Good prices, poor service and follow-up on problems

Easy website to navigate, plenty of selections at great prices. The downside ? Actually getting your product.

I ordered a backpack for my son, who was leaving on a trip 2 weeks from placing order. The website confirmed a delivery date which would get the bag to us a week before his departure. I checked online a few days before the arrival date, and saw that shipping details were still not available. That didn't concern me too much, as the expected arrival date still showed the original one, and it did also state that shipping details might not be current.
I called though, to make sure bag was enroute. Customer service told me that the bag had not been shipped, and was out of stock. This was almost a week after original order was placed, with no email informing me of a back-order status. We chose another color, and C/S told me they would have it out next day. That didn't happen either. I had to call the next day and again go thru same thing with C/S.

EBags finally 2nd day aired bag to me, and received it 1 day before son's departure.

Their selections are numerous, and their prices are very competitive. You can always find coupon codes on-line somewhere for 10-20% discounts, or free shipping - just go to Google.com and type in EBags coupons. Just be sure to keep on top of your order, and leave plenty of time if you need something by a specific date.
