they stink at customer support. I purchased a warranty for a few hundred dollars. when I had a problem with the television they would not send me a copy of the warranty. they told me they don't care if I report them to the better business bureau. now I have to pay to repair the tv

I had just recently purchased a set of Infinity TSS750's at Circuit City, when I decided to shop the net for a better price. I was almost knock off my chair when I saw MyDigitalUniverse.com had the same home theater system for approximately $200 less than what I paid.
Being the skeptic, I decided to give them a call and find out what the catch was... to my surprise there was no catch, these were brand new in a box, not "Grey Market", and available in black (same color Circuit City wasn't available)...so I placed the order and once again was surprised when they told me I would have them the next day with no additional shipping cost. Still being the skeptic, I anticipated not having my speakers for another 2 to 3 days, but once again was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to my home to find my brand new set waiting for me... I can honestly say that this has been one of the best Internet shopping experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to save $$$ and excellent customer service! |

These guys are not trusted. I put an order for Bose lifestyle 28II, and made a call checked. They told me it was in stock and would be shipped soon. But they never did. After a week, I called again, they told me it was backorder and needed 10 days. After 10 days, they told me they didn't have it. What can I say to them? I lost more than 3 weeks, but got nothing.
What can they do like that? Never trust them. Jason |

I would not buy from them again!! I place an order for speakers because they said they had them in stock. I did not get a shipping number. I called and was informed that they would ship in a couple of days. I called in a couple of days and was told they would ship next week. Again, I called next week and was told that they would ship again in a week.
I just cancelled my order and have moved on to another vendor. I also noticed that they are no longer in good standing with the BBB. Good luck it you are thinking about buying from these guys. |

I was looking to buy the Denon AVR 3805 reciever and when making an online search, came accross MyDigitalUniverse.com
They had the best price available in the market. The reciever was brand new. The best part is that I recieved the shipment within 24 hours of placing the order online.This one is not available in all stores and where it is, its expensive. They delivered what they promised. Also, everytime I called there was someone there to answer. Gr8 customer service. |

I called the toll free number for My Digital Universe and spoke briefly and politely to someone in sales...even though I had some difficulty understanding the salesman. I called back a second time, and the call was disconnected. On my third try the same man answered for customer service and said to me: "What are you doing calling back here three times and hanging up, you b___h (another word for a female dog)." Please pardon the language, but those were his exact words. I had in no way been discourteous or rude to this man in sales/customer service nor had I hung up the line three times. Even with caller ID, he had no way of knowing if I was the same customer attempting to reach this business (My Digital Universe.) I have no idea where this incredibly rude and unbelievably crass and angry remark came from.

Horrible experience. Before placing the order online, I called to confirm that the item was in stock. He assured me it was and that it would ship out the next day (Friday). Starting Monday, I called each day to ask if the item had shipped. It had not. Finally, he told me that it was not in stock. Many of the online retailers on these shopping sites (Mysimon.com, shopping.com) are very shady. All 4 that I tried misled me with false information and only got the truth when persistently calling. This place was the worst though - awful customer service (the same guy answers the phone no matter which department you want!), false advertising on the website - and the scary thing is they now have my credit card number! "Bait and Switch" is still very much alive with these websites.

I bought a 61" sony plasma so I was very nervous about buying over the internet. I had absolutely no problems. Delivery was two days sooner than expected. However, there was was some scratching on the screen where the styrofoam packing is placed on the corners. I called customer service and the problem was taken care of by Sony and I was sent a new display unit. There was no hassle I highly recommend My Digital Universe.

Shopping for a high store rating and low price My Digital Universe was my first choice. I ordered a Sony KW60 Super Vega HDTV. The order was confirmed via telephone and a delivery date promised. Transport was provided by Eagle Transportation. The HDTV was delivered as promised. Very good store and delivery company to deal with!

I recently ordered a Sony KLV-32XBR850 from My Digital Universe. This was my first big purchase over the web so I was very nervous. I searched around and found My Digital Universe to have the best prices. I gave it a go and am glad I did. Everything that My Digital Universe promised came true.....fast shipping, an extended warranty contract, and most important a nicely packed working unit. I am glad I used My Digital Universe. Definitely call Amish and he will hook you up.

I purchased the Yamaha RXV14000 on Feb 16th had a confirmation & UPS tracking # that same day, and received both in mint condition on Feb.19th as promised! I'm truly impressed. They did what the said they would. Purchase price was far less than other websites or retail outlets quoted for the same product.
Not many times in life do we take the time to thank people for their efforts, but I wanted to make sure that this time I took the time. Thanks for the super fast shipment of my order. The service is Excellent. I would purchase from My Digital Universe again! In fact It will be the only place I will go for all my audio Equipment. You dont find that many companies any more that give you a great price and service at the same time. |
