I've have used this site for online auctions for the past 2 1/2 years & have no real problems till this year! Lately when I have won an auction for an item I was bidding on I haven't ever received the item.
About a month ago I won 2 online auctions from this company for a ships wheel with a clock in it to hang on my wall & also won another auction for a night light lighthouse. I won both auctions & received an e-mail from them informing me that I won the items. The next day they proceeded to charge my credit card for the 2 items that I had won. About 3 days later I receive another e-mail from them stating that the items were on back order. Well, I had no problem on waiting on them for the 10 days as was stated in the e-mail they had sent me. Then after those 10 days I still hadn't received them. I received a 2nd e-mail notice that they were still on back order. So, I waited for another 10 days. Well, after this 2nd 10 days went by I received another e-mail me informing me they are no longer having this item in stock for shipment to me. So, they informed me they would credit my credit card back with the amount they charged me for. Well, it has been 3 weeks since then & I still haven't yet received my credit back on my credit card. I contacted they customer service & they told me that the items I had won they haven't stocked for the past 3 months. I asked them why have them up for bidding then if they are not having them in stock. They couldn't give me an explanation! Also, asked them about crediting my credit card back for the money they already charged me. They informed me they were back logged & it would be another 2 to 3 weeks. I ended up calling my credit card company & with in a weeks time they had straightened out the matter & I finally had my credit back.
If you win anything from their auction site don't count on getting it as I have found out. They are posting items on their website that they either don't have or have run out of. And if they charge your credit card don't count on getting your credit back on your credit card in a reasonable amount of time. They like taking your money, but they sure take their time in giving it back to you!!
