ZIPZOOMFLY has converted to deceptive business practices!!! I am a long time shopper and have built hundreds of systems from their company - I have only used them (and when they were googlegear) for roughly 7 years. Now, they charge shiping almost all the time (always used to be free). And when they have "free shipping" promotions, it turns out they will charge you shipping at random based on some unknown "weight." When I questioned them, they said, effectively "too bad .. you should have split up your orders." And then they sent me the "too heavy" order in two packages! (case separately) So why did they charge me shipping?? Complete ripoff. Now, I also find out that they are promoting other items showing "rebate discounts" when the rebates are not yet effective, or expired!! Extremely deceptive!
To top it off, their customer service completely dismissed me and seemed to not value my long time business at all.
I will be taking my business to NEWEGG.com now - who are cheaper, offer more, cheaper, shipping, and do not engage in deceptive rebate offers.
Be warned - it looks like tough times have turned a formally good business into yet another online hack.
