I have ordered from this company 3 times. They provide a price that can't be beat but sacrifice the delivery time (up to 4 months for one order). Quality of the drapes is fine, but missing several brackets for the rods and a few hooks that are installed at the top of the pinched pleat. Overall worth the wait.

Go elsewhere!! After waiting 7 weeks (they don't tell you that up front), my valances came to me in the wrong size. (88 inches short)I was told by the completely arrogant and unapologetic owner that they ran out of fabric, so they made my order with what they had.Have you ever heard of such a thing? I can't tell you the trouble I had with this "company" in such a short space. Please..go somewhere else if you expect to be treated as a valued customer. The owner is am idiot.

They apparently have been unable to keep up with orders or mislead customers. Consequently, the fulfillment of the order is still incomplete and may take six to eight weeks BEYOND expected manufacture-date with shipping time to be added to that time.

The good: easy on-line ordering, free, fast swatches available.

The bad: had to wait several weeks for shipment. Hard to be patient.

The great: Excellent workmanship, great price (I got 50% off), and absolutely gorgeous window treatments.

Plan ahead and you'll be as delighted as I (next time I won't be in a rush).

FDD was quick to respond to my initial request for fabric samples. They followed up by phone a few days after I'd received the sample, leaving a voicemail message. I've received multiple e-mails notifying me of their 50% off specials. I have not received notification of how long it might take to process my order.

I received my drapes and installed them and was immediately impressed by their high quality which surpassed my expectations.  The drapes look and feel beautiful and the fit is perfect.  I was skeptical about ordering drapes online, but I am happy to recommend Factory Direct Drapes and their online ordering process.  Their customer service is highly professional; someone always responded promptly to my phone calls and emails and was helpful.

There was a delay because the fabric was no longer available. But overnight samples helped me choose another fabric and the delay was not a problem. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I'm about to make another.

I received fabric samples promptly, and the website is very easy to use. I contacted the merchant via email inquiring about projected delivery date and received a response the following day. So far so good.

I am very pleased with the quality of the pinch pleated drapes that I\we ordered. The organic cotton with blackout lining looks great, and they clearly help insulate our large windows against heat loss here in the cold Northeast. They evidently have a large volume of work, and you must be patient with delivery. In my case, it took an additional two or three weeks from the time they initially estimated shipment.

ordered drapes 12/12. when they did not show up by new years emailed company. they said would be shipped the following week. they then sent up link to UPS. Ups states will not be here for yet another additional week arriving 1/10. Not sure what it means to advertise that they ship in 7-10 days.

Full service company who far exceeded expectations in responsiveness, quality, workmanship and compliance with customer wants.  Web page was easy to use and their assistance was instanteous.  I was surprised that the customed made drapes arrived within two weeks and the quality was excellent.  The drapes were shipped "ready to be hung" and I was pleasantly pleased that even the hooks were included.

I was skeptical about ordering custom drapes on line--especially when the price was about 10% of the cost of some one local making the drapes.  I expected a mark-up locally but not 90%!  I could not have gotten the quality of material, workmanship and speed of delivery any other place.

I will recommend Factory Direct Drapes to anyone and will be ordering more in the near future.

It was an awesome experience! Website very user friendly. They had an instructional video on the proper way to measure for your drapes that helped me avoid a disaster. They rapidly responded to my questions and truly made me feel like a valued customer. I received my drapes within the projected time frame and they are absolutely beautiful! I'm thrilled with my experience and have taken pictures and told my friends and family. I will absolutely use this company again!

I ordered a pair of drapes in November. When I received them I got 3 times as much drape as I needed. I called and was told that it was an error on my end in measuring and I don't agree with that at all. In fact I had my boyfriend talk to the the person who placed the order and go over the measurements again. Then I had to return the drapes so that they could be made smaller and waited another 2 1/2 months total to get the right ones. I was not too happy. Also, I was told that I paid too much ($302.40) and it should have been around $168.00 so I overpaid for the "mistake" $134.40. I would never order again nor would I recommend this company to anyone. In all fairness, considering I ordered these and was billed on 11/25/09 and did not receive the drapes (correct size) on 1/21/10 I think something should be done on your part to make this right. I never had a problem ordering anything via the internet until this happened. I hope to hear from you with some kind of resitution. Sincerely, Elaine Barber
