so far so good with onlinecar stereo. i read some of the reviews and can understand all the frustration. the sub and amp i bought worked perfectly and were brand new. the shipping time was excellent. the only complaint i have is the wiring kit i purchased was not good enough for a 1000w amp and the kit said 2000w for 50 bucks. the kit was from absolute and the installers at best buy said they didn't want to use it.

I placed order on line and paid with credit card. Acording to their web site the orders status showed paid and processing. After a Week of no change to the orders status and still having not received the item I received an email from them stating that the product was on back order and they refunded my money. After another week of still no product I called and cancelled the order. The customer service was very polite and helpful. All in all not a big deal. I Just wish that I would have been notified at the time I placed the order that the item was out of stock.

I ordered my product on 7/13/2011 and still have nor received it yet and keep being it is on back order. It has been 16 days and the order has not been shipped at this time. This unacceptable and if the product takes this long they need to do something about it.

We ordered our Apline Marine receiver, speakers, subwoofer, AMP, etc. from these guys. After we got through the red tape due to size of the order, we were informed the AMP was on order. We did get our order and to our disappointment the receiver was missing. Most upsetting was the fact they charged us for something that was not in the shipment (our receiver). All we received were the speakers.
I waited a few days to see if the receiver was coming under separate package as the packing slip stated. However, upon calling our rep person, I was informed the receiver was no longer available to them. He did issue a refund of the receiver amount without any fuss. We ended up ordering the receiver and AMP from two other companies. Now I must return one set of speakers due to my error in ordering and I am hoping the company will allow me to do an exchange and pay the difference for the speakers we need. Stay tuned. |

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! Bad service! It has been 2 months since i first ordered $360 in subs and never recived them , its been 2 weeks since i requested a refund. I get put on hold for llong long periods of time. have been hung up on and this has been the Worst experince with an online retailer EVER!!!

Ordered a set of speakers from them which were listed as in stock. Two days later I called to confirm they were in stock, as they had not shipped yet, and customer service said they were in stock, but they "don't guarantee shipping in the first two days." Five days later I called to see why they hadn't shipped and they told me they were on backorder. I cancelled my order and have to wait an extra week for my speakers (from a more reputible company) because of their poor service.

1. I purchased a receiver, harness, and speakers. 2. The first shipment arrived quickly and well-packaged, however the rest of the order was back ordered with no information about availability. 3. The receiver sent was the wrong color. I checked the invoice and I ordered the correct model. 4. I called customer service and an agent picked up on the first few rings. I began to explain the situation, and she promptly "put me on hold" when the call disconnected. 5. I called again Thursday and Friday -- no service and none of my messages were returned. 6. Also, the speakers recommended by the website were the wrong fit. Oddly, Crutchfield made the same mistake. There was an online schematic that was correct however (so remember to google first.) 7. PROS: cheap prices and fast (when sent). 8. CONS: pray they don't get your order wrong, because you'll never hear from them again. 9. In a nutshell, according to these reviews, you have a three in four shot of a proper, fast and easy order. I guess that's good for field goal percentage, but not online ordering. |

These guys are the most dishonest bunch I ever ran across on the internet.
Ordered subs on the 17th. They sent me a email with a tracking number stating the subs were shipped on the 19th. UPS indicated that billing info received, BUT NOTHING WAS EVER SENT!!! Customer service acted confused and promised a call back. That was 10 days ago. I had to file a chargeback to get my money back. These people are scam artists and if you order from them you deserve everything that you get. I hope someone puts them out of business. |

I ordered a Visonik V417SX 800 watt amp and a pair of MB Quart DTC 169 6x9 speakers. After 2 days, I noticed that my order had not shipped yet and emailed them. On the third day I called their customer support because I didn't receive an email back. After waiting on hold for a few minutes, I was told that both of the items I ordered are on backorder for 1-2 weeks, which I was never notified about. I canceled my order and will never shop there again.

My product was recieved and in perfect condition, although I dont think you can go by the shipping dates they provide during the christmas season. at least not if you live in canada. my order took 11 business days, not including weekends, but it was christmas time, so that was expected (just order earlier if its a christmas gift. I also recieved an unexpected C.O.D charge at the door, so be warned, you may need cash ready when you pick up your order. also, my tracking number didn't work, i had to email to get one, and it was wrong, so I called and they emailed me the correct one later that day. I was somewhat dissappointed by that as the tracking number should have been sent to me in the first place without having to ask for it!
