AVOID eCOST.com! False advertising & worst customer service ever!

I purchased a refurbished Dyson DC17 Animal from ecost.com. There were certain accessories that I thought I would be receiving since they were described in the product overview, photos of them were shown in the product description, and they were listed in the product features list. I did not receive the accessories. When I called ecost.com to ask about this, I spoke to two different customer service people (grand total of 50 minutes on the phone!) and they were both rude and unhelpful. Instead of actually listening to my problem and trying to help me understand what had happened, they both simply repeated the same things over and over (as if reading from a script) and refused to connect me to a supervisor. I ended up finding out from Dyson directly that the missing accessories do not actually come with the refurbished vacuum I purchased, and it only took me 5 minutes on the phone with the helpful, friendly Dyson people to find this out. Dyson told me that if a reseller advertises the accessories as being part of the refurbished vacuum that it is the reseller's responsibility to provide the accessories. Therefore, since ecost.com advertised the accessories, they should have provided them. ecost.com refused to accept this responsibility or even apologize for falsely advertising the items on their website. I have never received worse customer service ever in my life. ecost.com has generally bad reviews all over the web, and for good reason - they suck! I took a chance on them to get a great deal, and even though I got that great deal I would have rather paid more to buy the exact same item (sans accessories) from another retailer.
