tablet. Buyers be ware. Check their product description if the price seems to good.

i ordered a graco crib with bonus mattress on nov. 15 with an expected sitw to store date of nov. 30. the store received the mattress, but not the crib. a manager said they had to return it but couldnt tell me why. i called walmart.com and they told me the crib was never even delivered to the store and could not provide me with an explanation why. i had to get the crib shipped AGAIN today. very unreliable delivery. will not be using walmart.com again.

I am amazed at how poor the customer service is at walmart.com. I tried to order a bicycle for my son FOUR times. Each time, they canceled the order soon after I placed it. The kicker is that I used three different payment methods (all with available credit lines.) I attempted to call walmart after each order (good luck getting ahold of someone.) Today's conversation with "supervisor" Jessica was the last straw. I can NOT believe that more customers don't defect en masse. It is NOT worth the hastle. Bye bye walmart, I'm sure Target will be happy to have my business.

I ordered a flat screen tv and with extended warranty as a gift on 6/3. I received an email stating that my order had shipped via Fedex on 6/4 and would be delivered between 6/6 and 6/11. Well, it is now 6/14 and still no tv. I got the warranty via email on 6/4. I was sent a tracking number for the Fedex shipment but all the website says is that the shipping information was sent to them. No product shipped yet. ??? I have sent three emails to Walmart customer service but all I get back is a completely useless automated email without the information I need to try and track my order. I am going to just cancel my order , call this a lesson learned and pick up a tv elsewhere. Since they had already charged my credit card I hope there are no issues in getting a chargeback on my credit card.

I placed an order on the site and was told that the item was in stock in my local store and it could be picked up within 4 hours. After placing my order and paying for the item I received an email from them saying it would be delayed for 48 hours to "assure the safety of your financial information." I needed the item today, and if they hadn't lied about it being able to be picked up locally in 4 hours I would have purchased it elsewhere. Now I'm left trying to get my money back for a purchase that I will have no use for if/when they ever bother to actually process the order.

I was able to find what i needed fast and efficently. When i receieved the item it did not work however. I bought a gift card for 200 dollars that was not activated when I bought it. I called up walmart.com on a thursday to try to get it activated and it was escalated to billing. I was never informed of anything Friday. I called Friday after waiting for them to call me to be treated rudely and told it had to be escalated again and that I wouldn't be able to use my cards for 48-72 hours. I paid an extra 20 dollars to get this cards shipped to me quickly so I could use it. I will be asking for a refund. It has been nothing but a horrifying experience over the phone and at the store .

Terrible service if you have an issue. I bought two prepaid Visa gift cards. They arrived the day after the scheduled delivery date not activated. Walnart sends an automatic email to activate the cards once received. I activated them and got a confirmation. Surprise surprise neither works! Send an email to customer service and no help. $400 in gift cards and they don't work nor does Walmart call or send a non-standard answer.... Turning this one over to the BBB and states AG if they aren't working in a few days...

I have purchased a wii console with fitness game bundle online and the price for the game was $15 more expensive than the store, and big lots was selling the same game $20 cheaper.
I tried to exchange for dance 3 game at the store and they said it wasn't doable because it is two different entities, on oposition to what the e-mail that I received saying that I could exchange at the store if the item was available. I received an error when trying to order a camera from the walmart.com site which read "The billing information you provided with the card ending in xxxx does not match your credit card card companys (sic) record. Please verify you have entered your name and address as they appear on your billing statement, and try again." Well, after trying again two times (and my wife trying once), we gave up. We did have the presence of mind to check our bank statement and we realized we had been charged FOUR times for the camera. Terrible. I will never shop on Walmart.com again.

I don't normally buy on-line but last week I ordered a blue ray movie and it was supposed to get here by today the latest. I still haven't received my order and after being on hold for almost 20 min. over the phone, the rep was unable to tell me anything that I couldn't find out on my own. I know the package has already reached my home town but it should have gotten here by yesterday. What kind of service is this???? "Hopefully it will get there by tomorrow" doesn't cut it. This is the LAST TIME walmart gets my business. If you tell someone that their packages will get there at a certain time then make sure they do. Last time I ordered from walmart on-line they shipped my blue ray player in the manufactures box. They couldnt even ship it in a brown shipping box like everyone else.

Wow I was expecting much worse from walmart.com after reading these reviews. My item shipped so fast that it caught me off guard!
I made a purchase for an Xbox360 this Tuesday because I remembered that I had a $20 online gift card from a year ago that I never used. They said that it would take 1-2 days to process and 3-5 business days to ship. I had low expectations so I thought it would come sometime next week or even much later. Walmart finished processing my order on the following day, Wednesday. I got an email from them saying that they had just shipped it on Wednesday night. The very next day in the morning, the Fedex guy dropped off the package at my door. It took only 1 day to ship and I paid for standard shipping! Everything turned out so much better than I thought! Maybe it's because I live in Columbus? I'm not too sure but I'm a very happy camper. |

The bike arrived decently packaged. Assembly included putting the handle bars, front caliper, seat, and front wheel on. I also retightened all bolt and screws just to be on the safe side. After the first break in ride, the derailers required a slight adjustment, but no biggy if you know how, can read instructions or can research youtube.com. The bike for me, fully outfitted (cycle computer, front light system, rear led tail light, air pump, underseat pouch, spare tube and bike tool) weighs in at 35.6 lbs. It rides very smooth and is gear kind of low for climbing, which is great for the trails I ride. At Walmart.com, the bike was $199.00 + tax. Just days after ordering my bike, the price went up $100.00. I don't know that this bike is now worth it. If it had slightly better components or even a choice of frame size, then I'd say it was still an okay deal. For what I paid, it was a good deal. Have fun and ride hard!

Ordered 2 computer monitors on a thursday evening. Paid the extra money to get 1 day shipping. Product shipped out friday. Monday was the 4th so I understand I wouldnt get it that day. Tuesday came and went without a package. Wendsday its still out at 4:30pm for delivery.
I call up about the issue and the 1 day shipping applys to them shipping it out of their door. It still gets shipped ground after the fact. Called about this and they said there is no expedited shipping costs only expedited in there warehouse costs. Wouldnt give me any of the $30 extra I paid. But did let me know it wasnt that busy so if I would have gotten the $7 delivery charge I would still prob be getting my product today. |
