first i will say you can get things a lot cheaper and sometimes faster shopping on eBay that's for sure but my main reason for shopping on eBayon a regular basis is to find those hard to find items you know like movies CD,s games consoles etc.the price of such collectibles can be won at a reasonable price i also like the buy it know option, but not always the cheapest route. o.k. first i will say for some auctioning can be very competitive and easy to pay more than its worth so what i do be fore i bid is check other places like Amazon.com overstock and Half.com and other places known for cheap items to make sure you are in deed getting the best price because most auctioneers forget you are on eBay to save money not bid the price so high that you might as well had bought it else where that's the first thing. once you've verified its the best price use the ask seller a question function and ask on the detailed condition of item if its not listed cause most times its not like scratches and conditions of cases etc. and also some times they list the item under the wrong UPC code because they don't take the time to find out there are sometimes different versions of an item. now remember there are sometimes nasty people on eBay who refuse to give detailed info on a item report them and move on because there are scam artist on eBay read all seller and buy rules before making any purchase. Now last but not least make sure the shipping is not ridiculously high they will have a item listed at $2.00 and them have shipping like $30.00 for a DVD,we all know no DVD cost that to ship in the U.S. using normal postage so remember to check the shipping so you can include in your final eBay purchase to guarantee you are getting the best deal for your money.
