Beauty.com is one of my favorite online stores. It is a "sister site" to Drugstore.com, and I have purchased many items with good results.

Delivery Speed

This is not a website where you will wait around for your stuff. The reason is a unique partnership the site has using UPS AND USPS. My last order was placed on 12/10/07 and I received it with my free shipping coupon code for standard shipping in 3 days!

If you spend $49.00, shipping is free. This is an everyday thing - pretty good if you ask me.

Order Accuracy and Customer Service

I have never had a problem with inaccurate orders, but I have had one problem that required me to utilize Beauty.com's customer service, and I was very satisfied with their solution. Read below.

Now THAT'S good customer service.

I had ordered a bottle of bubble bath with a screw-on top. It arrived with the top loose, and about 4 tablespoons of bubble bath had spilled all over the box, onto my other products. GROSS! The bottle still was over 3/4 full, so I decided to email Beauty.com and just tell them what had happened, not expecting a refund because after all, I still had almost all the product left.

I was issued a full refund IMMEDIATELY for the bubble bath, and not in store credit either - it was refunded to my payment method. It happened to be a $15.00 bottle. My response was from a real person - it was not some form letter. She apologized profusely.

Big Site, Big Brands, Unique Payment Methods

From Fresh to Dr. Hauschka to philosophy and Urban Decay, the website has some good offerings. It is no Sephora.com, and for a really wide selection, I would recommend trying Sephora, but there is one thing that makes Beauty.com unique, and that is the payment method called, "Bill Me Later."

Bill Me Later is a line of credit strictly for online shopping. Once you are approved, each future purchase is reviewed separately (no credit line limit is set) and this can allow someone who chooses not to use a credit card number online to have a safe and convenient way to purchase items.

PayPal is also accepted at Beauty.com, which is another secure way to pay.

You get some pretty cool free samples when ordering at Beauty.com, and you get to PICK from a selection of them.

MONEY BACK

Both Beauty.com and Drugstore.com have a program where you get back 5% of your total purchase for spending in the next calendar month. I'll be honest, I'm not quite sure how this works. I've never taken advantage of it. Usually you have to use your cash back so quickly and it expires before I need to order anything. And I have a feeling the kinks may still be working themselves out with this program.

Overall Satisfaction

I am highly satisfied with my Beauty.com shopping experiences, from the customer service I received when something went wrong, to the free samples, convenient payment method, and easy navigation of the website.

The brands are good, the shipping is fast and reliable, and coupon codes are frequently issued and make ordering more frugal.
