WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. End Result: I'm out $190 and some change...and ZipZoomFly wants me to hold the bag!!
The ordering process was fine...delivery set up through FedEx...ZipZoomFly was paid through my credit card. However, come to find out, ZipZoomFly failed to require package signature through FedEx. Further, FedEx mishandled delivery and left this valuable package OUTSIDE a SECURE townhouse community with no authorization, no note, no phone call/message. I meticulously tracked delivery prior to arrival and anticipated the countdown. However, that evening after coming home from work, there was no package, no note, no phone message, my wife was home all day. I search directly outside my Townhouse, the neighbors, the area outside the secured entry--nothing. I gave it a couple days to see if one of my neighbors accepted my package. To my amazement, I soon realize my package was STOLEN and ZipZoomFly and FedEx were at fault. I promptly notified both companies and started the claim process... A follow-up phone call from the FedEx driver revealed that the package was left outside, unsecured. I promptly requested status through ZipZoomFly and here's what I got:
RESPONSE TO STATUS REQUEST #1: "Dear Customer, Please be advised, claims normally take 4-6 weeks to process. We currently do not have any new information on your claim. However, you are more than welcome to check back with us at a later time. Please feel free to contact us if you need anything else. Regards, ZipZoomFly Customer Service"
AFTER 5 WEEKS...I asked for a status...
RESPONSE TO STATUS REQUEST #2: "Dear Customer, Unfortunately, your claim was denied. As a result, we will not be able to refund or reship your item(s). Please feel free to contact us if you need anything else. Regards, ZipZoomFly Customer Service"
BAD FAITH on ZipZoomFly's part... ZipZoomFly takes my money, botches delivery, and virtually says "have a nice day but don't expect anything from us..." On top of that, their 10-second reply includes "Dear"..."Regards"--are you kidding me!!
ZipZoomFly has caused me financial harm, denied my claim with no rationale, offers no solution, and closes with "Regards." This is unacceptable at every level and represents a bad faith response from ZipZoomFly! I will never order from this company again.
I quickly filed a dispute with my credit card company to reverse the charges... This issue is not closed. So who knows if I will ever see my $190+.
