Boarderline fraudulent!

I ordered a JXD S5300 from NewEgg.com on Dec 1st, the delivery time was 5-15 days, but arrived on Dec 26th.  My son used his new hand held game system for two weeks when the software glitched out.  I contacted NewEgg and was told that their 30day return policy is from the invoice date, aka the order date, and they would not be providing a refund or exchange.  It’s bad enough when you can’t get your delivery dates right, it’s really bad when you miss the delivery date by 90%, and you subtract the shipping time from the RMA policy.  I will never order from NewEgg again, and I don’t see how Google can promote them as a trusted partner.  I guess you can’t trust google either.  I should of stuck with Amazon, at least they have had my back when it comes to returns.

On Black Friday I bought two of Polk 65T speakers with a $50 rebate each. But a fine print on a rebate form said that you can submit only one rebate form a household, so instead $100 rebate you can get only $50. In what universe somebody buys only one speaker? Some MONO enthusiasts? What a clever scheme!

reselling returned goods?

Received the item on time. After opened the box, found the inner packing container box of the mini-computer was crumbled and torn and cracks every corner, looked like repacked with crushed packing picked up from recycling bin. Worried about the quality of the mini-computer and so I tested it right away. The computer worked fine and the outside of the computer looked clean. I complained to Newegg about the packing material. They asked for photos, I sent photos of the box at every angle showing the inner torn box (noted that the outer packing box was in prefect shape). Two weeks later, they sent me an email notifying me my Newegg account had been suspended, without any explanation. What a move! Well, I didn't plan to buy again from them so I don't mind. But still a bit furious about this kind of response. Need to alert others.

Restocking Fee is Unfair

We purchased a modem from Newegg.com but it turned out to be the wrong type.  When we returned it, we had to pay the shipping costs which was fine.  However, Newegg.com also required that we pay a 15% "restocking fee" which is flat out extortion and ridiculous.   I will not order products from Newegg.com again unless I am 100% confident that I won't have to return them.

I made a purchase of a external unit at newegg recently.
They shipped me a used/return item(item came with out shine wrapping, there is dust everywhere)
I requested for a refund, they charged me $18 dollar to ship it back and 22.50 for restocking fee.

At the end of the day, I WASTED 1 week of time and short of $40+ dollar.

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

A sorry excuse for a company

This company is a nightmare. I ordered a refurbished GE X600 digital camera from them and the wrong color was wrong, there was one part missing, and the LCD screen was damaged. I had asked for a replacement, but after several days they decided they don't have any more of that camera, so they sent me a refund. But they're so stupid they screwed that up too and didn't issue a refund for the extended warranty I got with it. It will be a miracle if they actually refund a single penny. This company should be out of business.

Newegg refused to give refunds

I ordered a few video games from Newegg. I changed my mind because the price went down, so I requested to return these games unopened for full refund. Newegg normally did not accept return on these games, but the rep made an exception and would give me a full refund and Newegg would pay for return shipping. This conversation was saved on a chat log.

So I returned these sealed, unopened games. Then Newegg sent me an e-mail stating that these games were all opened. I called Newegg and stated that I never opened these games and yet Newegg refused to give me refund. Eventually, Newegg returned the games to me.

I opened a chargeback with my credit card because I never opened these games. Now, my account is suspended at Newegg, and I can no longer buy anything from Newegg until I dropped the chargeback.

Thanks a lot, Newegg. I will definitely file complaints for your shaddy business practice.

Terrible mistake NEVER AGAIN

I purchased what i thought was a great deal on newegg.com and am sorely disappointed and out $1k... I bout a tv from them and they sent it to me broken i opened it within 30 days of recieving it and was told that it was out of the 30 day window because the timer starts when they get their money not when you get the product!! Then i told them that i had purchased the protection insurance and they told me its still not covered after paying all that money for the tv and the insurance!!! Costumer service told me they would figure something out and would return my call with a solution 4 weeks went by with me trying to contact them and they blew me off until i posted negative reviews online and they got back to me after having it removed and told me im screwed!! trust me go to tiger direct or to a local tv store!!

Wow.. I will simply never use newegg ever again. I placed an order for about $13k in products, some orders got cancelled because of qty limits even though not on sale, orders were split into random orders, and they decided to send whatever they felt n
Like not canceling! Unbelievable, called the customer service and they could careless!

I would not recommend them nor ever use them again. Amazon was cheaper but I figured I pay littlenit more but get it all at one place, i cancelled all my orders and will be going through amazon now..

I bought computer parts to make my build . When I got my parts,they sent
me the wrong parts. I called ,and they told me to send it back.I did and waited 10 days . I got my refund ,and now I just found out my motherboard is defctive. I guess I have to wait another 10 days.

Bad, bad experience with unlocked cell phone purchase

Bad, bad experience.

The unlocked phone does not function as they claimed.
I recently purchased an unlocked cell phone from Newegg. After 2 weeks' usage in overseas trip, the phone gets locked again.

Newegg customer service can not fix the problem.
I reported the problem to Newegg after I return from overseas trip. They directed me to manufacturer's help number, the original carrier's help number and dealer. But none of them can fix the problem.

Newegg customer service refuses to replace or refund the product.
Since I was traveling overseas, I could not call Newegg's 800 number to report the problem even the problem occured within 30 days after purchase. After I return, I called them. But they said that it is 45 days so they can not return the product.

If Newegg can not stand by the product it sells, why does it sell the product and why shall we purchase the product?

Total Rip Off, Poor Service

Bought a software in Dec 12, came scratched and I was unable to installed. Followed their RMA and shipped the software back for a full refund as I picked another one locally. They refused to refund me and refused to send a replacement stating the product was out of warranty! I had the software for 2 days! This is bad service, they dont stand by their merchandise and I feel that they stole my money. I will never buy from them again. To top it off, they closed my account because I filed a dispute with my credit card, total intimidation of their customers.

"I sent a defective defective board back to Newegg but they rejected my RMA because I had had removed the UPC tag in order to fulfill the Rebate requirement. They said I should talk to the manufacturer to see if they could help. 
They shipped it back to me but inside the perfect shipping box the mother board was smashed and it wasn't even in it's antistatic bag.
I called customer service with proof that the damage was done on their watch and I was promised an answer the next business day.
Two days later I call again and was told they have no record of me calling them.
This time they say they rejected the RMA because the board was smashed.
I explained that I have proof the damage happened on their watch and once again the customer service rep said they would email with an answer.
I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling about this.
After all these years as a loyal customer I would hate to end our business relationship like this.

Newegg - Not What They Used To Be

Newegg used to be THE place to go for computer parts. They also had the lowest prices and shipping was unbelievably fast. Lately they've really gone downhill. Apparently they want to punish customers for choosing free shipping, because their shipping times are atrocious. I recently ordered parts from a couple of different websites in order to build a new PC. The parts from Newegg took 2-3 days longer to arrive than from any other business. In addition, the memory stick I ordered from Newegg was faulty. They sent a replacement which was ALSO faulty and I had to send it all the way across the country to their returns center. In total, it took almost 3 weeks to finally get a working stick of memory.

Also, I made some purchases on Black Friday of this year and once again Newegg was the slowest shipper by far. My Newegg order took almost 2 weeks to arrive, despite shipping from a state that borders mine. Ridiculous. I no longer recommend Newegg to friends and coworkers, and will be making future purchases from superior sites like Tiger Direct and Amazon. Sorry Newegg, but you lost a long-time customer in your quest for profit.

Used to buy quite a bit from newegg, both personally and for business. My last experience has changed that. They sell 3rd party items but won't stand behind what they sell. Once you click the buy button newegg washes their hands of you and any responsibility in the transaction. You can't even cancel the order through newegg. I refuse to do business with them in the future.

Terrible customer service policies

I purchased a highly rated (Consumer Reports #1 reccommendation) laptop from Newegg. It did not work correctly from the moment I turned it on - I even had to reformat the HD the first day I purchased it. They said it just needed repair, 2 service warranties and 3 HD reformats later (leaving me without a computer 3 out of the 7 weeks I owned it), I determined I had received a lemon computer. However, Newegg refused to work with me and would not accept the item for return even with all the documented difficulties I had with the computer. I ended up filing a grievance with my credit card company and the dispute investigation was awarded in my favor. I will never purchase anything from Newegg again. If the product had worked, it may have been fine, but their customer service policies were miserable.

Extremely dissapointed

I have been using Newegg for over 5 -7 years now and the items I received always worked. Last time I purchased the MB and it did not boot up on arrival. I shipped it back for replacement... They established that PCIe clip is missing on the MB and they are not going to replace it because they do not have all the parts now.

I am like, take the new MB, keep the clip and ship me the rest. I am not planning on using PCI slot on the MB.

I am extremely dissapointed. All that positive Newegg image is a fake. The 18 awards stood for nothing, when it came to replacing a faulty $50 item! Buy at your own risk. If you receive a non-working item, it is likely to be your loss.

Worst customer service ever.

Item was received defective. Newegg.com refused to replace, and wanted to charge a 15% restocking fee *for a defective item*.

I talked to at least a half dozen reps over the course of 3 hours, all but one of whom was not worth the air space s/he occupied. They made me call the manufacturer and get a return authorization from HP before they would even talk to me, and then they wouldn't ship a replacement: they wanted me to trust them and place a second order, or they would treat it as a return with a 15% restocking fee.

Do not, ever, order from Newegg.com, because maybe if there are no problems you'll be fine -- but if there are problems, their customer service is by far the worst of the dozens of vendors with which I've done business.

Use ProVantage -- they charge a bit more for shipping, but I have had no problems in 8 years of dealing with them.

I never had a problem ordering electronics from newegg in the past until recently. I bought a laptop awhile back with no issues but I recently tried to purchase another laptop and the customer service was terrible so I cancelled the order. It's obvious Customer service is definetly becoming an issue with this company. I will never pruchase anything from them again.
