I tried eToys because they contribute to Upromise.
I've ordered from eToys three times. My first order was a shambles. They shipped very late, and then they shipped a toy in a mangled box. It was packaged well, and the exterior box was intact, so the packaging was definitely damaged before they shipped it. , but I gave them the benefit of the doubt... mistakes happen.
My second order was substandard, but not a disaster.
On my third order, they missed their promised delivery date by over two weeks. This was for a Christmas present. I bought the present from somewhere else, and I was left to return the merchandise to eToys. Then I had to pay the return shipping!
As soon as you place your order, you can't make any changes or cancel your order. If you change your mind, you have to return the item(s).
If something is wrong with your order, all you can do is return the item and hope for a refund.
They have non-existent customer support. There is an 800 number, but there is no way to reach a human on the other end. If you go through their phone maze, the only answers you get are the ones that are on the website.
I will never buy from eToys again.
