Working Person's Store

Will never order from this store again. My orders are always on backorder, forever. I have canceled all orders and I advise anyone else that if they actually want to get their order, buy from another store.

On December 9th,2007 I ordered some Carhartt overalls for my husband and received them within 3 weeks. However, I also ordered Carhartt winter coveralls at the same time, and they went on back order..again...and again.. and again. January 25th,2008 came and still no coveralls.I called them and once again they said they are on back order..now till February. I thought their price for the coveralls was good but it wasn't worth waiting till the end of winter for them. He won't need them in the spring so I canceled my order.
I was never notified at anytime they were on back order until I complained. I had to call them every time to inquire why they had once more not been shipped. They sent me a $10 coupon for my trouble.I guess they want me to sit around for months and wait for another order. No thanks.
They will not get any future business from me!

I placed an order almost 4 weeks ago. I have not received it, nor did I get any response from my emails inquiring about my order. Today I bought the item somewhere else and canceled my order. Apparently they are doing so well they don't need my business.

After approximately 20 days from placing my order I called to check status and was told the item was on backorder. It would have been nice to know that sooner. I then changed my order to something in stock and was given the same price as previous order with "upgraded" shipping. Well, after not hearing from you guys again I call back to get "I'll have to check with shipping". Needless to say I cancelled my order. Now I only hope I get my refund back. THE WORST online experience I have had by far and I will tell anyone interested in this company to steer clear.

It is easy to give good service when there are no problems. It is when a problem pops up that a companie's true colors show. The product I ordered came missing a part. I called and the service rep. told me they would send out a whole new unit at once. I asked how she wanted me to send back the unit I had, as it could still be used. She told me to keep the old one. And on top of that, they sent the replacement unit via the same way I paid extra for the original......3 day UPS. They could have gone much cheaper and did not. These are good people, doing what is right when things do not go as expected. If you need work cloths or other work items, you will not go wrong by shopping with these folks!

The selection and amount of boots to choose from was great, this is the only place i found exactly what i was looking for. The only thing was, the shipping took longer than it was suppose to, but i will gladly shop here again.

I placed an order and received a confirmation for my purchase, when I tried to track down, there was no way of tracking my order. all of a sudden I received an email telling me that they could not fill my order because my item was out of stock.

I ordered shoes and blue jeans. I received the shoes, in a reasonable time frame I suppose, although I paid for 3 day delivery, it took several days. Haven't heard a word as to why my blue jean order was not filled, whether waiting on the supplier or WHAT? But fortunately, I was in no real hurry. I do like the Working Person's selection and prices are reasonable.

Customer service is excellent. The only problem we have is with the fit of the overalls, and that has to do with manufacture and not the store where we made the purchase.
