While I have not received the product ordered, I was not very happy with the fact that it seems your website does not provide a secure payment page.  That concerned me greatly but because I didn't feel like looking for the product I wanted on another site, I provided my card number.  I feel very uneasy about doing that.  Please consider a secure environment for your customers.

THE WORST INTERNET BUYING SITE EVER

I have had the WORST experience using Essential Apparel! The website to begin with was hard to navigate and my searches didn't come up with what I was looking for. It took me over 30 minutes to find ONE item! After I had ordered the item and given my money to them, my item didn't leave the wearhouse for over a week! I wrote them an e-mail asking about my order and the shipping details, funny part- they just happened to ship it out that day. Now three days later, USPS has no record of anything coming out of there for me and it seems like the "tracking number" they have given me is incorrect. (or Fake) I'm not a happy customer and DONT EVER ORDER FROM HERE!

Essential Apparel has a very good selection of athletic clothing at a very reasonable price. I purchase all my sportswear and layered clothing from them and I have been satisfied so far that I have gone back to them. Clothing descriptions  have been very accurate and I am happy with my purchases. I prefer clothing that wick away moisture while I am jogging and they have a great supply to choose from.

Shipping and handling prices are very competitive and I have enjoyed shopping there.

The few times that I have emailed customer service, I either did not hear back from them or there was a really long period before they got back to me.

I have had no problem with the order accuracy, but the speed of delivery isn't what I expect, since I don't live to far from them. The shipping method, USPS, although it is no fault of Essential Apparel, the tracking number is useless. It only confirms that a package had been notified for pick-up. I have never really been able to track any package that I have purchase.

HORRIBLE!!

Extremely poor service.  No follow up indication of shipment.  Expensive shipping charge for regular mail. Etc. Etc.  Worst I've had this Christmas season out of about 30 orders placed with about 10 different merchants.

Excellent price and service

This will be my second purchase from Essential Apparel. My brand of underwear is difficult to find in stores today, if not impossible. I love Munsingwear full rise briefs and have never found them in any store here in Tucson. I comparison shopped on the Internet for quite a while and not only does Essential Apparel carry my brand but the price cannot be beat. The icing on the cake is that I can pay for my purchases through Amazon.  Now that is a trifecta!

Priority shipping indicates estimated delivery to be 2-5 days...they fail to mention that is on top of the 2 days it will take it to be shipped from their location. NOT EVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN! Do not like to be mislead, makes me wonder what else is not on the up and up.

Very slow shipping, ordered on Oct 9, order shipped on Oct 14, when I called customer service they could not even tell me if my order was shipping complete, some of these items were needed this weekend, had to go locally and buy a comparable product. Not sure if I will return the products at this point or keep them, very unhappy with the level of service

I made my first and last order from Essential Apparel. The worst Web buying experience I have ever had in my life. The sold me a item they could not even find. I don't think they found it yet far as I know. There customer service is a joke. Caution beware of Essential Apparel!!!!!! I have been waiting 10 days for my order to be shipped, I wonder how many months it going to take to get my money back

Extremely Disappointed!

Purchased various merchandise from Essential Apparel in the past. Was always satisfied until recently. Purchased 3 pair of socks. Was charged $3.99 for delivery. The socks took 8 days to get to me. When I notified the customer service crew they were less than helpful.
Based on the slow - yet expensive delivery and an indifferent customer service crew, I will not make any further purchases. When most companies are offering free shipping and you can get your merchandise almost next day, who needs to wait 8 days? I think what happened to Essential Apparel happens to a lot of companies. They get too big and forget basic, fundamental customer service skills.

I had a great return experience

I felt I had to put my excellent experience with them in here to balance the bad.  The item I ordered arrived quickly, but was the wrong size.  This was not their fault but Minus33's, I have to assume, as the box it came in was labelled differently than the actual garment.  Customer service was apologetic and immediately helpful and I received the return shipping label in two days with the correct size shirt the day after that (before I had returned the original).  I was prepared for the worst given all the bad reviews about returns, but I really can't say anything bad.  It was all professionally, cheerfully and quickly handled.  And I love the shirt.  No reason not to buy from them again.

Terrible Customer Service

They are slow and will take orders for items they do not have. I just found out a week after I ordered something that it is backordered. I was not informed of this until 1-17 after ordering it on 1-11. This is a terrible customer experience.

the worst shopping expereience ever!
1. 3 business days after I placed my order, a customer service guy told me my order would be shipped by the 4th business day.
2. business day 7,nothing had been shipped.I contacted them, they told me one of the item is back-ordered.
3.business day 10, they charged my credit card without shipping anything.
4 business day 11, I emailed them that I want to cancel the back-ordered item and asked them to ship the available item as soon as they can.
5 business day 12, it looks like that they shipped the entire order without notifying me.

I just ordered a pair of Thermasilk longjohns through Amazon.com and it arrived in 3 days. Paid $29 vs $39 at Paragon. I'm satisified with my order and would be willing to purchase from them again. I read some of the reviews to see if there were any concerns of authenticity of the merchandise but didn't find any. I did notice quite a few people upset about returns. As a suggestion, whenever you order anything online, if it takes you more than one phone call to get a refund, just dispute it with your credit card company and problem solved. Just say the merchant is unresponsive and the credit card company will issue you a credit and deal with the merchant themselves. I do it all the time.

Lied about availability.

I wish I had read the reviews here before I ordered.  On Bizrate, they had a nice smiley rating.  But I can't seem to add a review there.
Placed order Monday 12/13 for item that claimed to be "in stock" and "ships in 1 to 2 days".  4 days later, order status is still "warehouse".  No estimate of when it will actually ship.  Phone customer service was very courteous and told me that they are backlogged for the Christmas rush, but it would ship that day or the next.  That was 2 days ago.  I'm not holding my breath.

I'm skeptical as to the veracity of the claim that they actually have the item in question.

UPDATE:  1 week after purchase, they email to say item is back-orderd, will take 10-14 days.  Next day, email says they will not be getting the item - canceling my order.  Website still said "in stock".
As Isuspected,  they lied when they said they had the item and delay was due to Christmas rush.

Thanks for wasting my time.

Slow delivery and shipping. Ordered simple shoe liners which are like panty hose to cover toes and heel and it took more than a week to ship, plus they said they are out of black even though it did not mention that on the web site. These things are so simple even Payless has them. Had my assistant cancel the order and find another store, but they said the cream color was shipped already.

A Dishonest Company - Don't Shop With Them!!!

I ordered a couple of items at the very beginning of December for Christmas presents.  Only the item I could have bought more cheaply at any store arrived.  After two weeks, the other item - which they post as "usually ships within 48 hours" showed on back order. 

When I called to ask if it would arrive by Christmas, they said no.  They said it always sells out way before Christmas.  It happens every year.  I said, but I just checked online.  It still says "usually ships within 48 hours."

Their phone rep's attitude was basically, screw you, sucker!

Worst online shopping experience of my life.

I've had the worst online shopping experience of my life with Essential Apparel.  In fact, this is the first time I've ever written a review for a company and it was this one that drove me to near insanity.  My brother's Christmas gift was on backorder, and they told me this 2 WEEKS after I placed the order.  Needless to say it did not arrive on time.  After Christmas, I checked on the status of the item, and it was still on backorder.  Every time I checked, "Backorder, 2 weeks."  At this point it had been 2 MONTHS.  Finally, I cancelled it and ordered it through Amazon, I believe.  Today, nearly 3 MONTHS later, I received an email saying my order was still on hold, after I had already cancelled it.  Every time I email them I ask them to confirm that they receive my emails and get no reply.  Their customer service line hours are only 9 to 5 and it is now 6:12 so I can't speak to anyone.  Die Essential Apparel, DIE.

They are horrible about returns

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM EVER AGAIN, AND YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER.     I ordered 4 pair of jeans because at my local store they did not have that size or color.  I got the jeans, but I had ordered the wrong size. I did not wear them, tags were still on.  I ordered a second order to replace the wrong size, and sent back the original order. It cost me 13 dollars at UPS.  It got there in 2 days, and they did not credit me for 3 weeks!!! PLUS if you qualify for free shipping, you get free shipping, but if you return something, they STEAL 6.99 from your return.   So, they got over 20 bucks from me, for nothing.

Slow Shipping, Poor Communication

I placed an order 6 days ago. I have checked my order status on their website twice in the last few days, and both times the shipping ETA has been pushed back. The latest estimate puts the order at shipping 8 days after I placed the order, but I expect that will be pushed back as well. I have not been kept up to date on why my order is delayed, and I think that is unacceptable. Just as the title says, Slow Shipping, Poor Communication.

I ordered 3 sweatshirts and 3 pairs of sweatpants over the web. I received an email notification that my order was confirmed and that I would receive a tracking number upon shipment. In a few days I received a shipment with one pair of sweatpants, about a week later I received the other two pairs of pants, but it has been over a month and I have not seen the shirts. I called customer service today and they were not much help, they just told me that they were on back order and that they did not know when the order would be filled. This is very frustrating, when I placed the order it did not indicate that the product was not in stock.

I ordered jeans from essentialapparel.com over the web. The order was confirmed in all respect and I received an email confirming the order and indicating that a tracking number would be forthcoming right away. I then received an email saying that the jeans were not in stock and would be shipped when they received them. Nowhere had they indicated that the jeans were not in stock. I will not deal with them again.
