Handle Sets.com

I originally posted a negative review about Handlesets.com and Build.com based on an experience in which Handlesets.com cancelled an order about 1 week after it had been placed. I had no warning that would happen, as it was a phone order, and I was told they were in stock. Apparently, Handleset's distributor had set a higher minimum order for Handleset.com.


Today, I spoke with a different person in customer services at Handlesets.com. She understood the problem that the cancellation caused for me and my client and was able to get an exception to the minimum order requirement of their distributor.
 
Although the delay is an annoyance, I am more than pleased with the added effort and follow-up by customer service at Handlesets.com.


Life is not without problems. What is important is how problems are solved. And in that regard, I have changed my opinion of Handlesets.com to a recommend.

I ordered a door knocker and received an email confirmation that the item was on backorder. Within a week the item was shipped and was received a day early in excellent condition. I recommend this site for convenience and great prices.

The levers are lovely and substantial and arrived promptly and in good order. Also, the company was careful to check with me on a question they had about my order, which I appreciated.

They had what I wanted, I ordered it, and it was delivered on time as I expected it. It doesn't get any better than that IMHO.
