eBay is wonderful!!! I love shopping on eBay because I can shop at home and don't have to leave and go to several stores to get what I want. I live in a rural community so many times I have to drive 30-45 minutes to get to stores that sell what I am looking for. With eBay, I don't have to do that.

I have just recently starting getting into Ebay and have so far not had one negative experience with this website. I have been able to find cheap deals on really great items that are in excellent condition and the feedback really helps me make sure that my money is going to someone who is legit and I have not been ripped off once. It is also a great place to sell items to make extra cash!

Sign up was easy and I could start bidding right away. They have a good knowledge center so you can find out how bidding works and what to be aware of. I have received all my orders on time. Any issues I have come across, they have been very helpful and quick to answer questions.

We are not basically buyers with them but we are sellers on eBay India and our experiences with their customer service is not very good.
They take 72 or more hours to answer the important questions and most of the time they questions are vague not related to our questions and their typical style is copy and paste their terms and conditions and policies to questioner.
sometimes your listings will not appear in search at all.
At least in India they don't charge insertion fees which is good.But I personally think they should not charge any fees for insertion all over the world.

I have used ebay for many things, selling and buying. They are perfect for children's clothes and accessories.

Customer service is very good. They have always been easy to contact and response is very quick.

Each purchase is an individual situation, so delivery speed and satisfaction is based on purchase to purchase. Ebay makes it easy to know ahead of time if there may be a problem with the seller or buyer with their ratings system. It is great to read others experiences with a particular member to know whether you should move forward with bidding.

I recommend ebay for anyone. You can find just about everything there. We even found a dress for my daughter that was the same as one I had and loved when I was her age. I have a photo of me wearing this Winnie the Pooh dress when I was a toddler. We purchased it and will have her photo taken in it. Then we will frame it side by side with mine. A dress from the early 70's in perfect condition!! Where else could you find something like that?

I have purchased numerous items from eBay Online Store. It has been, for the most part. I did have one problem. I bought an item and sent the money. Sometime passed before I learned that they had not shipped the item or that they thought they had but hadn't. After about 3 months and some aggressive conversation.
EBay was quite helpful in this matter.

Ebay is a popular site for selling/buying products. I have used Ebay for purchasing and selling a couple of times. It's a good source for extra income. Although you can encounter some buyers who will not pay or returned your stuff damaged! I do enjoy selling at ebay and it can be addicting!

Misleading and Disappointing with AJ Madison.
I live in Canada and I've ordered Kitchen Aid 2 element Cook-top Kecc056rbl price $459 Us. Weight 22 lbs. I've been told by Alen Rosenfeld that unit weights 42 lb for shipping and I have to ship it as a UPS freight for $190US. Not knowing the difference between freight and standard shipping I agreed. When UPS called 2 weeks later that we have to hire separate broker to process this for customs. Which added another $115.20 to cost (excluding canadian charge GST&PST for the unit). When unit I've confirmed that unit weights only 22 lb and could be easy shipped UPS Standard for $42.28 US and brokerage fee would be processed by UPS for approximately $20 - 25 CND. Total Saving $148US plus $90CND = $250. I've contacted Aj Madison Customer Service on 2nd of March but zero progress to come to a some compromise. Conclusion is that I was mislead and I'd not buy and recommend to buy anything from AJ Madison even though starting price may look promising.

I love eBay but some of the comments are correct about being strong armed into giving a bad eBay seller a good feedback. So do what they do. Close out your account and open another. You will have a clean feedback record. Read the sellers negative remarks before bidding. Don't buy from someone that has had problems that sound suspect. In other words, just use caution. That's a life lesson that most people learn before they reach adulthood. I must admit that most everything I buy on eBay, I could find for a better price if I wait and look at garage sales, flea markets, church bazaars and second hand shops. When I choose to buy from eBay, I take my chances just like everyone else. So if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is!

I have never had a problem with any portion of Ebay. Delivery has been great, no issues with accuracy of orders. Customer service has all been at my finger tips when I have a question or issue. Just try it for your self, be your own judge. It's the best shopping tool any person should use.

The sad part about ebay is that there is absolutely no regulation whatsoever, especially anything preventing the seller from bidding up his/her own items. Although I have never sold anything on Ebay yet, I have seen peers make massive profits by bidding up their own sale items, and I see it done all the time with online vendors.

What I really cannot believe is that people actually believe the "retail" prices of the items listed and stupid people that pay almost what one can buy things for in a regular department store.

E-Bay is awesome. You can find about anything you are looking for and often save big bucks through the no reserve auctions. I have sold 3 cars, bought numerous electronic items with no problem. As in life, sometimes you do run into a crook, but E-Bay has placed so many safeguards, its almost impossible for someone to rip you off now.

I've had very good experiences with selling and buying things off ebay. I always get quality products but have heard the some others do not. Very easy to get addicted to and very easy to blow your budget because your so caught up in going going higher and higher with the auctions just to win. Most if not all of my items have arrived within a week. Fair prices and easy to get deals if you know what you are looking for and the retail prices of items.
