The whole experience of solving my blind problem was just great. I wanted remote-controlled blinds for three windows that are from 15 to 20 feet high, and therefore too high for conventional controls. I googled for a "remote blinds" provider and found the YourBlinds website, which was easy to understand and navigate through. There was a large selection of items to choose from, and after making my selection, I had a couple of questions. So I emailed to the "contact us" point, and YourBlinds customer service replied with meaningful responses to those emails, and even called me to ensure the blinds they would make would be what I wanted. In only a few days, the order was received BEFORE it was promised, it was packaged professionally, it was in excellent condition, and exactly matched what I had hoped it would look like. Further, it was easy to install, and worked perfectly. The price of the product I felt was competitive, so I didn't shop around. If I need service, the website advised keeping the packaging materials for ease of return. I was only the slightest bit disappointed that the batteries necessary to operate the blinds were not included. Since these cost about $10 per window, that was a little bit of a sting; however, the website never promised that the batteries would be included, so I couldn't really squawk about that. I would call this a "hidden cost," which, though disappointing in the overall shopping experience, was probably my fault for not checking this out more thoroughly before ordering. Overall though, an excellent online shopping site.
