I haven't received my entire order yet--only half of it. I ordered a costume that came with a shirt and pants and they were different sizes. I contacted customer service and they do not have anymore costumes---and will not get any more before Halloween. I was offered to return it for a refund or a receive a 20% discount in order to find my child a black shirt that will work with the costume. Hopefully when my daughters costume come it will be the size I ordered and have all the parts with it.

This is the second time I have purchased something from Chasing Fireflies, and both times have had problems with the items not being in stock(although this was not indicatd at time of purchase). Also, the items were not available to be shipped when I was told they would be. I'm not sure if it is the company or the vendors, but if it is a vendor issue they need to reassess who they use. Although this company has very cute children's things, I would never recommend purchasing from them. Also of note, this appears to be an ongoing problem with them as my first purchase was made 16 months ago, and the second just recently(I was so aggravated with the delays on the first order it took my this long to use them again, and this time is even worse).

I placed my order on September 20, and still have not received my order. When receiving my order confirmation via email, it stated that one item would ship on 9/30, and the other would ship on 10/06. I wish that had been made clear at the time of check out, or I would not have purchased these items.

I liked the product but a portion of it arrived damaged (the flower was not attached to the headband). Because we wanted to use the costume shortly after it arrived, I glued the flower back on instead of returning the costume to the company.

The order for my letter sweaters is a good example of what happens on occasion when I order from fireflies; upon ordering this item on Sept 2, my order confirmation stated that the items were "in stock"; as of Sept 17, I had not received said items, and it wasn't until I tracked the order that I learned it had been backordered. I am given incorrect info from the start, and was NEVER notified that said items had to be backordered, and that there was a wait.
Other orders that I have placed have stated that items would be shipped after ---(date), and they have arrived as stated. I think this company has WONDERFUL items, but I think that their service (ESP. COMMUNICATION!) could be greatly improved!

I never received any correspondence from the company, never received the merchandise, and have already sent 2 inquiries to them regarding the whereabouts and timing of the items. The company has never responded to my correspondence. So regarding the items I purchase, which were gifts for upcoming baby showers, I have no idea whether or not I will recieve them in time. This is poor customer service.
