I ordered a lighter from this website and it was a gift really loved by my mother. She was thrilled. I had it engraved with her name and the engraving came out beautiful. I couldn't be happier with my purchase with elighters.com. I would definitely shop with them again.

They engraved and my and shipped my items within two days. I ordered some lighters as groomsmen gifts on monday and the order arrived on thursday. The engraving was done perfectly and the quality of the lighters was good. They gave me a free lighter because I bought so many lighters. I would definitely shop here again.

I ordered some lighters and cigar cases from elighters. To my surprise, my products were delivered within 3 days. Engraving was done perfectly and product quality was great. I would certainly recommend them to my friends.
Customer service was prompt in responding to my questions and was very attentive to my concerns before buying. |

I ordered some cufflinks from this site for groomsmen gifts. What I received could not be more different than what I ordered. The black trim looked like it was painted by someone with a shaky hand. Lets just say that they did not paint between the lines. When trying to return the item the manager treated me with disrespect and hostility. I would not recommend this to an enemy (it would mean more business for this bad company). I am starting a site called elighterssucks.com and would encourage others with bad experiences to submit their stories.

Ordered a lighter with engraving a few months before Thanks Giving so I would have it for Thanks Giving. Received order confirmation, but no delivery date, etc. or contact info. After 2 weeks got a call for the engraving (what font..?). 10 days later, got the lighter. The lighter did not work. E-mailed elighters.com, who asked me to ship the lighter back to them at my own expense. Now, this is a very pricey lighter as is so the $$ is adding up. Anyways, got no correspondence from them whether they received it, what the problem was, can they fix it...?. Received the lighter about a week before Thanks Giving, still not working! WTF? I e-mail them and their response: here's the dealer's snail mail address, mail it to them, again at my expense. i speak to the dealer who says at best they will not charge me to ship the item BACK to me when they fix it...!! WTF, again. So it's after Thanks Giving and I'm sending the lighter out to the dealer with baited breath and fingers crossed. P.S., just because they are featured on yahoo.com shopping, doesn't mean they are reliable or even close.

FYI, elighters.com has a parent company of Cigary.com. They don't answer messages or emails. I placed an order on a Thursday morning, received it after 6 business days w/o any type of response. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere to do business. I sent 3 emails and received no response...poor customer service.
I also intended to use some of these products on a vacation trip, but was unable to do so because of the extremely long delay between shipment and delivery. I was extremely disappointed with their level of service. They claim that orders are shipped the next business day. I had no special engraving done, nor did I order something that was out of stock. Another point to be made is that my credit card was charged as soon as I placed my order, but the order was not shipped for 4 business days! I was 24hrs away from filing a fraud claim with my bank thinking that this was a fake business. (Due to the lack of communication.) This was a horrible experience with this company, and will NEVER do business with them again. You have been warned. |

I ordered a couple of items for groomsmen gifts for a wedding - items ordered with express shipping on the third of January and I still have not received them on the 17th.
Too late for the wedding, and multiple attempts at contacting customer service have gone unanswered. This is the worst retailer I have ever done business with. |

Bad Experience

This store is terrible. I ordered a $200 pocket watch, which was supposed to be shipped in 1-2 days. The watch was a wedding present. It still hasn't arrived and the wedding is now over.
Worse, there has been no communication from elighters as to where the watch is. The "tracking" page elighters provided hasn't updated since I bought the watch. It still say the watch will be shipped pending August 1. It is now August 10. When I emailed elighters for an update about a week ago, there was no response. When I wrote a review about this experience on Yahoo (this company is affiliated with Yahoo shopping) I received an automated response stating that elighters is currently closed for inventory. This is my worst Internet shopping experience yet. |
