I would shop here again because I like their products, but I was not happy to receive men's clothing instead of the women's clothing like I had ordered. I also discovered that to send the piece back to RockCreek would have cost me shipping as well, when it wasn't my mistake in the first place.

While a sizing chart was provided, I question its accuracy. In short, the item didn't fit and was returned. Also return shipping costs are borne by the purchaser.

My experience with shopping at Rock Creek is awful! I ordered a skirt and towels and got confirmation that my order was shipped. After 2 days they informed me that I will get a partial refund, because the skirt was oversold! Okay, I can understand that. I told sales representative that they should adjust their inventory, and he said they will. Well, after 4 days, skirt still shows as available in the size and color I ordered! I asked the sales representative to adjust their inventory, because somebody else could purchase something that is not in stock. You would think they would do that, but no.
I guess they just don't care.
I will have reservations to ever buy anything from them. By the way, the towels are still on the way......I guess lost between Time & Timbuktu.
Other companies shipped the same day and I already received my items.

After searching WWW land looking for the ideal headlamp for night trail running I not only received the best advice, but likely saved over 20 bucks buying there vs buying more than I needed on the web. Black Diamond Spot out performes many and is less expensive. Love the light and the store.

Rock Creek is among the best brick and mortar outdoor retail stores I've ever been in, and I still remember being surprised when I first found out how prominent they were in the online outdoor retail world.  I've been shopping there since the late 80's when they were Canoeist Headquarters, and I've never been let down.

Shopping online at Rock Creek is always easy and they have a huge selection of well thought out gear. Whenever I have to talk to someone on the phone or online chat, they always seem like they want to talk to you. that is huge.Delivery has never been a problem. 
Whenever I need to return anything they process my order right away and without fuss. if I have problems with gear or something needs repair, they are very knowledgable and are always able to help out.
overall I am very satisfied and it's definitely my favorite outfitter to shop at, if not my favorite store, period.

The box containing the shoes was partially open. The laces were tied in a manner suggesting the shoes had been worn or tried on multiple times. In addition, the paper around the shoes was badly crinkled. In all, dampening the new item experience.

I will not shop in USA again, I had to pay extra 33% in custom, VAT and fee from UPS. Not your fault just my ignorance, however I asked for gift package and low custom value, did not happen.

Their web site was fairly easy to work with. Some slight improvement might be helpful, but overall was good. Somehow the first time thru, I ordered the same product twice, and it was difficult to change the quantity back to just "one". Product was in stock, price was excellent, and my order arrived when they said it would. Quite happy with this company.
