The discriptive information of the sale clearly stated that the delivery driver would place the Safe (shipping weight 117 lbs.) inside my residence. However the FedEx Ground driver was a young woman of slight build who in no way could have done that! Fortunately, my Grandson was visiting at the time and between the two of them the Safe was placed in my home utility room. I called Office Furniture & spoke with a Rep. who offered me a $40.00 rebate, which I accepted. I suggest they re-word the info given, otherwise 82 year old customers like myself will have to refuse delivery. Also, after unboxing the safe, I found the right rear corner damaged as though dropped before being boxed ... this damage I ignored.

Excellent prices, and free shipping to curb. Although I paid more for in-house delivery, the total was still far less than a local store. This was a build-it-yourself desk, and 5 pieces were severely damaged, but I believe it to be the fault of the trucking company. OfficeFurniture.com quickly replaced the 5 pieces. I am very pleased with my purchase in all aspects.

In short, the bookcase from the Sauder product line was fantastic quality for the price and materials used. However, after recieving two defective desks in the South Shore line, we had to settle on a refund. The first desk was wrong color and multiple pieces were fractured, the second desk had laminate peeling off on multiple pieces and water damage (which appeared to occur in warehouse BEFORE packaging as the box showed absolutely no evidence of water damage). I really would not be surprised to see South Shore furniture go out of business, and I think Officefurniture.com and other sites would be wise to drop that particular line from distribution. As far as OfficeFurniture.com's customer service, their National Business Furniture customer care reps really made their best efforts to resolve this problem for us. The customer service representative Marcel Berg was greatly helpful throughout the process. We were able to communicate through e-mail which was easier for me, as most days I am on the phone for business. In the end we wound up with one great bookcase, a rebate for the deskfail, and 2 piles of wood which I must now dump someplace. I would probably shop with the website again, I just won't ever buy South Shore products from anyone.

Very satisfied with ordering process, customer service and delivery. Prices are competitive and service outstanding. I first orderewd from them based on other customer reviews and BBB rating A . Other online merchants with comparable prices had a lot of negative comments. Minor problems (with manufacturer, not seller, were dealt with and rectified extremely promptly.

Bookcases were exactly as expected since I ordered natural wood veneer instead of a cheaper finish. One bookcase was all wood with no particle board base(upgrade) and again it was exactly as I was hoping for, lighter weight and great natural oak veneer. I greatly appreciate the accuracy and honesty of your product descriptions ! During delivery was well informed via email and the date and time was no surprise as a result. The cost to send the item to me (Alaska) was the same price as the item itself. I order from several merchants outside Alaska and never has my shipping cost me the amount of my order. I was shocked! I found the person on the other end of the line very pleasant and understanding as I cancelled my order and expressed regret that this was a vendor I wouldn't be ordering from. Great stock; poor shipping practices.

Product is of good quality. Directions were appropriately thorough. Large top piece of furniture came damaged and unusable. New piece was sent without question but did hold up completion of assembly by nearly a week.

The book shelve was very poor quality. It has large scratches and places where it has pulled away. I was extremely disatisfied. However, it is so large and so heavy that it is WAY too inconvenient to request a new one. It was package extremely well, so it had to have been that way when it was packaged up. Products were poorly packaged (just cardboard next to the wood; no other protective packing materials).Even though the boxes were not damaged, there were several gouges that must have been caused during storage and handling at their warehouse. I called to complain and was given $40 off my order. This problem could have been prevented with better packaging.
