THEY TOOK MY MONEY

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.  I spent $1015.31, I ordered a Lane Gramercy Park Dresser and never received it.  I requested a refund and never got that either.  Now, I can't seem to contact them.  The phone has been disconnected. I went thru BBB and they stated they can't reach them either or appears they are out of business.  But they still have a website.  The BBB advised me to go thru Chatham County Magistrate Court.  Wish me luck.  Mary, El Paso, Texas

This Company is a scam!! I ordered 8 office chairs and called every week, every time they said they where in backorder, last week I found it the phone number is disconnected. I will dispute it with American Express and hopefully i can get my money back!! Horrible place!!

I placed as order for almost $800 in items from FurnitureBuzz in June.  Their site indicated the items I wanted were in stock, but they weren't  And not only not in stock but not even on the horizon.  Days later FurnitureBuzz had no idea when the order could be fulfilled.  So a week after placing the order, I cancelled it.  In the meantime FurnitureBuzz charged my credit card even though they couldn't fulfill my order.  So here I am over two months later faxing documentation to my credit card's fraud department in order to get all or some of my $800 back. 

My strong advice is:  GO ELSEWHERE!  PAY A LITTLE MORE AND DON"T LOSE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY VIA THIS VERY SHADY OUTFIT!l

Charged me & no product received

After placing an order & receiving an email from furniturebuzz.com with a confirmation notice, I waited for 3 weeks for my purchase to arrive.  When I tried to call their phone number, I found that it has been disconnected.  After reading all of the reviews, I called Bush Furniture & was informed that they had gone out of business around the 1st of August.  My order & confirmation with them was done on August 6th.  It was a small order but still, who has money to throw around these days, especially, when you place on order with your credit card.  Now, I have to spend my time to get my money refunded on my Visa.

I paid this website $1,183 on 6/25/11.  At the time of my order, the web site said my furniture was in stock.  As soon as I paid, I got an email saying it was on back order, and it would arrive on 7/25/11.  As of today (8/25/11), I still do not have it.  The web site has no contact information.  There was a phone number in the email I received.  That number has been disconnected.

Ordered product 6/26/11. After several emails regarding non-delivery, I cancelled the order and requested a credit via two emails. Both times they emailed back and said "it is in the system" and I should receive it "shortly." Went to their site today (8/17/11) to find out where my credit was, and learned THEY ARE OUT OF BUSINESS!!! Their phone number "has been disconnected."

HORRIBLE!!!

I have had the same thing happen. I ordered 3 barstools in June. They sent me an order number and status that the the bar stools are on backorder. When I called about this they assured me the stools would be delivered July 16th. I kept calling every week and was told they would be in soon. After waiting 6 weeks I ask for them to cancel my order and to return my money. I am still waiting for my refund and now I see they have gone out of business! So I guess that is money I gave away!

Everything I read here about this horrible, unfriendly vendor is totally true!! I ordered barstools in April and they strung me along until July! Thanks heaven I paid with Amex and they gave me a full refund including interest...they are now pursuing this vendor for the money!
I actually ordered they exact same stools from a different vendor just now: Home & Bedroom Furniture. I hope they are okay.

This company should be driven out of business.  It is the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I am about to take legal action against them.  Their site is simply untruthful: it says up to 7 days to ship; I have been waiting two full months for an  order over 3000 dollars!  Sam story each time I call: nobody knows anything.

I placed an order with furniturebuzz on May 7th,2011 for a headboard. They completely mislead with their delivery time, it is now August 8th and after several e-mail correspondences and a phone call I still do not have the headboard nor any further information on it. I would not buy anything from them again and they should be reported for misleading info to the consumer. When called they were very nonchalant. Very dissatisfied.

I waited 30 days for my item to arrive, finally I had to call them only to find the item had been discontinued. They didn't tell me and didn't refund me. That was two months ago and I am calling everyday still trying to get my money back. If you do business with these people you need your head examined.

worse online shopping experience ever!

i ordered a desk from furniture buzz on may 28, 2011.  on may 30, 2011, they sent me a confirmation.  this lead me to believe that the order had been processed and would be shipping shortly.  by june 13, 2011, the desk was still not shipped, their excuse being that they need to contact the manufacturer, so i cancelled the order.  throughout the month of june and july, i proceeded to call customer service to see when the refund would be processed.  currently, it is july 7, 2011 and the refund has not been processed and i am blocked from being able to contact someone from accounting.  i contacted customer service numerous times and all they could tell me is that they would "let accounting department know".

FRAUDULENT COMPANY

DON'T BUY FROM THEM!  I waited 30 days for my bunk beds, called and they said 2 more weeks, called and they said 2 more weeks.  Requested a refund.  Filed a dispute with paypal.  Paypal said I waited past the 45 days window for disputes and they could not help me.  They suggested I go to my credit card company.  This is a fraudulent company.  It is always the same guy who answers the phone when I call, Robert.  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

This has by far been the worst online buying experince i have ever had! Not only was my Item/items not in stock, I was billed instantly! I wasnever told that the purchased Items had to be ordered from the manufacturerand that could take up to 45 days. I called the manufacturer directly and they told me the items would not even go into productionuntil April 1st, yet I was biled on March 7th!After several attemps by email and phone calls 36 days later i finally asked for a cancelled order and a refund. They told me that could takeanother 15 to 45 days to process thru accounting! So 45days + 45days= 1 urinated on off customer But I sure showed them!luckily I pid using "Paypal" which offers buyers protection for free.I filed a dispute and had my money back in less than 3days!This company bills you instantlyand then holds your order so they can collect on their interest earnings! WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE

NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER BUY FROM FURNITUREBUZZ.COM. IN FACT, THIS STORE NEED TO BE PROSECUTED BY THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. HERE IS MY STORY.
I ordered furniture piece from this store and they claimed the item was in stock. However, when I checked back a week later, I was told it will take 8 weeks to ship. I cancelled this order and requested my money back. I ordered the same item from amazon and I got it delivered 5 days later.
It took over 2 months before my money could be credited back after several email exchanges and threats of report to the better business bureau. I always read reviews before making online purchases, and if you read reviews from furniturebuzz.com website, IT IS ALL DECEIT. PLEASE NEVER ORDER FROM THIS STORE SO THEY CAN EITHER CHANGE THEIR MANAGEMENT OR GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

I am so sick of this company. I ordered a full bedroom set back on 01/28/2011. 48 business days later i contacted them to see why this was taking so long and hadnt received a tracking #, they told me they would email when one was ready. i asked for a refund and they advised me it would take 45-60 business days to receive a refund. what they are doing is prolonging the wait so you can't legally request it. so i went ahead and am doing a dispute with me bank so i dont have to deal with them further. also only 1 person seems to work their by the name of "robert" hes the only 1 that ever answers the phones or any emails. extremely horrible business attitudes and crooks.

if you want to deposit your hard-earned money without interest without any guarantee that you will ever get it back - buy a lot from Furniture buzz.

I paid around 1000 dollars on February 28th, item was "in stock"
6 weeks later they give me the BS that the chairs MAYBE will leave the manufacturer's warehouse in May.

why doesn't paypal cancel the account for these idiots?
why do credit card companies allow any transactions if all of them are fraudulent.

BUYER BEWARE! Have been waiting for my $499 refund for returned damaged furniture since the middle of January.  Have been told on 3 occasions that the refund would be processed within the week.  Called again today and the person in charge of refunds was not available.

Unbelievably poor packaging for shipping.  The legs were exposed and totally chewed up.  They wouldn’t guarantee that the next chair would be undamaged so I returned the chair without a reorder.

Same story here.  Ordered diningroom table set on Dec 28, 2011, they charged my visa immediately, not 1 email or phone call was ever initiated from Furniture Buzz.  At the time of ordering the sales rep put me on hold, told me it was in stock & should take 3-4 weeks.  I called back in 3 weeks & was told "oh no that is shipped from over seas that take 11 weeks."  I waited the 11 weeks & was told 3 more weeks.  After reading the reviews today I lost faith and cancelled my order & disputed the charge on my Visa.  I can purchase the same item locally, but I liked the saving so it was worth a shot.

100% a scam in my opinion.  I ordered an item and they charged by credit card right away.  A few days later they informed me the item was not in stock.  They wanted me to order something else - which I thought was odd.  I told them there was nothing else I was intested and insisted they refund my credit card immediately.  That was nearly 60 days ago, no credit has been posted and they are giving me the same 30-45 day talking track. The only person that you can actually talk to is some poor guy that is always there alone and he is taking all the heat.  Either they stole my money or they are floating themselves a loan with this scam.  Either way - it not good.  My advice - run as fast as you can away from FURNITURE BUZZ and do business elsewhere.

This website/business is the biggest load of crap ever!  I am now awaiting my refund.  I placed an order and almost 3 months later from the date I placed the order. Still no furniture and still receiving the run around.  I asked to speak to the man on the phones supervisor, oddly enough he was the supervisor. Asked to speak to the owner of the company, oddly enough he wasn't in.  The guy on the phone had the audacity to say to me - "well you have waited this long, why not wait just a little longer."  Started the refund process and am hopeful if my refund will be given back to me in full in a timely manner

I ordered a piece of furniture from furniturebuzz in November.  The item was not as described so I contacted their return department.  They sent a return shipping label to me and I returned the product in December 2010.  Since then I have repeatedly called them and they have repeatedly promised to refund my money.  It never happens!  I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they have not yet been able to recover my money either.  I'm starting to think I will never see my $200 again.  Please do not buy from this irresponsible company!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

MY STORY: I ORDERED AN ENTERTAINMENT CENTER THAT WITH SHIPPING TOTALED $1252.50 ON A SATURDAY(FEB 12, 2011). ON THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY(FEB 15) I RECEIVED AN EMAIL (NO PHONE CALL)  FROM THEM THAT THEY COULD NOT GET THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER FROM THE STANDARD MANF. CO. AS IT IS NO LONGER MADE. 

SO I ASKED FOR A CREDIT ON THE ITEM. HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE 30 TO 45 DAYS.  I KEPT WATCHING MY CREDIT ACOUNT ON LINE FOR THE CREDIT.  NO LUCK, I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT WHY THERE WAS NO CREDIT ISSUED YET. I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY ENTERTAINMENT CENTER IN THE FIRST PLACE SO WHY THE DELAY?

AGAIN HE SAID IT WAS WITH THE BOOKEEPING DEPT AND THEY HAVE NO PHONE.  

WELL TODAY IS MARCH 15TH AND NO CREDIT.  I CALLED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO FILE A DISPUTE AS IT NOW HAS BEEN 31 DAYS.

I had ordered some furniture for my new home. 10 days later I called to find out when to expect delivery.  When I was told it would take 30 days, I cancelled my order. 
They debited my credit card immediately at the time of order, and now they tell me I have to wait 45 days to get my money back.  That is unacceptable!  I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I bought a desk that was suppose to be in stock. After 21 business days I called and they informed that it was out of stock. They then told me it would be in stock in a week. Another week went by still nothing. It went on the same way for over a month. I then canceled and they told me that it takes up to 45 days to credit back. It is now the 45th day and nothing. It is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'm starting to think it is not a real company. DO NOT BUY

Their web site says when product is returned refunds are issued in 1 or 2 days. DON'T BELIEVE IT! It is now going on 2 weeks and they still have not credited my charge card. Every time I call they say it has been forwarded to the accounting dept. but won't tell me when the credit will be issued or why it takes so long. POOR SERVICE!

I ordered a book shelf from their site 28 days ago and had to wait without having any news about the product shipment. I called them today and after a 20 minute wait on the phone, a guy picks up the phone and verifies the order and makes me wait for another 5-10 minutes before telling that I have to wait for another 7 days for the product to arrive at their store and then it will be shipped. When I asked to cancel the order, one of their other representatives told me that it would take 30 days to process the refund and they would not email me a my refund/cancellation confirmation. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged the day I made the purchase online and now I have to lend these furniture buzz guys free money for 60 days for nothing!! who on earth would pay someone free money..I think this is the way they do bussiness- advertise low prices and cheat the people by delaying the shipments and earn free interest on the transaction!! disgusting....never shopping with these guys again!!
