Chefs Resource

Don't bother shopping there.  I ordered 3 items on Nov 25 as holiday gifts in plenty of time for Christmas even with the free shipping.  Was told that 1 of the 3 was on back order.  Fine.  On Dec. 5 I realized I had not received an email or anything about the other 2 items.  I called them explained they were gifts and was basically told, "too bad" but we cannot ship the other items out for free until the back order comes in, maybe this week...  I shopped around, found all three items for a little bit less, with free shipping, have already received 2 items, the third to arrive tomorrow.  So, for $5 they lost an $82 order.  When I cancelled my order with them, they didn't even care enough to ask ...

Fantastic experience.  Great price, worked with me on APO shipping, and they even had a special deal that got us a free stock pot for buying a set.  I am so glad we shopped with them.  Only improve:  sorting Le Creuset by color so you can find things easier.

My order was confirmed 11/29/10 but after 2+ weeks no word on shipping. Called customer service, told me they wouldn't have items till January. No email or call was made to inform me. Cancelled order.

I placed an order with Chef's Resource, only to find out that they will not ship to APO addresses. Although I did receive a prompt refund, it would be nice if they would ship to help make our stays overseas with the government and military feel more like home.

Terrible experience. Ordered two on sale fry pans and had them to sent to my daughters the first of december. When I got there, what they had sent was something pricier (not on sale) but not at all what I wanted. Attempted to contact them numerous times before christmas, but could never speak with anyone and they never returned my calls. Since this was all I had I went ahead and gave these as presents. My daughter still wanted what I had actually ordered, so I continued to call. I just spoke to customer service and was informed that I can only get credit for the others if they are in the original packing with all original paper work and have never been opened....and since they were opened, they are going to bill me for what I received in error (the wrong thing) since it was not on sale and would have cost more! They were exceptionally rude. No explanations for why I could not get in touch with them for nearly a month. I would strongly not recommend this company .

Very happy with Chef's Resource! I had ordered a TOB-165 through etronics.com, given their low price, and it was a brutal experience. I, ultimately, ended up canceling the order, paid a few more dollars and bought it through Chef's Resource. Contacting them for the order was fast and painless, the TOB shipped that same day, and arrived in perfect condition 2 days later.

I hope they have something I need in the future... would make it a point to get it from them.

Very Satisfied, Will order from chefsresource.com again. Best Price,Speedy Delivery,Correct Item delivered. I was hesitant to order after reading some reviews. I phoned to place my order, since I wanted to see if it was possible to speak to a person if need be. Also, online only showed 1 remaining blender in clearance. Justin in Customer Service was GREAT! He verified 1 remaining and pulled it from shelf personally to make sure I would get it. I ordered at 10:34 am June 24 and received, as per Justin's promise, on June 29. 3 business day delivery UPS. I DID my price comparison research for 2 weeks AND read chefsresource return policy. Do this BEFORE you purchase anywhere whether online or local store!!! I haven't used the blender yet, this review is not for the product it is for the purchasing experience.

I was looking for a piece of enameled cast iron from Staub. Chef's Resource had the largest selection by far. Their prices were similar to everyone else, but did give free shipping at $99. I ordered online and got an email confirmation pretty quickly that the order was received. The next day the order shipped and I was given a tracking number.

Everything arrived, as expected, and quickly. I would definitely shop here again.

Three weeks after placing an order with Chef's Resource, the company e-mailed to say that the item was out of stock. Did I want to wait for re-stocking? Sure, I said.

Three weeks later, I got a job that took me out of NYC for several months. At the time of my departure - six weeks after placing the original order - my shipment still hadn't arrived.

I was unaware of Chef's Resource's 30-day return policy on unused merchandise (never read the fine print). When the $165.00, 5-quart Le Creuset casserole was finally delivered, I was out of town.

Got back to town last night. When I opened the box from Chef's Resource, I saw immediately that the casserole was smaller than what I needed, and repacked it.

Called Chef's Resource this morning to arrange a return and a refund and to purchase a larger casserole. It was then that I found out about the 30-day return policy: Used or not, after 30 days the item is yours.

I'll unload this $165.00 casserole on a friend, and purchase a larger one, but not from Chef's Resource. One man's childish revenge.

Always check the company's return policy!

I ordered an All Clad set from them because they had comparable prices with anyone else, had a bit better selection of free gifts with purchase and apparently stocks every piece of All Clad.

The set was ordered on a Sunday night. I got an email right away confirming the order. The set shipped Monday, I was emailed with a tracking number.

Very easy, very painless.
