My credit card info was stolen by an Apple Employee

12 Dec. I made a purchase at the local Apple store, my card transaction was processed by the store employee on an iphone. Less than 8 hours later my bank had to put a stop on my card because of Unauthorized online purchases from Gamestop.com and Walmart.com Since I had not used this card for 6 days prior to this purchase I am fairly certain it was an employee of the Apple Store who made these purchases. Since the purchases were made online the bank has initiated an investigation and hopefully this scumbag will go to jail.
Apple has not replied to my inquires. |

ipod 4th generation purchased on 07-31-12, guess after update software on 09-23-12, now the battery only good for 5mins. Will not charge on my laptop, even the wall charger. Went to Hillsdale...no customer service focus...that I need to make appt due to iphone5 (who cares).
Why spent so much on the item they can't even assist other customer needs...... Never again...just lost a customer will relay message to friends and family,,,they also having problem..... |

Apple has done it again, just bought a mac book pro a few weeks ago, got my $100 gift card but I can not and will not be able to use it for merchandise on the apple store even though I specifically asked if I could do that, the salesperson positively reply with a "Yes you can use it as long as it is with-in a purchase with apple directly there is no problem" but that info was wrong. No, you can not use it for merchandise, you can only use it on Itunes accnt and that is it bottom line. I should of read the back of the card it is my fault too for not doing that, ohhh and did I mention the store manager would not put his face on the phone, they don't care about unsatisfied customers as long as they make the sale it is what matters, I hope he reads my review. this is my personal review hopes it helps you choose the right store. I visited the store in Emerville CA USA.

I am not sure what was worse, the "hocus pocus" mathematics applied to a false discount or the fact that they actually CHARGED US TWICE for their "apple care" insurance. I bought a fully researched MacBook Pro and got MacCHEATED PRO!
Do NOT purchase anything from this CROOK website!!! Go to best buy or another electronics retailer and VIEW the product first. Have the product in hand and be sure to get a double copy of the receipt. Make sure that you understand EVERY detail and charge that they list. PAY with CASH if possible! |

If there was an ihate apple store Facebook page I would friend it. Nothing about it was easy. Four hours and nasty customer service. Was thinking about buying a Mac. Glad I bought an Ipad first. After my experience there nothing is worth that torture.I had the unfortunate experience to have to walk in the apple store in leawood, Kansas. I would rather pull my eyelashes out than ever go there again. I was really excited to get a Mac. not anymore. PC for me.

I wanted to speak to a person about my iphone4 that I need to bring into the store for repairs but there is NO WAY to do that. The automated system tells you that it is connecting you to a person and then hangs up on you. It did this 4 times until I gave up!

Bought my daughter refurbished Ipod Nano. Recently the screen started to flicker and within a week ,the screen could not be seen. I sent it back for repair as it was under warranty. I just got an email saying they would not repair it as it has been damaged misuse!! Not happy. What is the point of a warranty. My daughter is without an ipod and only had it for 8 months. She is very upset.

BUYER BE WARNED! I suggest everyone check their credit card bill! It appears as though the Apple Store charges everyone the total on the receipt, and then goes back 10 seconds later, and charges an additional penny. I know this is not a lot of money, but they are making millions off of their unsuspecting customers. When I called to ask why, after every purchase we made, they charged us an additional penny, they said that "the tax was off by a penny". This is the only company that I know of that is always off on their estimate taxes by a penny, or even off at all. Amazon, Overstock, EBay, and all other big companies’ computers can seem to get the taxes right the first time. I do not see them coming back charging more after the purchase because "the taxes were off" .

Ordered 9 iPads online for Christmas and was lured to buy online becuase of the Free Shipping and Gift Wrapping. I wrote my cards and placed my order.... Very Easy.
Package came a week later with NO giftwrapping and no cards anywhere. When I called Apple to express my frustration, they just said sorry to bad. You'd think after spending $6700 they would at least do something for me.... Nope |

I ordered a Apple iPad when the iPad has just come out. I called the Apple and the rep told me that it would take 14 days for it to arrive. It came in 10. I am happy with the iPad itself and its functionality. The apple store kept me informed along the way of the status of my order as well. I am happy with the service.

I was really surprised to read these awful Apple.com reviews. My experience with Apple.com was wonderful!
I didn't have to search out the rarely seen Best Buy employee. I did not have to inconvenience the teenage employee by asking them to unlock a case. And I didn't have to wait in a slow-moving checkout line or watch some cashier chomp her gum or listen to her chit-chat with another employee. Instead, I conveniently placed my order from home. The site's pages did not time out. It was super easy to navigate and I even got FREE engraving on my son's iPod video that I gave him for his 19th birthday. To my shock, I had the iPod in hand in just a few days. Now that is service! |

My girlfriend and I went to the genius bar at the Menlo Park Apple Store to repair her yellowed Macbook. They did the job, but left an internal mark on the screen. When we went back asking them to repair the damaged screen that they damaged, they refused stating the damage (that they did) was cosmetic and not under warranty. They guy (Carlos) acted like a complete jerk and basically resembled an overbloated computer repair guy from that skit from Saturday Night Live... We complained to the 23 year old store manager to no avail. He told us to contact Apple directly to pursue it further. I recommend you stay away from Menlo Park Apple for any kind of servicing.

the other day i ordered an iMac and also payed $45 extra for overnight shipping. It has been 5 days and i have not recieved it yet. I have called apple twice to check on it, and i was given attitude about being impatient. This store is a mess, hopefully the items are nicer then them. It will be weeks by the time by iMac finally gets delvered!

I ordered the new ipod shuffle about a week before Christmas, and got it in within 3 days. The packaging was great; there wasn't any signs of damage on the ipod. This was my second purchase through the apple store, and I've been extremely pleased with the Apple customer service for both.

Up till now I had full confidence in anything with the apple logo on it, but it saddens me to say that I found a crack in their service. That Crack can be sumorized by one word: Sameday!
My waiting for my new Imac to arrive has ended quite badly and is now assumed missing in action. Sameday rightoway, the shipping company used by apple to ship orders in Canada has done the most incredibly incompetent job I have ever seen. Late tracking information, horrible customer service and not even being able to tell me which truck and in what direction the package was going. On a good note, apple has re-opened my order and is resending it with express courier FedEx at not charge, They where increadibly helpfull and are doing all they can to get me my computer as fast as possible. All I ask is that they stop doing business with Sameday Rightoway. It is surely hurting their image. |

Lousy service. As a school, we filled out paperwork to get an account set up so we could order. They only approved our credit for $1000, but they didn't bother to tell us that -- they just said "you are approved," so we placed a $78K order which they didn't bother to ship and didn't bother to tell us why they weren't shipping. After a month, they shipped one item that cost less than $1K, and I guess they were going to wait until we paid that to ship the next one? We called - they said "pay up front," so we did. They have now had our money for a month and were then saying we'd have our computers within 30 days after that. Guess what? Got an email at the end of that 30 day period that says "another 2 weeks." I am so frustrated at their service department and their demands. How are we supposed to teach a computer class without computers? and what school doesn't pay their bills that we have to so punished?

I've had numerous problems with the Apple Store online. First, I received a gift purchased there, and got run-around by customer service on the phone who would not let me return the item, though I had a receipt. Their alternative was to issue a credit back to the person who bought me the gift, then have me ask that person to buy me something else, which isn't exactly an option! Finally, I took the item to a physical apple store in the mall and was able to get return the item and get a gift-card instead.
The online store also has a poor technical layout (pages "time out" very quickly), higher prices than other places, and the issues with customer service remain. If I didn't have this gift-card, I wouldn't bother shopping with them again. Just go to amazon.com. You'd get better prices, free shipping on $25, not $50 as with Apple, good customer service, and easy returns. |

I had reviewed the Apple website and had decided to switch from windows. After filling out all the items I wanted to buy, and utilizing the Federal government employee side of the site, I made my purchase and upon checking out only found out that Apple will NOT ship to APO/FPO addresses.
WHEN ARE MAJOR MANUFACTURES AND CHAIN STORES GOING TO WAKE UP AND REALIZE THAT ALL--REPEAT ALL APO/FPO ADDRESSES ARE SERVICED BY THE US POSTAL SERVICE. THE MAIL NEVER TOUCHES FOREIGN HANDS. I have been buying small items from the local Apple store for a couple of years (software upgrades, cables, iPod, Sound stuff etc.) and I have always found the help intelligent and reasonably knowledgeable, and most importantly if they didn't know, they went and found out! rather than making up some fabled tale I have owned my Mac G4 for three years which I bought privately. Last week, I bought an iBook and found the same efficient staff. While waiting to have some extra RAM installed in the iBook, I was over trying out a G5 and had an excellent conversation with an Apple employee who new something about Photoshop and got some great hints on some workflow refinements. Just an all round great store. (The computers are pretty nice as well).
