I've ordered from RefurbDepot before with no issues. This time I ordered the new Samsung 55" LED TV I paid $1600 cheaper then my local BestBuy "Wow that alot" Their shipping was great it came in excellent condition and looked just like new, Overall a great experience!

I recently ordered a Canon digital SLR camera and two lenses at the online store. also. I called the customer service number a couple days later to check on the order. Only two items were in stock online and I wanted to make sure I got one. The representative was helpful and confirmed the order number and ship-to address. She indicated the items were shipping the next day. Everything arrived on the prescribed day and they were in fine shape. It was a pleasant experience for my first order from RefurbDepot. I have them on my favorites list on the computer and will be checking them when I am in search of another item.

I received a small TV from http://refurbdepot.com/ . It arrived with a scratch in the middle of the screen that was clearly defined and distracting when trying to watch the TV. I sent photos in to the company, requesting a refund or exchange, and they first said I'd have to pay a 15% restocking fee (as if they were going to restock a TV with a scratch in the middle of the screen) and shipping, which is about $60.00. I found this unacceptable, and after lengthy and arduous conversations and emails, they offered to exchange the TV with no restocking fee, but I still must pay shipping. They say the scratch is a "cosmetic blemish" and that since they sell refurbished items the scratch acceptable. I say it's a functional issue, as the scratch shows up very clearly when one is trying to watch TV. The screen is the part of the TV people pay for. So, I'm stuck paying a $60.00 shipping fee. |

I was referred to RefurbDepot by a workmate who purchased a laptop at RefurbDepot and was very happy, I decided to check out their website, let me be honest with you I was not in the market to buy a TV because I didn’t want to spend money for an upgrade but I was so amazed by their prices on the Samsung TV’s that I just decided to take their savings and treat myself with a new TV!!!!

I purchased a Samsung CLX-3160FN color laser printer and have had problems with the print quality since I purchased this machine.
I was suckered into also purchasing the extended warranty from CPS which has turned out to be a farce. It would cost me more to send this printer off for repair than to replace it. The inital cost is very appealing, but long term aspect of purchasing from this company is not worth it. |

After reading a lot of your reviews- I was scared to death that the TomTom 930 I thought I got a great deal on would be in less than ideal shape when it got here. Boy was I surprised. I ordered the unit on Friday the 20th, got a shipping notification yesterday, and it was delivered at 1:15pm EST today by UPS. I live in northern MD, so it didn't have to travel far from Brooklyn.
I opened the box- and it was perfect to my surprise and joy. Original TomTom box, original inside packaging, all new accessories in their packaging, the screen of the unit had its original protective film, and it had a card saying it was Road Tested and TomTom approved. I either got really lucky- or maybe this company is trying to clean up their act. We will see if my unit is working in 2 months, but for now- I am one satisfied customer! |

Buyer Beware, other than the customer service superviser Michelle no one was helpful. They made a serious mistake and it may cost me my right to bank in my state for many years to come. I cannot say enough to let you know what a shoddy company this is. They lied to me by omission, telling me the product I wanted was in stock, they didn't tell me there were several people ahead of me waiting for the same item and there weren't enough of the item in stock to cover my order. Now they are holding my $600 hostage until they actually get the item back in stock. Of course they were not going to charge me a restocking fee. I cancelled the order before they sent it out, my account should not have been charged in the first place for crying out loud! Be carefull there business practices are very shoddy!

HORRIBLE COMPANY! I ordered a Blu-Ray player from them, only to find out that the person I was buying it for as a gift had received a better player already, and since I hadn't even opened the box I figured it would be no big deal to send it back for a refund. WRONG! Their return policy is absolutely atrocious - not only do you have to have to pay a 15% restocking fee on all products, but you also have to have your return "authorized" first which CANNOT be completed online. They email you a form which they then demand that you fax back to them (even though none of the information on the form is something that can't be submitted online)and then ask you to re-fax the thing 4 different times because they claim they never receive it. All in all I've ended up paying over $50 for them to send me the player and send it back and I am EXTREMELY unhappy with them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR!

According to the RefurbDepot.com customer service, buying "Factory Refurbished" product doesn't mean you wll get the full suite of accessories normally come with a new product. They said they don't have to tell you what accessories are NOT included, you have to do research yourself! But then how? How would I know what will come with a new product I never own? I found out 3 accessories were missing by reading the User Manual. I could purchase them from the manufacturer's web site, but that's going to cost me an extra of $30. To return the order to RefurbDepot, I'll have to pay 15% restocking fee and shipping postage. I paid $160 for a refurbished camcorder with missing accessories and 90 days warranty. I could have paid $210 for a new one with all of the accessories and a 1-yr warranty. It's not worth it! If I knew their refurbished products would come with partial accessories, I would not have bought from them! In my opinion, RefurbDepot.com is not a honest seller! |

I went to Apple and ordered an Ipod; they said they were out. So I ordered from Refurbdepot. The next day I got an email saying Apple had shipped an Ipod. I called them and they were v. polite and offered a 50 dollar gift certificate if I accepted their item. Fine. I tried to cancel Refurb and was told that item had shipped. Told to refuse package. UPS threw it on my front porch, had no chance to refuse. Called and nicely explained situation, politely asked that the 15% restocking fee be waived, talked to 3 different people and was told no. I said why do I have to pay for restocking when I haven't even opened the box? I am considering simply returning it and challenging the charge on my visa.
They faxed me an agreement that I would have to sign agreeing that my money would be refunded minus the 15% restocking fee before a return authorization number would be issued. Yes, it was Apple's screwup initially, but a reputable company interested in customer service would have worked with me I think. |

My experience with RefurbDepot has been abysmal. I found a Garmin Nuvi 660 advertised with maps for both US/Canada/Puerto Rico and Europe. My research on the product's price with these maps indicated it was a steal of deal for $299. When I got the product, the European map was not pre-loaded as advertised. RefurbDepot's customer service manager indicated that the product description was a typo and that RefurbDepot's Terms and Conditions protect them by stating they are not responsible for typographical errors. They immediately changed the website deleting the previous statements. Fortunately I printed the spec sheet before they altered the description. RefurbDepot did offer a complete refund, if I send the product back in the original packaging. I attempted to go back onto the site again today and found the site was no longer available. Now I don't know if RefurbDepot is a legitimate company. I have attempted to connect to the site and still nothing is available. I am unsure if I should return the product and lose everything or not. I cannot recommend doing business with a company that appears to misrepresent the product offerings they are selling.

I ordered a FUJIFILM from that website only because they had 3 (three) more in stock and they were cheap. They pulled the money from my credit card, two days later posted a credit. I had no idea what was going on. On April 30th they sent me an email that the package was sent by ups. I checked the ups site to find the package canceled. I was mad as they withdrew money from my account and wrote them an email asking for an explanation. Thy just answered: we don't have it in stock. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They are also know as Comtech Direct or Comtek. They have an unsatisfactory record with the Better Business Bureau. They pulled a bait and switch on me. I ordered an Apple Ipod Nano 8GB (2nd Generation) being advertised for $186.50. Instead they sent me a refurbished 3rd generation that sells for a lot less. Now they want to charge me a 15% restocking fee on a system that I didn't order. Please complain to the Better Business Bureau, the New York Attorney Generals Office and the FBI fraud department. I bought a palm z22 from them - it was shipped quickly, but was defective. I sent it back and asked for a new one, but they said they were all out. They said they would refund my money - which they did, but just the cost of the unit - not the $ I paid for them to ship it to me or for me to ship it back. Here I am out $18.00 for nothing I did wrong - they should have reimbursed me for everything since it was thier fault.

Placed my order on the 12th, my card was charged on the 15 th. According to their policy, credit cards are not charged until the item is shipped. As of today, my item has not been shipped nor do they know if they will get it in. After waiting 30 minutes, I cancelled my order and called my bank to file an unauthorized charge.
This company gives online businesses a bad name. DO NOT do business with them. There are other businesses that are in the same price range and are more trust worthy. Paying for a peace of mind is worth it. The prices are good but you get what you pay for. Beware! |

Horrible customer service. I recommend never purchasing anything from this company. The price may be nice, but their customer service is not. I purchased an XBox 360 2 weeks ago, and apparently they have not even shipped it yet. The first email I sent customer service, I was told that there was a shipping error and that it would take 2-3 days to ship. Good customer service would have bent over backwards to satisfy the customer after a shipping error. I have made numerous phone calls to their customer service # and been on hold for 30+ minutes every time before I had to hang up. Don't let the price fool you. It is definitely worth the savings to get your items elsewhere. This company is complete rubbish.

I am having the same difficulties that everyone else seems to be having with RefurbDepot.com. They lied to me several times and did very little to help get my returned item delivered to them after that recent 9 day holiday they had which closed down the whole place!!! I seriously doubt if the item I got from them in the first place was refurbished. It looked just plain used and had several problems with it. Making customers sign a form saying they agree to pay a 15% restocking fee for a damaged item BEFORE an RMA number is even given out is just dumb!! They wont get away with it. Visa is on my side and they agree that RefurbDepot.com's policy is not right. I feel confident in getting a full refund. I have to eat shipping costs though... Stay away from this company!! File complaints with the BBB and Attorney Generals Office of Brooklyn, NY. They wont do anything if only one person complains but WILL represent a group of victims...

RefurbDepot.com lies to you when you order saying its in stock and its not. Then when you contact them they say it will be shipping soon. The first time I contacted them it was all ready a week. When I orded they said it would ships in 3 days. Now it is going on 3 weeks and I still have no shipping numbers so I can track it but they say they shipped it 3 days ago but wont give me the numbers.
I won't ever order from them ever again even if I get my order and every thing is ok. |

I attempted to order two items that were shown in stock on different dates. Three weeks past by and only on inquiry did I find out that "any day the item would be in stock and shipped." If one does not want to wait for weeks, or months, and receive no immediate feedback if items are on backorder, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
