We ordered the Panasonic SD-YD250 Breadmaker on 12-12-06. It was supposed to be shipped within two days. Checked the website daily, and it stated that the package was in packaging stage. Called on 12-18-06, and was told that the package was to be upgraded to 2 day service, and it would be delivered on the 20th. The 20th arrived, and there was no package, so I called. I was lied to by the customer service rep saying that my roommate just called to get information on the item, which he did not. Was told that the package would arrive on the 21st, and it did. The breadmaker was shipped in the original packing box without any other protective material. Opened the box to find that the lid was broken. E-mailed Etronics and didn't receive a response for two days. Called them to get RMA, but was informed that we needed to put the original box in another box for protection. DUH! Why wasn't it shipped to us that way??? We sent the breadmaker back, and it cost $40.00. If I had known it would cost this much money, I would have kept it and tried to find a lid for it. It has been almost 2 weeks, and there hasn't been a credit to our account. I am going to call the credit card company today to dispute. They will get the money back. This is the worst online company that I have ever ordered form, and I do most of my shopping online (we live in a rural area). I would never shop from them again! They are obviously a bunch of crooks!
