The process for so simple and my contacts arrived very quickly. I did have a minor issue regarding a discontinued product which made my order less than the 8 box requirement for the discount and they gave me the discount anyway. In addition, I found an promo code on-line which took off addition cost plus free shipping. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely recommend this vendor.

The customer service I received was outstanding. I placed my order online and several days later I noticed my order was still pending. I contacted customer service and it was due to waiting for the doctor to verify. A few days later I received notification that my payment didn't go through. I spoke to customer service again and she re-ran the card and said she would email me directly to let me know when the payment was processed so I wouldn't have to keep going back to check on the status. Within a few hours I received an email from her stating the payment was processed and that she was upgrading my shipping to next day delivery. Both times I contacted Vision Direct the customer service has been incredible! Thank you! I plan on shopping here again and would absolutely refer family and friends.

I wouldn't shop here again because i gave you the prescription with the right strength so I don't understand why you need the brand. I like the brand I ordered. If they try and change it on me like they have done in the past I will cancel my order

Uh no, never again

It took three weeks for me to receive my order, customer service was horrible, everything about the experience was sub-par except for the price--which did happen to be the cheapest I could find on the internet for my contact lenses. But it was so not worth the savings of a few bucks. I will never order from these folks again.

Ordering was easy and I received my order in a timely manner. BUT I had a promotion on my order which was suppose to have came to me 7 days after my order was received and today it has been over 3 weeks and I've Still NOT Received that promotion! I've called Vision Direct 4 times in the past 3 weeks! They keep saying the same thing to me; They've resubmitted it and I should have it next week, haha! Well then just this past Wednesday I called again and was told the Same thing again! But within 1 hour I had an email that said I would have my promotion by next Wednesday and they issued me a $10 credit that never expires on my account for my troubles. So we will see if I really get it Next Wednesday which will be 4 weeks I've waited!

Vision direct emailed me 2 days after I submitted my order to say that they needed to verify my order because they thought the script looked altered. When I called to say the date of service was clear and it was a carbon copy that the doctor darkened so that it could be read/faxed better, they would not accept that. I even offered to send a copy of the receipt of the eye exam and the glasses script. All were not acceptable to them and therefore held up my order needlessly. My son needs his contacts and this was a major problem- he had to double wear dailies until they came in. They refunded me my shipping charge- but only after I asked for it. Still debating using them again.

Order was wrong, not their fault, and had to return, which they agreed to. They use a shipping service, not USPS, so couldn't track shipment. Currently 8 days since they've received the returned shipment, still no refund. Sent them a message through their website, 6 days ago, no response. their customer service is NOT GOOD, and will probably not purchase from them again.

I tried vision direct over 1800contacts because of the price and the promotion on acuvue oaysis. I had a pretty bad customer service experience on the phone when my order got canceled and was about to stay away from the company. However I received a email from Katie apologizing and even gave me credit for my next purchase. Even without the credit I would have given vision direct a second chance just because of the apology.

After reading some reviews about dealing with visiondirect, I was hesitant to place an order. But I am glad I did. I place my order on Dec 13th and received it on Dec 17th (2 business days!) without requesting expedite shipment. Their prices were very competitive. Great experience. Will use again!

Poor customer service related to replacement of a damaged contact lens

I recently had a damaged contact lens in an order from VisionDirect. I sent photograph of the damage, the containers etc. to both the company and the manufacturer. Following response from the manufacturer I was told VisionDirect agreed they would replace the damaged lens and was provided a case number to provide if necessary. Because I first contacted VisionDirect from a different email having changed service providers, would not assist due to security requirements. This finally being evolved took about four emails and then another three or four followed to be finally told a single lens could not be replace. Credit only would be applied. This wasted considerable effort and time to evolve an issue with a company that is not worth continuing to do business with. In truth I believe the company giddy not want to resolve the matter.

Wont buy from visiondirect.com again. Wont recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware, be prepared to wait 6 weeks after you payment. Website claims delivery would take 5-11 days, mine was delivered after 6 long weeks!!! Take your business elsewhere and avoid the frustration.

I have not received my order yet and it has been 5 days short of one month to the date since I placed the order and to my knowledge (according to tracking status) no items were out of stock. Contacting customer support has been difficult as the auto-reply emails are a pain and simply a hastle when I have already researched the help section and want to reach a real person on the other end. Then I get an email that says I didn't use the email I have on account so customer service can't respond to my email. I simply hit reply to the email sent to me from customer service. There is nothing wrong with the email I used - it's the only email I have and therefore the only email I have on file at visiondirect.com. I'm simply frustrated and this customer service is getting rediculious!

The first time I used them was fine... Nothing exciting and no problems. Now I am trying toreturn a product due to my prescription had changed they won't returbeavysr cause I wrote R & L in the box.  When I placed my order the Rep told me to write that on the box. So this is very unprofessional! I called to get this figured out, but no one wanted to help :-( They have good prices, but will never buy from here again. I will pay more for good customer service

Very poor customer service!

I updated my address when I placed my second order with Vision Direct and choose to use the new address as both billing and shipping address. However, I got the confirmation email with my old address which I no longer live at as shipping address. I called them right away about the mistake and they insisted it is my mistake. The worst part is they refused to redirect the order to my new address even though it is in the same city and the order won't arrive in the city in 5-10 days as I was told. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen.

I ordered my contacts from a competitor a month back and it took 14 days to get my contacts, even with sending them my prescription. The price seemed high to me as well. So when my husband said he needed more contacts I figured I would shop around.
I placed an order for my husband's contacts on Wednesday and they were in my mail box by Monday morning! Plus, the price was better than that of the competitor that I had previously used. I will definitely be using Vision Direct for all of our contact lens needs in the future! Very happy with their speedy, FREE shipping!!

Since my purchase was at the end of my year, I would have purchased something else if the website had indicated that the item was unavailable. While they thanked me for my feedback, nothing was done to remedy my monetary loss.

Only Use Free Shipping

I recently placed an order for 4 boxes of contact lenses with visiondirect.com.  Rather than use the free shipping, I paid $11.99 for expedited shipping.  It's been practically a week now and I still have not received my order.  Vision Direct may have great deals (20% off your entire order) but please use their free shipping!  I hope to receive my order sometime soon, I elected for the expedited shipping as I really need the contact lenses.  What a disappointment.

VisionDirect sucks!

I am an international customer, was trying to order contacts using my overseas prescription. By law, they have to verify it, so apparently they either did not get through or could not find anybody to speak to them in English at the doctor's office, which issued a prescription . So after almost a month they notified me that they canceled my order, b/c they could not verify it, so in their book it is not valid.
They should just put a note on their website for international customers: do not bother! Get a local prescription instead.
They may be cheap, they might be efficient, haven't had a chance to experience it! Communication skills they have are definitely deficient. Time was lost, and I am very dissatisfied customer!

After researching all of the other top contact lens sellers, Vision Direct was by FAR the cheapest with the new customer coupon code. I ordered on April 11th, and the contacts arrived at my house on April 20th. Even with an order status in the interim of being out of stock and having to "order my lenses from the manufacturer," it still only took 9 days including a weekend. 

All of the contacts were exactly what I ordered and expire in 2015 or 2016, so they're 100% fresh. Based on my experience, I will be recommending these guys wholeheartedly.

EPIC FAILURE!!

This was my first and my last purchase from Vision Direct.  I will NEVER be back.  The customer survice was nonexistant.  Several emails sent to them with no reply other than the auto reply.  The order too for ever to process.  Shipping info was incorrect and had a different tracking numer on the box vs. the shipping info on the website.  

In the future I would rather spent the extra $20 per box to have better service. I WOULD SUGJEST NOT USING VISION DIRECT.

Never purchase from Vision Direct. I have waited for 6 weeks to recieve my sunglasses and the company has been evasive and operators unreachable to confirm the status of my order. I have still not recieved my purchased items despite having the full amount charged to my credit card. I resorted to threatening the company with legal action and have now recieved an undertaking that VD will refund my money. I am not expecting a refund.  AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My order has been mishandled from the start! I placed my order on Nov 30 an I am still waiting. No one takes responsibility and it's a big game of pass the buck. In the mean time I can NOT travel without my lenses and they did not arrive today. My flight is is 24 hrs away..... I have not seen my kids in over a year, and I am desperate!! Ordered 8 boxes of Acuvue Oasys Thursday afternoon, it shipped that night, and I received them the next day. Wise Eyes wanted $235 and 1-800-Contacts wanted $220. With an online coupon code for Vision Direct I found for 25% off, combined with free shipping, with tax my total was $140. And on top of that I got 15 miles per dollar from my credit card company. Definitely gonna order from Vision Direct again next time. The rep who I had called to verify cost, product, shipping with was very helpful.
