100% fraudulent outfit. Ordered and paid for 2 fishing rods that still haven't arrived in Australia 7 weeks later. I received an email confirmation of the order, with a Fedex tracking number, that turned out to be invalid. I have contacted their "Live Chat" support on 4 separate occasions, with absolutely no satisfaction - all they do is confirm the order number that I already have, and confirm the invalid Fedex tracking number. When I try the "Order Status" on the eAngler website, there is no record of my transaction.

Took over a month for them to tell me they didn't have the items in stock, and were not going to get them. I called and emailed them over and over, and got hung up on repeatedly by their system and reps. It is a complete scam and a waste of my time. This is a horrible company, and I wouldn't doubt it's not even real.

I have been trying to cancel an order. I was never given a confirmation number and they email me saying that that they must have my confirmation number and my email address. Really. They email me asking for my email address. When I contacted their live chat, it was apparent that the person was juggling many people at once as he would ask for my name and zip code, wait five to ten minutes and ask for that information again. This is the worst customer service experience that I have ever had.

I was charged way too much for shipping and one of the items I ordered turned out to be out of stock. I forefitted the remaining balance on my giftcard because the shipping charges were rediculous compared to the price of the item being shipped. $50 dollars for a pair of pliers and 2 rubber swim baits is outgareous. Shipping in a "flat rate box" from the USPS would benefit the customer a lot better than the excessive shipping rates you currently charge.

Ordered
Avet $429 Reel on 9/30/10 person taking order said it was in stock and would ship on 10/1/10 on 10/8/10 I called and person said they would send me an e-mail on the arrival/ship date --they did the same day and said the reel would arrive by 10/12/10.
To date no reel has arrived or been shipped --I sent an e-mail to cancel the order if not shipped by 10/28/10 tomorrow.

Good customer service, if you're willing to work through it. If you buy an item through this company, make sure it's what you want. Working out problems can be a bit of a problem, especially if you need to return an item.I

I don't mind paying for a service, but if I pay for a service I very well expect to receive the service. I payed for overnight service and the item was shipped regular freight and took 5 days to deliever and was told that is the way it is live with it, I wish I was so big that I could do business that way and if this is the way they do business, No I will not buy from them again.

Good experience overall. Only problem was that I asked for the merchandise to be delivered to my work address rather than my home/billing address (to be sure my husband didn't see the package). However the package was delivered to my home address anyway. Fortunately I happened to go home early one day amd found the merchandise sitting at my front door. Also, my order didn't take properly online and I had to make a phone call to complete the order. I was worried about internet fraud until my order arrived.

Never buy from them, especially if you are buying something you need to try on. If you need to exchange your purchase they will charge you shipping both ways and they will tell you that it'll take 15 to 20 business days. So you end up paying three S&H charges (that is if you guess your size correctly on the second try) and waiting for more than a moth. And if you want to discuss it with somebody - there is no phone number. Their very deceiving website makes you believe you are dealing with reputable company - Boaters World. In fact they are no-name pretenders, trying to take advantage of you. Avoid at all cost!

This is my first order with E Angler they were easy to deal with shipped very fast and the product was good buy comparing to other on line stores. I have another order for boat seats I hope to get the same excellent treatment for them also.

Customer service stinks! Ordered a rod/reel fishing combo. Good price, quick shipping, but received product broken. Indian outsourced customer service would not replace. Only option was to send back and re-order. Problem is, since I used a $50 Amazon gift certificate they would only refund the actual amount I paid and then I'd have to re-order at 100% price or $50 more! The rod tip was broken off and I just wanted to swap out the rod. This was not possible.

Bad experience with eAngler. One product was out of stock and the other was back ordered for five weeks or so and its a product you use in the SUMMER. eAngler did not tell us this when they advertised the products and now I have to spend time trying to get my money back.
