HORRIBLE SERVICE! Avoid at all costs.
Ordered a CV boot for my Audi, received the WRONG boot. JHM said I had to pay for the right one and send the wrong one back and that they would refund the part and my shipping when they receive the part back. Nearly two months later, no refund! After numerous calls to "Keaton" with bogus excuses each time, I reversed the credit card charge. How a business can operate like that is beyond me. |

Experience has been excellent. I ordered a product that was clearly labeled as a pre-order, so I was expecting a delay in shipment. When I got a little impatient :-) and emailed the company to see if they had a shipping date yet, I received a prompt, friendly and detailed reply. I would not hesitate to order again from this company and will highly recommend them to others. Good people!

Very poor service!! I ordered a radio on September 1st and finally received it on September 20th. This isn't even the bad part. I had specifically said to ship via USPS to Canada and definitely not by UPS!! Well, guess what, he shipped by UPS even though I had paid an extra $20.00 to have it shipped by USPS. What a hassle as it shipped to a postal box which everyone knows that UPS can not deliver to. Finally after many emails and such, John refunded me the shipping but it wasn't even close to the extra costs charged to me by UPS for brokerage. I finally got my radio but am very frustrated with the whole transaction. John runs his business from his home and just uses drop shippers. Check out Google maps with his address. Update!! September 25th - John demanded that I remove his phone number which I have complied with. I checked his web site today and he changed his address that had been listed. Interesting for somebody who is running a legit business. The biggest question is why no contact phone number for customer support? Think twice before dealing with this company.

J&H provided excellent service and an excellent price. I had originally purchased from a company called fotoconnection, who then called and tried to sell me the already included items at an extra cost.
J&H did not do this. I called and spoke to a person in advance of purchasing and was notified accurately of the cost and items included. I was also told that the item was backordered and could not be delivered for about 3 weeks. The item actually arrived in about 1-1/2 weeks - so they were very honest and then did better. Very much appreciated. |

Fast shipping, great prices and excellent customer service. J&H had the best prices I could find and offered me even better prices through a package quote. Shipped the wrong model of trolling motor but responded to my email and had the new one on its' way within half a day. Will not hesitate to recommend J&H to anyone looking for marine products and will definitely shop there again in the future.

Ordered a Garmin 3210 Chartplotter. These guys had the best price and a very good Shopping.com customer rating. Shopping.com listed the product I was ordering as in-stock. But after ordering from J&H and waiting several days for it to ship I contacted them via email - was told that product had been back-ordered for a month. Who is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory status on Shopping.com?
Vendor's website did not give inventory status. I was not notified of the back ordered status when I placed order. They charged credit card immediately, even though they did not have the item in stock. This seems like a classic bait-and-switch maneuver. Vendor does not have a phone number. They did not respond to an email inquiry I made regarding shipping status. I have cancelled the order, but am expecting that to be a hassle - will know soon. |
