Cheating thieves!

This was my last purchase at ShoeBuy. I accidentally ordered a pair of shoes at their Special Events site, not noticing that this was a final purchase: no returns or exchanges possible. I never buy anything I cannot return, especially shoes. I tried to cancel the order right away calling the Customer Service. They put me on hold for about 2 hours! I also emailed the customer service with the cancellation request almost right away. Mind it, the customer service rep really tried to help and cancel the order before it was processed, but she failed. They processed the order a bit too fast. It usually takes them a few days, but I guess, this time they were really motivated to sell something people cannot return. This company believes in getting their bucks no matter what. It does not value the customers' opinion. It is going to lose the customer.

left empty handed at Christmas

i ordered slippers on 12/10. 10 days later, and 4 days before christmas, i received an email that shoebuy.com cancelled my order. they did not offer suggestions to replace the item, no apologies, no prior communication. when i called customer service, they were not helpful in selecting a replacement, i had to find a new item. when i asked for free shipping as compensation for the late cancellation, they declined. then i was told the item would take 2 weeks to ship. at that point our transaction ended.

Shoebuy sent the shoes to the wrong address and refused to refund my money. I am now out over $100 and still don't have new shoes. Do yourself a favor and purchase your shoes from a more honest company than this. I contacted their customer service department with my complaint, and they said they had gotten the address from paypal, unfortunately I had moved away from that address several years ago, and had entered the correct current shipping address on shoebuy.com's web portal. No idea why shoebuy pulled this outdated shipping address as none of the 50 or so other purchases I've made with paypal since moving had this issue. Shoebuy has since placed the blame on UPS, on PAYPAL, and on me, but refuses to take any responsibility for this problem even though it is their processes that caused this problem. This company screwed me out of my money. If you're thinking of buying shoes from shoebuy, just throw a hundred dollars in the toilet, kick yourself in the nuts, and call yourself a liar. Atleast it will be quicker than trying to place an order with them and go through their customer service department.

I ordered the same merchandise twice and today got the same thing, wrong size....The second time, I called to place the order to make sure they had the right size and spoke to Chantel and was guaranteed I would get the right size, but I didn't. I am tired of doing your job, repacking and going to ups to mail it back to you, so I will give them to someone that can wear them, but I got coned again....not anymore.....I should get a full refund for all the work and problems I have gone through with you people............

Terrible Customer Service - Don't Do It!

PLEASE Do not even think about ordering from them!  I attempted to place an order for 10+ pair of shoes and they kept telling me my card was declined.  However, when I called the credit card company I was told that the orders were approved and were in fact on my pending charges.  I called shoebuy, who again said my card was declined and would not ship my order.  After 3 attempts to get them to clear the pending charges off my credit card, I finally asked my credit card company to clear it.  They may have had good prices, but they have terrible service!

I ordered shoes on Black Friday.  I got a great deal but they never came.  I checked my shipping status and they were delivered and signed for in another state.  I emailed customer service and they never responded.  I called shoebuy and the customer service guy didn't know what happened so he set up for UPS to contact me.  They never did so I emailed shoebuy 2 days later and they never responded (again).  I called a few days after that and this customer service guy said they were shipped back to the manufacturer for damage and he set up to send me new shoes.  He was going to refund me and reship and recharge with a little extra off.  My credit card did not show the correct billing or refunds so I called again and a girl said it looked right in their system and to give it another day.  A few days later my credit card was correct but I did not get the extra money off I was told I would get.  In the end it all worked out but what a process.  Not worth it!

I purchase a pair of Spira shoes for $98.00 for my Mom for Christmas which took a long time while to arrive, when they did arrive I tried them on for 2 min to see if they would fit her. The wide would have been to narrow for her so I packaged them back up and sent them back.  Two weeks later I call to see where the refund was and they to me that they were dirty and had been worn.  So I am not getting a return.  I will nerver order from Shoebuy.com again next time I will go through Online shoes.

"This is one of the worst places for reliability on recieving what is ordered. 2 pairs of shoes were ordered on cyber Monday. One as a Christmas Gift. The problems began a week after.
1. There were extra charges on my credit card, shoebuy said it was an error in the system and it would clear. Shipping would take a little longer since they go through other wareshouses.
2. December 10 I recieve a confirmation of shipment of one item and they cancelled my other (the gift).
3. I scrambled to find another retailer for the same gift, found it cheaper and was sent within 3 days.
4. December 17 still hadn't recieved the product. Shoebuy said that it would take up to 8 days to track. Called my credit card and put a dispute on it.
5. 24 December the shipment or followup still has not been recieved from shoebuy.
Spoke with a Ronald and Stephanie in the two calls with shoebuy."

Hard to deal with but not impossible

I ordered a pair of Nevados Cumberland 11.5 M in Tyre Grey, when they came I tried 1 on and it was at least a size and a half too small, I returned them per their instructions immediately and was told they would ship a larger pair in exchange and would notify me of shipment. several days passed after they received the shoes via ups, and no word from them, they ignore my emails and hang up on my calls. do not do business with them they are fraudulent and their guarantee means nothing. I finally got through by phone to them and they claimed they shipped them back to me but had no tracking # or proof of shipment, they also claimed shoes had been worn which is a lie, one shoe was tried on and didn't fit, I returned them unworn immediately.

After being contacted by the Better Business bureau Shoebuy refunded my money.

Being the fist time I had purchased from your company.I become a little nervouse. On your order confirmation you emailed me, its states the following "> Shoebuy.com ships international orders within 2-5 business days. General delivery time is 3-14 business days for receipt outside the continental United States. So it became a little confusing expecting shipment after 2- 5 business days, however when you click in international order it states a longer period of up to 14 busines days. It also states that money is not taken on your end until the order is ready for dispatch, again this made me nervouse as money was taken immediately before this actually happened.. I receievd the goods in perfect condition with thanks.. However for a first time shopper due to contradicting info.. you made me very nervous.!!! Aparently, the Private Events division of Shoebuy.com has a different return policy than the regular site, only taking back items within 30 days of purchase rather than 60. In addition, they do not seem to answer their emails or respond to web inquiries. I recently purchased something that didn't fit properly, and contacted them 6 weeks later (my delay was due to a travel schedule). They did not respond to my first or second emails nor my web inquiry but when I called today, they said that they did send one  response and will not take the return.

I am surprised that they have such an inadequate customer service policy and also that they are so short sighted with it comes to the lifetime value of a customer.

Buy shoes anywhere online but not from Shoebuy!   I had to return a pair of shoes that were not true to size (ran small) and was charged a hidden $6.95 restocking fee, they wouldn't even do an exchange.  So, with shipping $3.99 + restock fee $6.95 it cost $10.94 to try on a pair of shoes.  To top it all off, they sent an email stating they had received the returned item and sent a refund to PayPal for the $34.98 original purchase amount.  Stick to the sites that clearly state their policy - there are many out there that don't even charge for shipping.
