I am very VERY disappointed.
Now have to wait for a left arm to be delivered to me.

Bad experience. I ordered an item. It says "in stock" and the order goes through. A few days later they call me to tell me that they do not have the item but think they can get one from the manufacturer by the end of the month ( today is the 6th). I tell them I don't want it in that case and they need to cancel the order. I just now looked at the website and the item is still listed "in stock" and can be added to the cart even though they are clearly aware they do not have the item. If they attempt to finalize my charge I am going to stop payment. In any even it's at least a hassle because now I have to wait for the pending charge to go away so I can order from somewhere else. I am also dubious about whether a company that advertises and sell items they do not actually have is going to bungle canceling and refunding this order.

I've ordered twice from OfficeFurniture2Go.com. I regret spending any money here. With my first order, my desk took nearly two months to arrive, after it was first delivered broken. They did repair the desk acceptably.
My second order was "delivered" by the truck driver, who left 850lbs of my new furniture on a skid on the curb in front of my office building. Even though my first order came with in-office delivery and setup, this order came with leave-it-on-the-curb-and-handle-it-yourself quality, although I had selected the same delivery type each time. My advice is to stay as far away from OfficeFurniture2go.com as you can. I can only imagine that the entire collection of http://2go.com/ sites operates in the same, amateur manner. Ordered a fairly expensive set. They missed the delivery date. Completely ignoreded service request sent via e-mail they recommend using for this type of requests. Conformation e-mail for the order does NOT list customer service # to call.
When I called, they could not even tell me if my order has shipped at all (they have no concept about logostics and being able to track an order with manufacturers/warehouses). The person on the phone spoke unprofessionally and could not provide any information whatsoever about the status of my order. When I asked to cancel, she stated I cannot cancel because she does nto know if order has shipped. Plain rediculous. I have been promised a phone call with the status tomorrow. |
