I ordered my sunglasses online, 1 week later they arrived to me in Fiji.  I was skeptical at first to order due to online reviews but then my sister in NZ tried the website out - her glasses took along time to arrive but after one month she got them.  After she tried the website successfully I was happy to order from smartbuy glasses and was really suprised and happy when mine turned up only after one week!! 
I am unsure what has happened with the reviewers whos glasses have not turned up - this is worrying that some people have great experiences shopping at this site and others have awful experiences.  My experience was great and I will order from smartbuy again in the future.

It's easy to shop online, but when you need help from customer service because of an issue well, they simply don't care. There email response is also very slow!

I had found frames I liked at an optitian and then ordered my glasses through SmartBuy Glasses.  With my crazy presciption, progressive lenses, all the coatings and whatnot, I usually pay $500+ for glasses.  These were $300 and are perfect.  Absolutely perfect. I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't getting it right the first time!  Would absolutely buy glasses from SmartBuy again.

Great shop ordered glasses came to Russia for 30 days, all perfectly good quality sunglasses, spare set was a gift that very well, cover and cloth for cleaning glasses.

Being from the optical field, I know most high-end eyewear companies would never allow their products to be sold online period, yet alone at these prices.  I would be very cautious that these items are fake and if not, def don't expect any warranty!  Most companies provide their warranty to the dealers whom are purchasing and distributing their frames, not the individual.  Be advised and beware!

The sunglasses were sent in the wrong size, a scratch to one of the lenses and a non genuine Armani Case that did not stay closed. In reply to my complaints, I received many time wasting email replies which bordered on being sarcastic and contradictory. If I had known that "SmartBuyGlasses UK" are based in HONG KONG I would have steered well clear as UK Trading Standards in the UK will not apply to Hong Kong. Non existent customer service but just smarmy emails designed to throw you off track and waste your time. Be advised to avoid these sharks, and I wonder how many of the five star reviews are put up by their very own staff? Still no refund received and I won't be deceived by any smarmy reply from them thanking me for my patiance and feedback.....

I ordered with prescription lens, expecting it to take a long time, as stated 1-3 more working days. Much to my surprise, it was done really quickly and my order was shipped out. The product reached the next day, really speedy service and the quality of the product was not compromised. Very satisfied :)

Stay as far away as you can. I ordered a pair of glasses on the 25th of October - its 10th of December today and im still waiting, as they have messed up the delivery address and sent the glasses somewhere else.. Also according to the tracking info the glasses were sent from HONG KONG, which as far as I remember from geography lessons is not in Italy. So, so much for the authenticity! I have asked for this order to be cancelled and money refunded. Stay away from this company!

I bought a pair of men's Tom Ford Leopold Havana sunglasses.  In my opinion, they are *FAKE*.  The reasons why I think they are fake:

1. The glasses case is the wrong case

2. The Tom Ford brand name on the glasses case is pressed and not embossed in gold

3. The glasses do not come with the Tom Ford branded glasses cleaner

4. The frames are twisted.  They don't sit right.  I put them on, looked in the mirror and they sat really crookedly.  I took them off and had a look, the frame is really obviously twisted.  This would not have passed Tom Ford Quality Assurance tests and/or they would never  have been manufactured by Tom Ford with a fault...  

Before you suggest that they were damaged in transit, they are so twisted, there's no way they could twist this much without them breaking.  Also, the were packed really well in multiple boxes and well protected.

Ray-Ban aviators were good quality. Got prescription lens so the 'Ray-Ban' logo didn't appear on the lens. This was the disappointment though.

Good quality, good product, delivery on time, full service support. Buying at Smart was a wise decision. Ideally you should focus owhether stuff that is available for short time delivery, once you do that you will get your product very soon.

Excellent service - I will certainly recommend SmartBuy Glasses Online Store to all my friends and family. I ordered a pair of Ray Ban Justin 710/13 Sunglasses - coloured Matt Havana, on Sunday 14/10/12 and the notice of delivery was at my door on Friday 19/10/12 - I was able to collect them from the FedEx office on Saturday morning - If I had been home on Friday that would have been 5 days from ordering which is very impressive. I was kept up to date with my order every step of the way with emails & parcel tracking numbers.  I was quite nervous ordering sunglasses on line as I was unable to try them on before purchasing but they were exactly what I saw from the picture, as well as the colour. The cost was approximately what I could have bought at a local shop but being able to shop from my home with no hassle is very important to me as I work full time,  so thank you thank you, fabulous service. I had a good experience with this company, the ones I wanted first weren't in stock and neither were my second choice, but my third choice were so about a week later I got them. They arrived in perfect condition no problems, and I got a partial refund for the price difference from my first choice. Great helpful customer service and good deals.

Huge selection, huge savings and reasonably quick shipping.

Ordered pair of D&G glasses Nov 30, arrived Oct 16.  Considering they shipped from Hong Kong via overnight Fedex, I think that was pretty good... saving $300 over the cost at Costco is even better.

I'm really satisfied of quality, condition and method of shipping. Shipping from Hong Kong to Ukraine for free is really exclusive. I looked for this item on different web sites and I could find the better offer. Everywhere is more expansive and takes shipping charges in amount of ~ $ 40,0, plus packing is worse than yours, plus present from your side that is so sweet to receive too.

SmartBuy's selection of designer eyewear is outstanding, and their prices are very competetive.  My choice was unfortunately not a "fast shipping" item, so I can't speak to what "fast" implies.  I do hope, however, that it's faster than the month plus I waited for my order!  Customer service was helpful enough, but couldn't manage a firm delivery date. I will say that I am pleased with my purchase; the fit and finish are excellent - what you would expect from glasses that cost considerably more.  My experience on the whole was quite satisfactory, and I'll gladly give SmartBuy a second chance to prove themselves.

Overall, very bad experience.
 I have been waiting for my Ray Ban RX5092-2O34 C - size 50  glasses since June 7th 2012 (4 months and counting). Smartbuyglasses have given me countless excuses and numerous incoherent reasons why they cannot provide me with my glasses. Caveat emptor, very unprofessional online service, in addition, no contact phone number to reach them and their management refuses to acknowledge me by telephone!

 I must say I am more than happy with the prescription glasses I received last week.  I was a bit concerned after reading some of the negative reviews, however I need not have worried.  The delivery was a little longer than expected, but worth the wait. Very pleased with the quality of the glasses, the price I paid and customer service in reply to my emails.  Will return and purchase future glasses from this company

I placed an order with SmartBuy Glasses at the end of April (just frames).  My credit card was promptly charged and the status of my order read "stock confirmed".  After 3 weeks, I contacted customer service to ask what was up.  I was told that the frames should ship within 10 days.  Another month passed, another email sent to customer service, and they offered me a discount for being patient.  Still no frames.  Finally, after more 16 weeks of waiting,  I asked for my money back.  First they tried to get me to choose some "fast shipping" alternate frames, but they finally refunded my money.  Besides being charged before the frames were even shipped, I think what bothered me most is that they never contacted me about the delay (despite language on their site to the contrary).  I always had to contact them.  I'm going back to Framesdirect.com

Horrible refund service. I ordered a pair of prescription glasses, waited quite a long time for them to arrive and after I picked them up from DHL, I decided to return them. I contacted the refund department with Smartbuy.ca, and they said someone would contact me within 24 hours. No response after that. I contacted them again, and I was only given the link to the return policy, which I had already read and filled out the form, but no return address. I emailed 2 more times asking for the refund address and no response AT ALL despite the promise of 24 hour service. Now I have until this Tuesday to have them returned or they are past the deadline of 7 days, which the company states on their website. This is despite a total of 4 emails from me stating I wanted a return starting the day I received them. This company promises you so much and in the end they won't take them back. I am out $258 dollars now. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
