I purchased an EdgeStar 28 bottle wine cooler from CompactAppliance.com and was very impressed with the price of the item and their customer service department. I was happy I could speak with a live person who was knowledgeable and very helpful in helping me decide on the right item to meet my needs. The cooler arrived very quickly and has been working great for several months now. I will definitely shop at their store again and I would recommend this store to my friends and family.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!! I ordered the LG washer/dryer combo from Homeclick, they charged my credit card instantly and never shipped the machine - kept telling that it would be a few more weeks. After 2 months, I cancelled my order and ordered through Compact Appliance. I got the machine in 3 days from Austin to Los Angeles.

Website was extremely easy to get around and they have great descriptions of the products. My compact washer arrived on time and in excellent condition. I could have gotten the same washer on a different site for about $60.00 cheaper but would have taken longer to get it and I would have had to pay more for shipping plus the reviews for Compact Appliances were more positive which really influenced my decision. I will shop with them again.

These people are GREAT. My first dishwasher arrived damaged inside, they had another delivered the NEXT day and I just had to give the UPS man the box and they repacked it and sent it back. The initial delivery took 4 days and they ARE the CHEAPEST priced online. I would order from them again and again and I have recommended them to everyone who liked my dishwasher.

I have ordered several items from Compact Appliance and have been very happy every time. Looking through the negative reviews, it seems to me that their competitors are writing them to give a bad impression. Some good reviews are countered with a negative that is the exact opposite. Very shady. Example: Look at Jan 11 from dfoster33, then directly above at Jan 16 from notjk. Goes to show you can't count on these ratings to be legit at all. I would suggest calling the store to see for yourself before making a decision. They have good (live) customer service and their site provides more relevant details than most others I've looked at. My last purchase was an outdoor beverage refrigerator that is one of the most well made items I've ever bought. Ordered it by phone and it arrived within 4 days in perfect condition. I had several questions about the product which their sales rep answered without missing a beat. Again, I strongly suggest you take reviews at places like this with a grain of salt.

I ordered a portable air conditioning unit from CompactAppliance.com. After placing the order, I found some unfavorable reviews about their customer service on the internet - uh oh. The unit arrived quickly, but it had been damaged in shipment, and was not really what I wanted, after all. "Oh great!", I thought. "Now I'm going to get screwed." However, to my relief, they handled the return very well - no hassles, no run-around, no charges. Maybe they had customer service problems at one time, but my experience was excellent.

I purchased a clearance/open box appliance, which arrived with all manuals & warranty intact. Excellent deal & product.
I would (& have) recommend CompactAppliance.com to friends & family. I was emailed several times with shipping/delivery status & tracking options.

The only issue I had was with the carrier, who left the box in the driveway about 40 feet from my door. He was aware I was home as he saw me look out window. He was leaving skid marks before I made it to the door, which was definitely not cool, as the box was approx 60 lbs & I was home alone w/no hand truck or muscle man :o(
In his defense, was during heat wave.
I do not hold the seller responsible for this, as I have had issues of this nature with this carrier before (in several locations, lazy drivers etc. This is why I like the brown trucks much better than the blue trucks. :o)

I would recommend this website because the products were accurately represented, and they have great prices and sales. There was a slight problem getting the discount offered at the time of purchase, but the customer support was amazing and very friendly. They fixed the problem immediately. I was surprised to find some items that I wasn't even sure existed. I had been looking for a water cooler that made ice cubes, and your site was the only one I found it on. We ended up buying a straight ice maker instead. It works great for us. We live in the country where all we have is well water. With the new ice maker we no longer have to run out to the gas station to buy ice. Thanks Compact!

I had read a few less-than-good reports, but they were from over a year ago. I was surprised at the great condition on arrival. I wouldn't complain about the earlier than listed arrival date, except I was at work. Fortunately - I had a neighbor that called, and signed the mandatory invoice for several hundred dollars worth of equipment. They need to notify people when they're early - I took the wrong day off. Overall, I'm happy, and would order from them again.
