Per my conversation with Thia this morning (11:45 AM April 20, 2005), I wish to cancel this order.
For your information (and hopefully future improvement to your Customer service), my reasons for canceling includes the following facts: 1 I placed an order on April 16th and as of April 20 it was not processed - because you apparently needed to verify my address. 2 I called you verification number and left my address information on your machine on April 18th. 3 It is too difficult to get through to speak to a live person at your company - I called at least five times and was kicked to a voice mail system. 4 When I finally reached a live person and requested a price change on one item (since my order had not yet been processed and the price of one of the items on my order is now lower than when I placed the order), i was told that I had to take the item at the higher price. This all adds up to poor customer relations - though you may have attractive prices. |

I'm glad they're customer service is kind enough to check and make sure that they are sending you the right stick of RAM when it's necessary for the sake of being sure it will match a stick you already have. Newegg wouldn't help with that kind of thing from my experience.

took 10 days to get to me. I live in Hawaii, and had to pay
the extra $10.00 shipping, (not complaining since HI.), but

I have purchased from this site before and was very pleased again. I have recommend them to others for their good service and good prices.
I did contact their customer service about another item that I did not purchase, a Sony external floppy drive. I had a question about what would ship in the box, specifically cables. They were unable to help me. They told me to go to the manufacturer for technical information. This was not a technical question but a sales question, "What will be inside the box you send me?"
I was disappointed with this site for lack of help on this question and that is why I did not purchase from them. To be fair, another site was unable to help with the same question and gave me the same answer.
i think a retailer whould be able to tell me what will be inside a box they send me.

I'm giving them one more day, but my experience so far is very disappointing. I should have read recent reviews, which are mostly bad. I ordered the very popular Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P200 digital camera on Monday, lured by the good price and promise of free 2nd day air shipping. They called my home to confirm my address on Tuesday or Wednesday night. By Wednesday the order status changed to "packed." I thought it was taking unusually long to be shipped out. Then on Thursday I received an email saying that the camera was on back order, "estimated time of arrival 4/18/05" [Monday]. Back to the website -- I find that orders marked "packed" are NOT eligible for cancellation. Why was the camera listed as in stock (and in fact, it still lists as "in stock" at Epinions)? Why call it "packed" when it could not possibly be? Blaming their software is no excuse; the errors are conveniently in their favor. Beware.

This looked like a good web page. I wanted a memory card fast, and what's better than free second day delivery? Well, I watched my order(placed on 4/13 expectantly, email confirmation was fast. Received notice that order would probably be processed in 24 hours. A little disappointing but not as disappointing as receiving an email 48 hours later that the item was backordered with a target date on 4/20. Wait a minute, two days ago processing changed to "packed", (how do you pack something that's backordered?) also the ability to cancel the order went with it. Guess I'll go bricks and sticks and have two xD cards since ZZF has a 15% restock fee. Guess I won't be back to ZZF.
