I should have checked e-pinions before I ordered a Garmin Nuvi from this company.  The product does not work. The only way to contact them is by e-mail and their response is they do not offer refunds. This policy was not anywhere obvious on their website.
 There was no shipping invoice. The inner box was scuffed and clearly looked like it had been around the block.  There was an express Mail label  dated February 2006 on the inner box.  The outer shipping box was FedEx.  I don't get it.  Was it returned by someone else before I got it?
There is no address on the box or the website in order for me to return it.  I am exaspirated with this experience.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.  ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.  ORDERED AN ITEM, BUT, MY SON WANTED SOMETHNG ELSE AFTER I HIT THE PLACE ORDER BUTTON.  IMMIDEATELY E-MAILED TO CANCEL ORDER. SENT 5 EMAILS BEGGING TO CANCEL THE ORDER. NO RESPONSE.  BY THE EVENING THE ORDER STATUS CHANGED TO SHIPPED.

As stated on our website during check out and again on your e-mail confirmation of the order, there're no cancellations!  All orders are processed as soon as the "SUBMIT" order button is pressed and therefore an order can not be cancelled.
If you wish to refuse the order delivery, we would be happy to accept the order back, but the back-and-forth shipping fees of $14.95 x 2 = $29.90 and $20 restocking fee would not be refunded, since it would be paid to FedEx.

I ordered a Garmin GPS. I kept on checking w/ FEDEX for shipping progress and found that the order info. was received but the GPS was not picked up. I decicided to check reviews, which is what I should have done before hand. Finding no good reviews and people stated that equipment is refurbished and not "New", I decided to cancel my order. Even though the GPS had not shipped yet, Foto-Tronix would not let me cancel. They E-Mailed me and let me know that I could refuse delivery, which finally came 10 business days later. I had to pay shipping both ways totaling $30.60. In the mean time I ordered the same GPS w/ the same shipper from BuyDig.com. The GPS cost about $20 more & shipping was only a few dollars, but I received the GPS the next day! Word to the wise. "CHECK REVIEWS"
Just don't shop for price. Service and quality is most important.

they can't fix any problems with an order because they only do orders on line and it's very difficult to purchase an item because cookie issues come up from the INTERNET and a home or alternate address brings problems also.

Excellent experience! Fast delivery! I ordered a Garmin GPS on Tuesday and and on Thursday it was delivered. Foto TRonix sent me e-mail updates throughout and the ordering process was super easy! I did not have to call them and no one tried to "verify" the order or upsell me!!!! Simple and pleasant experience!

FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD!  They sell refurbished merchandise as new.  Tried to register with Garmin and item was previously registered.  Foto Tronix tried to lie and claim they registered it before they sent me the item.  They also charged my card $10 more than what was invoiced.  Currently disputing the charges with the credit card company.

Shopping excillent. Shipping - upon notification that the item had shipped I was provided a FedEx tracking number. However the item didn't go directly to FedEx but to USPS. Final phase of the shipment was by FedEx and trackable.

If anyone knows FOTO-TRONIX mailing address. I bought a GPS at this site in June 2009, the next day I found out that FOTO-TRONIX charged me 75 dollar more than initially quoted. When I send an email for inquiring for additional charges, they said its Canadian custom and border charges. I told them to cancel my order, I have not received the order since I returned to sender and did not receive my money $239.99 back yet. If anyone know address and phone number of this company so I can file a complain against with consumer affairs for getting my money back. Its seem like this company is doing easy earning business.

Waited 5 days to ship when it was claimed to be in stock with a 24-48 hr shipping time, in itself, not that big of a deal. After 4 days the tracking # still was not recognized by FedEx. Upon email inquiry as to when shipping would happen, the response was that it would be shipped as the warehouse manager saw fit to have it arrive within the claimed 10-day shipping period. The reply had a strong terse and rude feel to it. Kind of like an almost acceptable F.U.

DISSATIFIED WITH REQUIRMENT TO PURCHASE CABLE(S) TO COMPLETE REGISTERATION PROCESS. The product was great but very difficult to register due to the fact that I must purchase special USB cable to hook up to my computer to complete the registeration process. The special cable should be included in the initial package.

Shopping experience is terrible. What do you mean by "not taking credit card from Taiwan" ? The money from taiwan is not good to earn ? This is a global socity now and I am asking to ship to US address because I am traveling in US and need the product.Hope your company can change this inflexibility mindset.

Ordered a NEW GPS from Foto-Tronix.com. The unit failed in 3 weeks. I called Garmin and they said the unit was a rebuilt GPS. Garmin is helping me get it repaired. Stay away from Foto-Tronix. They are frauds!!

I purchased the Garmin GPS350 which was advertised and is still advertised by Foto Tronix, with the preloaded 2009 MAP. In my case the product I received from Foto Tronix, came with the 2008 MAP. When I asked Foto Tronix about a exchange for the Garmin GPS350 WITH the  2009 MAP, Foto Tronix said they could not guarantee the second GPS350 would have the 2009 MAP. So it appears the advertisement for this product by Foto Tronix, is misleading and not honest.

I put in my order for a nuvi 350 and it took the appropriate amount of time to get to my US post office box. The thing that I do like like about this whole transaction is that I didn't follow the old addage....if it's too good to be true....it probably is. I ordered the unit after doing some research about the unit and getting great reviews. Well, I should have been researching the company. I got my gps and it was not new, as they had advertised, but was a reconditioned gps. The advertisment even stated it was new, they had even underlined the word new to draw attention to it. I'm a little peved at myself for not doing better research on this company. If you have a chance and are reading this know for a fact that this company advertises as new but ships reconditioned units.

Horrible, unethical merchant!  GPS sold to me as NEW was, in fact, refurbished.  STAY AWAY.  If you buy here, contact the manufacturer and confirm that your product is not refurbished.  When you determine for a fact it is refurbished, (as I did) file a dispute with your credit card. (you will win)  Then file a criminal complaint through the United States Post Office, Office of Inspector General.  Intentionally misrepresenting items and sending them through any carrier is a federal crime (it doesn't matter if it's USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)  Also file through your state's Attorney General office.

I learned too late that the "new" Garmin Nuvi 350 was not new after all and had been "unlocked" in 2007 to the updated 2008 maps as confirmed by the Garmin website. I am waiting to hear from the Foto Tronix company as to whether or not they will send me a new one that was advertised as opposed to the fraudulent item that they sent me.
Does anyone know if you can can get the credit card company to refund the money to me if it is investigated and proven that this company was fraudulent?
Please respond to me to see what my recourse would be whether by credit card refund or legal action.

Ordered "Garmin Nuvi 660 (New)" from Foto Tronix. Billed my card days before the product was actually shipped (poor business practice but legal). Received shipment of a refurbished Garmin Nuvi 680. Emailed them of their "mistake" and they responded with "Please describe in detail how you came to this conclusion". Began to research and found their fraudulent track record. Have no hope of resulution but am filing fraud complaint. DO NOT PURCHASE EVER FROM THIS STORE, YOU WILL, REPEAT WILL, BE RIPPED OFF!!!

PS: all positive feedback for this store and stores like it are left from their own employees, that is, if they have employees and arent just some guy sitting in a house scamming people
