Lousy, Dishonest, HORRIBLE, Never again will I shop at ecost!

After placing my order with ecost I realized a couple of very important things:
1. Make sure to read ALL the information on the web page
2. Read the reviews

I placed an order for an HP printer with ecost yesterday 6/8/09, their web site said the printer was "In Stock" and would ship the next day.  Today 6/9/09, I get an e-mail that says the "Order is Cancelled".  I placed a phone call to customer service.  I informed the customer service rep my order number and asked why my order was cancelled?  I was informed that the "item was out of stock".  While speaking to the rep I went on line, only to find out the item is still listed in stock. While the rep is trying to figure out what to tell me, I kept looking for another printer.  I found the same printer for about $140.00 more, they said they could ship that one to me for the additional money.  I then requested a Supervisor, I received no help from him either.  He did not try to satisfy me in any way, shape or form.  He also did not explain how the same item can be $140.00 more.  They now have ALL my personal information, I have no printer, and a very uneasy feeling about this company.  I am going to let everyone I know NOT TO DEAL WITH ECOST FOR ANYTHING. Needless to say I have purchased the same printer from another company for a little bit more money ($20.00), and I am a lot more comfortable with sale.  If I treated my customers the way I was treated I would be out of business.  Bottom line is ecost is horrible, dishonest and not reliable.  I will be in touch with the Better Business Bureau.
