Great Prices BUT NOT worth it!

Great pricing on most everything they carry, BUT (and that's a big but) perhaps the worst shipping and delays. Poor customer service. Returns are not a fun thing (slow response and large fees for doing so).

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PRICE, yes the price looks great, but if you need sooner than 30, yes thats right 30 days dont bother with this company. The discount they offer if you spend more than 5000 isnt worth it if you can't get the product. I recieved no invoices, no tracking numbers, nothing. Forget getting a return phone call, I will not order from this company ever again.

NOT AGAIN -
I ordered a simple voice annunciator from them with two day ground shipping. Simple, right? The price was good, but the shipping and service is HORRID. They do not provide tracking or update their order status database, and do not stock anything that a sole proprietorship in New Jersey has stocked and at your door by two days flat time! These guys are making me wait 6-12 business days (8-16 normal days) to even get it shipped, and an additional three business days to have it in transit. Also, they charge a pleasent 25% cancellation fee PLUS more AT THEIR DISCRETION of which you cannot be exempt. Their service department has an abrasive attitude and needs to take a group ettiquete seminar. Not my choice, not again. I will go with the small company in New Jersey, thank you. |

worst of the worst! 3 weeks and counting on purchase of three cameras that everyone else has on the shelf. They don't stock anything! Worst customer service I have seen besides Verizon!

I bought from Spytown the Cyrex HFX-800M video intercom with an additional EX-800D door camera.
Monitor stopped working after 10 min. without any apparent cause. The problem showed up in the programming Menu mode: screen was blanking in one sec. every time when entered in menu screen. I obtained the RMA number and returned unit to Spytown to ship to the Cyrex - the manufacturer. Then for 8 weeks(!) I couldn't get my money back because Cyrex didn't have time to review the returned unit. Finally, the did and reported to Spytown that unit was fine! As a result I was charged a $125 restocking fee (plus my shipping costs) for the return of the defective unit. On the top of that Spytown almost NEVER answers the customer service phone - the only way for me to talk to anyone was - to call the sales and ask them to transfer the call to the customer service. Both Spytown and Cyrex are worth each other - both very bad companies. I will never buy from them. |

I had a great experiance with my last order. I placed and order online but was able to get help to verify i was getting the right parts that worked from somone that knew their stuff. I could not get this on a few other sites which i wont name. Spy Town 2 tumbs up!!
