 I had ordered the "plush collection" and paid more than what I saw on other sites because I wanted a fabric bag.  At that time, the item was labled "plush" and there was no mention of vinyl in the copy or specs (I was double checking to make sure).  However, what was delivered was a vinyl bag.  In addition, going to the page I had bookmarked now brings up a vinyl bag for $37 or so instead of the plush bag for $55 I paid for.  Cymax refused to admit their mistake and refused to refund the difference.  NEVER SHOP HERE!

I thought from the name of the product (sheepskin pelt) that it was made from the hide of a sheep. After recieving it I went back and saw that the discription does clearly state (faux fur) My bad :-)

Merchandise recieved in good condition with all pieces in package. The only drawback is you need a Robertson head screwdriver which is not in everybodies tool chest, especially mine.

The color advertised was no where near the color of the product I received. The difference was between a light brown and an beige color. I will be returning the product and suggest that the color samples should be reviewed to determine if they truly reflect the color of the product to be shipped. Product has to be returned because of this.

two exceptions to the above--- the original charge I agreed to was debited from my checking account on 9/18, however a second unauthorized debit in the amount of $2.84 was also made to my account on 9/18. Please explain. Also the bottom hinge lower end cap has one of its fastening ears broken off (not a serious concern).

Cymax was excellent. Home Styles cabinet had a flaw, but they say a new drawer front is coming. Cymax's free shipping and tax free sale was incredibly helpful in being able to afford the pieces I wanted. I priced the same unit in 6 or 7 other places and nowhere was the price better.

Pleasant experience, however the grill which I received had the ignition wired backwards because following the directions, I realized that the directions indicated that the positive side of the AA battery should be put in first, actually, it was the opposite.

The piece that the hinges are screwed into came broken, but did not affect the overall construction of the stereo cabinet. Otherwise, my experience with Cymax was very good. I would buy again at Cymax.

One of the three products I ordered was discontinued. I received a phone call two days after the order was accepted, stating that one of the pieces of the bedroom set was discontinued. I was given the option to cancel the order or receive the two pieces of the bedroom set. I told the customer service representative that I would like to cancel the order and purchase the bedroom set complete from another store. I heard the customer service representative typing to cancel my order and I was told I would receive confirmation that the order was cancelled in a couple of business days. That was on a Friday. On the following Monday I saw that my account I used to place the order was credited for the full amount of the order. A couple of days later (Thursday) I had a message on my answering machine from a delivery company that they had a mattress for me and would like to schedule an appointment for delivery. Three phone calls later I think I have the problem resolved. The mattress was coming from another company and for some reason (which I still do not know) was not informed. I also did not recieve a cancellation of the order, but my money was returned/credited to my account.

The box arrived damaged and 2 wood pieces had gouges in them. The manufacturer is sending replacement pieces. Assembly took me 7 hours and at some point needed the help of another person, as they stated in the instruction assembly guide.

Shopping experience was good. However, Fed Ex left my two boxes in front of the wrought iron gate to my patio! According to my online information, I was to inspect the boxes and note any damage when I signed. The boxes were simply left in front of my gate and no one came to my door to require a signature. The boxes could have easily been stolen since they were outside my patio in plain sight from the street. Pretty irresponsible I thought.

Good selection but nothing else. Tracking information was never updated. Also customer was not notified about the product being sold out, and not available to ship for 3-5 months. Could not answer question 2 because customer has not recieved the product yet so said no.

The shopping experience was fine however I did have issues with delivery. By using the on-line tracking I found that my order was going to be delivered earlier than expected, which was bad because I was going to be out of town when it arrived. I called FedEx and asked them to hold the shipment for a day which they told me they would. However, when I checked on-line again, I found they had ignored my request and delivered my package anyway. This led to me frantically calling my co-workers to see if anyone could take my order into their home until I arrived home. Only then was I told that there were no packages to be found outside my home. I called Fed Ex to find out what was going on and they told me they had left my order with one of my neighbors. This was upsetting because I have only lived in my neighborhood for a couple of months and don't know all of my neighbors. I'm lucky my neighbors are good people and didn't decide to keep my order for themselves! So I was extremely disappointed in my delivery because Fed Ex ignored my request, gave my order to strangers and never notified that they had done so.

Online ordering was fairly straightforward and the item arrived by the promised delivery date. With the exception of one damaged shelf which will not be visible when assembled, each part was intact and assembly was easy.
