Buy.com and Paypal don't play nice so I ordered several books from different vendors,twice, and had all of the orders canceled the next day, twice. There was no problem with any of the vendors. The problem was between paypal and buy.com. I did eventually complete the same purchase at Amazon where payment was easier.

I had to contact customer service a few times because I was using a gift card for the payment method. The address onfile with AMEX didn't match. I managed to transfer the gift card in my name and address.That solved the problem and the order went throught. I appreciate the security measures that were taken even though it was an inconvenience at the time. All in all a good shopping experience.

Fortnum & Mason was my nightmare on Christmas 2011,

The goods had not arrived on time as promised although I ordered them 3 weeks in advance. We wanted mince pies for Christmas, they did not turn up. Customer services line was a big shock because I had to wait for 20 minutes at least. One month passed, I have still not received the refund, and I have to send several emails,only answers  I've got were someone will contact you. You can keep the refund Fortnum & Mason, You are the worst Christmas experience since I have been shopping online.

I purchased four of the same title books and was very pleased with the promptness of delivery. One of the 4 books had a plastic type cover that had been somehow sealed on the paperback cover. That one has sharp edges and hurts to hold in your hand and read. But I paid only $5 for it and have now trimmed the edges and hope putting clear dontac paper over them will make it easier to hold and read. Overall I am very pleased to get 4 of my very favorite book of all time to give to others at a bargain.

I ordered a beige cat condo, and instead I received a blue cat condo. The color does not match the colors in my room, but because it weighs 68 pounds, which I can't lift, I am considering keeping it anyway, but I was very disappointed at receiving the wrong color.

I've bought from Buy.com in the past and never had a problem. This time that I bought, they decided that they wanted my signature for the shipment. Never asked me for it before. Of course i'm not at home to sign for it. Delayed the shipment by a day because of this. I happen to catch the Fedex guy the next day. They should inform us customers if a signature is required, so we can ship it to another address or something. They have great prices, but just will be careful when I buy from them next time.

Purchased was made and paid for. Monies removed from account. Following day the monies were refunded do to an allegedly unverified shipping address according to PayPal (I've had deliveries to that address whilst paying through PayPal before). That same day I return to Buy.com and REPURCHASE the item and provide a different shipping address and pay directly to buy.com rather than utilizing PayPal. Less than 12 hours after the original purchase there was then no longer free shipping. It cost me an extra $29 to make the purchase. I Made two phone calls and spoke with 3 different people about having the fee removed. I was told I would receive an email the next business day (01/03/2012) and to date have received NONE. This was my first shoppng experience with Buy.com and it has not been a favorable one. Henry Medina

Buy has an extremely poorly designed webpage. When I finally find a product that I wish to buy, it is very difficult to find the button to add it to my shopping cart. Sometimes I have had to add it to my wish list, but even then, there is no button in my wishlist to add the item to my shopping cart. I usually go to newegg.com to make my purchases in that case.
