I am brand new to photography. I jumped in with both feet getting a Nikon D80 using gift certificates from my kids at a local photography store. This store didn't have the lense I wanted for my daughters upcoming wedding. Though Nikon said they had been released Months ago, no stores had them. All encouraged pre-ordering them. I wrote Nikon explaining my need for my daughters wedding. They said these were shipped the prevous week - get to your dealer ASAP. I called the store I purchased my initial equipment and several others on the internet. They all encouraged me to pre-order but none would tell me my chances on getting this lense. Did they know 1000 people has pre-ordered and usually Nikon will send 100 out on initial releases, etc No one would help with any information so I could make an informed decision to preorder something, except ephotocraft. They helped me technically, they checked and told me they hadn't received them yet but I had a good chance of getting this lense if I ordered then. Fearful I was getting a snowjob, I decided to go with them. Their responses were different than the others. I received everything they said I would, its a month before the wedding. They saved me from stress and worries, as well as they delivered on what they said they did. They sent out email info to inform me of pending shipment. I will definitely go back to them again.
It was Epinions.com initial review of them, that helped me make my decision.
