Money gone and nothing to show for it

I placed an oprer with Tyler Tools for a drum sander they said was in stock and would ship in 2-5 days. After seeing the money coming out of my account and not receiving any shipping confirmation I called only to find out that the item wouldn't be shipped for a least 4 months. So they made sure they had my money but I wasn't going to get the product. I cancelled the order and have been going through a lot of stress trying to get my money returned. Customer service reps have given me the run around and even hung up on me but yet I still don't have my money back.

I am a contractor who, as one of my ways of keeping costs down, buys a lot of reconditioned tools. I have had very few problems with them, but I cannot say that I haven't had any. (I trust most of them like new) "Our Reconditioned Tools perform like new at a fraction of the cost." I agree. I was turned on to Tylertool.com for that reason. I am disappointed that they continue to advertise reconditioned tools that they cannot get, ship or are otherwise unavailabe. I was wasting a lot of my time by looking. I have found new items at a fairly reasonable price, but would go elswhere because this company's advertising integrity is compromised by misleading contractors to believe that they can actually get them the items that they advertise.

Slow shipping. They claim they ship the same day, they dont. Orderd on the 7th(sunday), I would expect them to ship on the 8th, but the order did not ship until the 11th. Last order with tylertool.com.

The ease of navigating this site was the only positive attribute of this site. Don't expect much honesty or help from the customer service department. Packages arrived in a timely manner but I suspect I received display models or worse.

I purchased a Milwaukee Sawzall and Tyler Tool had the best price and the best service. I received the saw sans blade (which was supposed to be included). A short email to Tyler and a few days later the missing blade was in my mailbox with an apology.
I am a repeat customer and go to them first when looking for new tools. |

Ordered a 12" Hitachi miter saw. Delivery and processing were fine, not the fastest but acceptable. The saw was packaged fine and no damage in delivery. Saw was missing a few minor parts. Called Tyler Tool and gave them the missing part numbers. Tyler Tool contacted Hitachi distributor and I had the missing parts within four days. There was no hassle whatsoever. Tyler Tool customer service was top notch and handled my situation very well. This was my first experience using them as a vendor, but I will probably buy from them in the future due to their quickness in requesting parts for me. Kudos to Hitachi also for sending the parts so quickly. The saw is great, and Tyler Tool had the best price.

This is my second order with Tyler Tool. I ordered 12/30 and it was shipped on 12/31. It arrived in excellent condition in a timely manner and in great condition. I have Tyler Tool on my woodworking "favorites" list whenever I shop for tools/equipment. Overall, very satisfied again.

I tried looking for the item I needed here locally before searching the internet. Tyler Tool had exactly what I was looking for, and at a very reasonable price. Ordering and paying was very easy, and the delivery of the item couldn't of been any better. Will be looking at Tyler Tool first if the need arises again in the future.

Whenever my husband expresses his desire for a particular gift for birthday, anniversary or Xmas, etc. I can always find exactly what i'm looking for at Tyler, it arrives promptly .. or i'm emailed it's out of stock and when it'll be sent, etc. I've always been very satisfied with my shopping experience at Tyler.

Tool arrived a little damaged. Base broken, but the saw worked fine.
They shipped a replacement same day I called and had me return the old upon the arrival of the new.
The old one may have been sitting around awhile somewhere. The new order in much better condition. How they resolved issue is what would allow me to go back with no problem.
