HSN has great products at wonderful prices. However, their customer service is the worst. I had a problem with my address not being valid
in their system when trying to order a bed. Even though I've ordered with them before and received my package, my same address still came up as invalid. I emailed customer service 4 times and kept getting the run around. They wouldn't hold the bed I wanted and kept wanting me to call them instead of them calling me. Maybe they are not allowed to make outbound calls. Even the supervisor said I would need to call them even though they had all my account information. I guess being a supervisor of call center myself, I had a hard time accepting this information. I expect good customer service all the time and a customer should never have to follow up by calling customer service after already contacting them via email. Email is a form of contact! There is no difference between email and the phone! Well, the difference is I'm not waiting on hold when I email. Again, this is the worst service I've ever experienced. |

The most ridiculous shipping structure I have ever come across. First, UPS gets your package, and you get a tracking number. Great! Then, suddenly, your package seems to have been delivered. But not to you. After several phone calls, you discover that HSN has UPS deliver your package to a nearby USPS office, where it now undergoes a whole new rash of sorting, selecting, etc. I ship and get shipments from all over the USA, and I am not four days from anywhere! But apparently, I am two weeks away from Texas, according to HSN, and I live in the midwest!! I would never order from this company again, and only older seniors or tech virgins would not know that this is the crappiest shipping time known to man. There are so many other online vendors, why bother with this crap. (And I still haven't gotten my package, which I expected three days ago....)

Return policy is not to be believed. They state items under 5 lbs. can be returned for $6.95 and those over 5 lbs for $8.95. This only works if the item you ordered comes directly from them. The majority come from outside vendors. In order to ship back a tapestry I bought it will cost me $32. Nowhere did it say this was coming from an outside vendor. Customer Services response was that I should have called before ordering to see where the item was shipping from. Save yourself the headache and the big bucks. These people are crooks!

Between the company NextBook and HSN, they are both full if it. The nextbook is a piece of crap that dous not hold a charge, download any books fast-or even slow- and customer service from both sucks. Next book has about 2 people in customer service who first should find out their job description...they know nothing. Once HSN has your money......well "Bye". HORRIBLE FEEDBACK POLICY!
I ordered an item which cost $268 and upon its arrival, it did not live up to the description by the sales pitch diva. She also stated during her "live performance" there were hundreds of positive reviews for the product. So when I received it, I went online and there were NONE! Not a one! I contacted via live chat and they said "sorry".... Yeah, like that helps! SOOO, today I try to leave feedback and cannot. You know why? Because the item is not listed at the moment...so I can't leave feedback! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Now you know there has to be a reason for that....and I am sure it is not for the consumer's benefit. SHOP ONLINE BUT NOT HERE. THE FEEBACK POLICY FOR A BUSINESS OF THIS SIZE IS LUDICROUS. |

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I orderd a Dyson, it was sent to someone else. I never recieved it, they returned my deposit because I was right and they have now turned me over to collection for the balence of something they know I didn't get.
You can't even talk to there Accounts dept. Can't talk to anyone that matters... I requested a copy of all of the conversations that they had on record, since they would verify it was right in front of them on the computer screen but since they are no one that can help they won't send it and there is no one I can Call ..... BEWARE!!!! Customer Service is VERY MUCH lacking with this Company. I want a company that offers me a Person I can contact to resolve an issue if there should be one however this company makes you feel you are not there concern once the payment was sent. |

I bought a NEXTPAD, when in 3 or 4 days after I get a phonecall saying that my order was going to arrive in no less than 30 days, I bought it for my 10 year old niece for her birthday, and need it in less than 15 days. When I called they said that it was true i was not going to get it on time due to so many people ordering it. I was disappointed since it was the first time I ever bought something from HSN, for me to get a CSR it took like 15 mins. I dont think I am ever buying anything from them again. I would not tell people to buy from HSN.

Terrible! Just awful! I had to place the order for my cell phone 3 seperate times, and each time it was cancelled due to "vendor issues" yet they kept saying every single time I called "We have them in stock, or they would not be offered on the website". They lie, flat out lie. I took it up from representitive to manager (who hung up on me when I asked questions) to their 'leadership team' What a farce that is. They take orders for items they have no intention on shipping and then customer 'service' claims they can't do anything about it. Last I heard SERVICE means that you CAN do something about it.
I will never buy from them again and never recomend them to anyone. |

I have shopped a lot at HSN. Never had a problem with any item I have purchased. When I did return something that I just didn't like (product was ok just personal preference)it was very easy and I received my money back in a timely manner. Would definately recommend.

Bought an Everly Originals portrait package, then they went out of business before product delivery. The customer service rep. first said that they would refund me. Then, after three more calls they said that it wasn't their problem and refused to refund me any money. Promises were not kept and poor call back rate. They refused to accept any responsibility, even though they are in cahoots with Everly, a company apparently owned by HSN. I told them that I would tell ever person I know and encourage others from ever shopping here in the future. But the rep. didn't care.

Ordered a computer the other day . Got a confirmation e-mail. Got a phone call that I needed to call them to verify my flex pay account. I called them and they gave me a hassle cause i was on my cell phone instead of my home phone. I gave them all my information ,and why I was shipping to my wifes work adress instead of my home{nobodys home during the day???} Finally the guy said ok I am releasing your order and it should ship today or tommorrow at the latest.He said I would get a confirmation e-mail after it shipped. 2 days later I get an e-mail that says sorry your order has been delayed due to lack of product stock.If we don't have stock in 30 days your order will be canceled. thanks for shopping with HSN .. Then this fall, I begin receiving SPAM from Lucky Magazine at the unique email address I had originally provided HSN. Bought several Heidi Daus jewelry items from HSN. Stones were either missing or fell out soon after wearing them. HSN Customer Service refused to return my money or tell me where to get them fixed. This DESPITE written agreement enclosed with each Daus item saying stones were guaranteed FOR LIFE! This jewelry is cheap. HSN is a rip off. My debit account information has been stolen twice when using the online service. Not sure if I am the only one, but be sure to check your bank account for suspicious purchases when ordering through the website. I have had fraud issues only twice and it has always been after using my debit card on the HSN website. I did contact the company and let them know. Otherwise, HSN is great, but I think I will use personal checks from now on when using their system.

I wanted to unsubscribe myself from their mailing list. The website and service was terrible and made it impossible to unsubscribe from mailing list without calling them up. I did not have an account with them, so i am unsure why i was recieving their e-mails anyway. In order to unsubscribe, i had to give alot of personal information (on website, in order to ask them to remove me: name, phone number, etc) Had to call up to unsubscribe, which is a waste of time and very inconvenient. Automatic voice prompt kept asking for account information, but i did not have an account. Took awhile to get past the auto-prompt and actually speak to a representative. Once i did, issue was resolved.

Had to have order shipped to a friends address because for some reason my home address is blocked and they wont ship items to my address. Shipping is just absurd. I ordered 8 items in 1 order but was charged as if I had made 8 seperate orders. I paid $7 on shipping PER item and ended up with 8 boxes sitting on my friends doorstep. One item was cancelled due to my HSN card being declined yet the credit department shows it as being approved. Had to wait 4 days before the credit was applied to my card in order to reorder the item again. Had to place order 5 times before it was even registered in the system. All that aside, shipping was fast.

Overall, I was quite unhappy with my experience using the Home Shopping Network. I ordered a garage fan for my father's birthday, and confirmed with Customer Service that the fan would be delivered in 3 days if I paid an additional $40 for shipping. The Customer Service representative indicated that shipping would not be a problem as this was a stock item and would leave the warehouse the same day as the order. On day 3 (the scheduled delivery date), I was informed via e-mail that the fan had just been drop-shipped by the manufacturer and would arrive in an additional 7 to 10 days. 7 days later the fan did finally arrive. Of course I called Customer Service, and was told that they could not give me a reason for the misrepresentation or delay, and said that all I could expect was a refund for the additional shipping amount. I will most certainly not shop with the Home Shopping Network in the future.

I am so very disappointed with this company and its policies. I recently purchased 2.6ct Moissanite and Genuine Ruby Round 3-Stone 14K Ring SIZE 5 order# 460187537. The company would not send it to me because they could not verify my address. I lease this house and have been here since December I offered to send the loss prevention rep a copy of my lease but she said "sorry that's not our policy". This was supposed to be my engagement ring. I am completely devastated. I called customer service on 2/20/2008 at 6:00pm and the rep never mentioned this. Instead of telling 10 people of this horrible experience I'll be able to tell 10,000 with the help of the internet.

I have purchased many, many, many items from HSN. I have never ever had any problems with receiving or returning items(which has only been maybe once or twice out of 5 or 6 years). They deliver quickly, customer service has always been great and am very, very satisfied with HSN.
However, I recently purchased the "Today's Special", a computer by Gateway. Although it is still new and I have not had any trouble. I noticed that there was no return label in the box as with other products. Upon reading some the feedback where some people have tried to return theirs and the difficult time they seem to be having, I am getting a "little" nervous. Someone told me that Gateway was purchased by "ACER". Could this be the reason for all of the "great" buys on HSN for Gateway products and the non-caring attitude from Gateway's customer service when asked how to return items? |
